You're guaranteed to have an amazing time, especially when you bring good friends you can vibe with. I have a wine membership, and I love it! I receive two bottles every other month, but sometimes they don't last very long, so I just go back and purchase another bottle. I love the almond wine because I'm more of a sweet wine and champagne type of girl. I've tried at least 15 of their wines and haven't been disappointed yet. The salmon with the little roll is delicious, and I also enjoy the chicken sandwich. The salad isn't really for me because I don't care for the greedy topping they use, but that's simply my personal preference. They also host jazz festivals and other outdoor events. You can reserve an area on the grass with tables and chairs, or simply bring your own chair, order something from the bar, and relax by the water. You can even sit on the grass and read a book. The water is absolutely gorgeous at night! This is one of those places that is difficult to explain because the entire experience is so amazing. Even if you only visit once, you'll leave wanting to come back. I have no complaints, and I have plenty of videos to prove how much fun I have every time!

I made a reservation to celebrate my friends' 50th birthday for 3:30pm outdoors. We arrived about 30minutes early and checked in w/the hostess. She veered us towards the back wall, where we could order a couple glasses of champagne while we waited. The young man that helped us decide which dry brut we wanted was great (bar)! We were seated before 3:30 and the metal tables can be slippery and ours was too small for everything to fit. I ended up knocking my $18 1/2 glass of champagne on the ground where it shattered (I have tremors in hands) - not a single employee came by to ask if we were ok, to clean it up, move us to another table or offer to fill my glass back up 1/2 way. This is within the first 15minutes of sitting. Our server was a ghost. She had on this dark purple, pinstriped shirt (not hard to miss) and would walk by and tell us she'd be "right back!". All she did was check in when we were first seated to ask what we wanted, before we read the menus. She didn't ask our prefereces, she didn't go over any specialty wines or specials. I was very disappointed with the entire experience. We both got the red flights on top of our champagne. We ony liked two reds and the pours were so small, it was truly difficult to tell all the depth, character and full bodiness of them. We bought no wine bottles. And, no one encouraged a sale either. I was going to get the JFJ white bubbly, but this place with its poor service, tiny pours (not even 2oz) and even tinier charcuterie plate serving sizes wasn't worth it (salami, goat cheese w/oil, espresso cheese, 1/4 baquette w/oil). I was so embarassed that I brought my friend here for her 50th thinking we'd have a blast, like at Rockwall or Dasche - NOPE. All that for $135!

I came here for my friend's baby's first birthday. In Korean culture, a baby's 1-year-old birthday is a HUUUUUGE deal. It's called a Doljanchi or a "DOL"--where the baby wears a hanbok (traditional dress) and there's a ritual (sort of a fortune telling) where a bunch of innocuous objects are placed in front of the baby, ex. a string, a gavel, a coin, a brush, etc. And when the baby picks up the object, say a gavel, then s/he will become a judge...something like that. It's all in good fun. Ironically, the baby did in fact pick up the gavel, which is rare, usually babies pick up the coin or a string since it's lighter and easier to grab. I've seen pictures of my DOL and it's off the hook. There is a bunch of food, especially Korean duk and tons of fruit-- to represent prosperity and long-life. My grandparents (on my dad's side) were so proud to hold me in the photo-- I looked kinda miserable. In fact, I looked like a boy. The reason why DOLs are such a big deal is because traditionally in Korea, most babies didn't survive past their first year of life. Apparently, my mom told me that when I was 3 months old, I got really really sick, and was sick for another 3 months afterward and she was afraid that I wouldn't make it. Dramatic, right? So, when I turned one, she threw a huge party-- "a thankful relief," she said. That's why when I get sick as an adult, I get really sick because my immune system is basically shot. And it's really cute, even today, my mom freaks out when I get sick, because she remembers back to when I was a baby. And always gives me the motherly speech about sleeping more and drinking fluids..and it's one of the rare times I actually allow her to "take care of me." Heck, I think it's the only time I let anyone take care of me. Either way, the celebration was beautiful. So proud of my friend for being such an amazing mother/woman-- and she's really blessed to have such a beautiful child, who will forever love and adore her. Babies are the best, they need you like no other, and I absolutely love taking care of them.

The space is absolutely beautiful and a great blank canvas that doesn't need much decorating because it's got what some elders may call "good bones". The owners are really easy to work with and great at outlining all the details up front, so that you know what you are getting. And for the price, it's totally worth it! The space comes with tons of bells and whistles that you would normally pay extra for. That includes a sound system (for a DJ or you can use their Bluetooth and play your own music), light system, industrial fridge, microwave, a built-in selfie or Photo booth green wall, industrial trash cans, tables, and chairs galore. There's also free and plentiful parking located out back, which was a great built-in perk. There are so many things we loved about this space, including the barn door leading to a cute back patio. Great for creating indoor/outdoor space for guests. Ours used it to watch the trains going by, which was a big hit for the kids. The front of the venue is situated right near a loading dock/overhang area, which came decked out with lights and was perfect for our Piñata. There's also space adjacent the loading dock that worked perfectly for a jumper. We really enjoyed renting this space, and our guests absolutely loved it as well.
