My daughter enjoyed her eggs, sausage, and toast, while I had a bacon, egg, and bacon sandwich on toast with mayonnaise, along with a bowl of oatmeal and a cup of coffee. Everything was fresh and satisfying. My only minor suggestion would be that I would have liked my toast a little more done, especially since my daughter's was toasted just the way I prefer. It certainly wasn't enough to take away from the experience. The Crystal Restaurant has been serving the Watertown community since 1925, and it's easy to understand why it has become such a local landmark. There was not anything wrong with the food we had at all, and we will probably be back in the future to try some of their other food. The woman that brought our food out to us (not our server) was rude and seemed inconvenienced that she brought out the wrong food again. She said she wasn't dealing with this and walked away. Our waitress came back and I sent it back. Waited another 20 minutes and this time, the steak was seared on the outside, but completely gray and raw on the inside. The fat wasn't rendered and the meat smelled like raw meat just pulled out of the fridge. I was disgusted. The waitress took my meal off the bill and we left.
