I tried their cheddar popcorn, caramel popcorn and sea salt caramels. The cheddar was a crunchy and tasty treat as was the caramel popcorn. The sea salt caramels were a delicious treat and I love that you can order their treats individually. The prices are inexpensive which I appreciate. Thought it would be good because of all the 5 reviews, but I will tell you that is not the case. I thought it was going to be great popcorn at a fair price. The prices are cheap, but so is the popcorn. Got what they call a "Goody Bag" and it was nothing but kernels. I know your thinking it was just that batch, no I got two bags of two different flavors. Got a flavor for my mom and she hated it because hers was all kernels too. Would I go back? Probably not because visiting here reminded me of the reason why I don't buy popcorn from stand alone shops. That reason is the customer always gets ripped off. I would give higher rating if the popcorn was good, but I'm sure I can find a recipe on Pinterest or Google and get it done without the drive and the cost. My advice get a sample and inspect the bag before you pay for it. read more

The Poppin Shop has the BEST cheddar cheese popcorn ever! It is sooo good! It isn't made with that yucky powder - it's made with a "cheese paste". Don't let the sound of that fool you, it is the most delicious stuff on earth! I have tried the butter popcorn too and that is delicious as well. BUT, I am a fan of the cheddar for sure! They have tons of flavors to pick from and you can have it bagged in a plastic bag if just for you or placed in a decorative tin if using as a gift. The make popcorn for all occasions (they had some cool popcorn balls and chocolate/nut drizzled popcorn for Valentine's Day this past year! YUMMY! They also have a case full of fresh fudge that I have sampled and it is wonderful as well! They have a small fridge with a tiny selection of drinks - but you don't go there for that anyways! There's a restaurant in Las Vegas in the Cosmopolitan hotel. It's called Holstein's. As their "bread on the table", they serve salt and vinegar popcorn. Some friends and I have tried to perfect the recipe to no avail. Poppin' Shop has it down pat! My husband always had a small popcorn shop close to his home, but it went out of business. Having had many fond memories of this place, he's always been on the lookout for a new popcorn shop. We happened upon the Poppin' Shop one day while with his mom and they both highly enjoyed a revisited memory of his childhood. The variety is AWESOME! They have at least 20 flavors of popcorn ranging from Jalapeno to Cheddar, Cinnamon Toast to Blueberry. The size ranges from an extra small (about the size of a large ziplock bag) to a 20lb bag for parties. My husband opted for the "rainbow" pack which included the following flavors: Cherry, Orange, Lemon, Banana, Lime, Strawberry, Blue Raspberry, Blueberry, and Grape. On display they also have different "gift" ensembles in case you're looking for a unique and tasty gift for everything from a new baby to a hostess gift. The prices are really decent and the staff running it (I think it's a family business?) are very friendly. They'll even let you have a sample to try any flavor you want. Went there today for some Christmas gift tins. What an awesome variety of favors !! I love that you can mix any favors you want into a tin. I loved the jalapeño flavor popcorn and the caramel chocolate drizzle was to die for. They also sell fudge ! Really wish I had sampled that too. The best part is they make all this on premises and you can sample anything first to make sure you like it. Parmesan garlic popcorn?? Dill pickle?! Where have you been all my life. We love this place. We started going there for Christmas gifts but it quickly became a favorite place to go when we just wanted some good popcorn or fudge for a treat. I LOVE The Poppin Shop. They have the BEST caramel popcorn I have ever tasted. The ladies that work there are super nice. They also have really good fudge. You can buy as little or as much as you want there is no set amount that you have to buy. I haven't tried any of the other popcorn there because I just can't get passed the caramel corn. Another thing I really like about the caramel corn is that its not just half way coated and clumped together like other caramel corn. Every piece is completely coated and its very crispy and not soggy at all. You have to go try it. it is worth the every penny! read more

Owner is fabulous, creative and customer focused. Most recently, I wanted fun gifts for 2 new teachers and one niece away at college. I was able to purchase an asst of different flavored popcorn in goodie bag sizes. They offer tins, boxes or cello bags. The gifts were fun, interesting and a huge hit! In the past, I've purchased popcorn in the color of my party themes. Raspberry blue, rainbow and even dill pickle for a baby shower. What a fun, family owned, local business. Love this place! Highly disappointed. Drove 10 miles to this place to buy some fudge. What they had looked as it had been there for a week or more. I reluctantly bought a pound and it was hard as a rock and dry. The two girls that were there seemed clueless when I asked if they had fudge. I will never go there again. When they sell old products at a premium price, it's just disgusting. read more
