This place was very nice, the back massage was wonderful and my dip is lasting which is a huge plus. The only negative thing I'd have to say is the nail tech didn't really listen to how I wanted my nails shaped or the length. She asked if I wanted them cut: "no". So she filed them to the point where she might as well have just cut them. I also prefer rounded almond style natural nails as I can in with and now they are all square so not too pleased about that. This was my first time visiting and I'm so happy I stopped by! I got the silky milk spa pedicure and it lasted 60 minutes and Jessica took her time and made sure I was happy. I always get a French and I'm annoyingly picky with the line being straight and she did a perfect job! I also got a gel French manicure and she did an equally wonderful job. The place was nearing closing time, but she did not rush through at all. She took her time and I was so grateful. The gentleman that rang me up even took the time to explain their rewards program and signed me up. It was a cold day and I had the sandals salons give you and he stopped me and asked Jessica to put a special sealant on my toes and then she wrapped them so I could put my shoes back on. Just had my first experience at The Polish Studio, and it was wonderful! I had called about 15 minutes before heading over, and the woman who answered the phone was kind and seemed delighted to accommodate my request for a pedicure and gel polish removal. The space appears new and very clean, and my pedicure chair was ready for me when I arrived. Being 9 months pregnant I was very much looking forward to some relief for my swollen feet, and my basic pedicure with included massage and hot stones did not disappoint! My only regret is I did not catch the name of the lovely attendant who completed the service. The manicure that I received was also very well done, and I am pleased with how clean and neat my nails look even without polish (my request as I want my nails to look just that way when baby arrives)! I'm disappointed. I specifically went here based on reviews, as I just moved to the area. The woman who did my mani/pedi was okay. She filed all my nails and toenails on a slant. She hardly took off any of my cuticles, which I desperately needed, and was the reason I came in for the manicure. Otherwise I could do it myself at home. It seemed like she would start out taking off the cuticles, then quit halfway through. Also, I just got them done yesterday, but the edges of some of the polish along the edges are already peeling off. It just felt rushed and not very friendly. The only reason I even gave one star is because it was super clean and I liked the place itself. Definitely going to check out other places for my next nail appointment. read more

This business gave me a difficult time to use Groupon. I made an appointment two Saturday in a row and had to leave without getting the service that I paid for provided. Worst experience at nail salon, I will not be returning to get the services I paid for filled. I have contacted Groupon for a refund and put in a complaint. RUDE, LACKS CUSTOMER SERVICE! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR BETTER TREATMENT! I had been to this nail salon pre-covid, so I thought I would have a good experience as I had prior. I was wrong. I had said hello as I had entered. A male employee was on his phone & asked if I had an appointment (no hello back). I then had answered no, & asked if I could get a pedicure & uv gel nails for a special occasion being my Bridal Shower. He said go pick a color & didn't ask me any questions. As I walked over to the pedicure station I had asked a few questions regarding nail style & had shown a couple of images for comparison. This male employee seemed very irritated with me, & had an attitude with each question I had asked. He even said that one design (partial nail) for one nail would take 45 minutes & he would not do anything like it. I didn't like how I was being treated & being made to feel like I was bothering him. As I decided I was going elsewhere he then started speaking to a coworker across the room. I decided to go to HQ Nails on Rt 46. This place did a really amazing job and charged reasonable prices. The pedicure I got a week ago still looks like I had it done today. Today was my first visit to this salon. I would like to say first that this salon deserved 5 stars from me until my gel manicure chipped in two places 5 hours after getting it done. The place looks beautiful, the salon is very clean and nice. Ashley did my pedicure and she did an amazing job. She took her time and really made sure to shape and color my toes perfectly. As a bonus, they give you a free 3-step spa pack for your first pedi. I don't know the name of the girl who did my manicure, but the paint job was mostly good; there were a were places were she touched the skin but I pointed it out and she quickly fixed them. She didn't do a good job shaping my nails: I had two broken nails and asked her to fix them ($5/each) and she made the nail rounded from one side and squared from the other. I pointed it out and she didn't seem to understand what's wrong with it so I had to take the file it myself. Also, they're running a promotion for gel mani/pedi - $49. I ended up paying $59 + tip, since I had two nails fixed after my two nails broke pretty high on the side, leaving my nails with an awkward shape. The fix was good in a sense that it made the nail longer to match the other ones but the shape was super off, one thumb ended up being twice the width of the other one, making it look like a shovel (see the picture). Also, on this finger the polish didn't cover the entire nail and looked grown out (attached the picture of the other thumb as a reference). As a stickler for details, that left me kind of unhappy, however, I didn't want to bring that up cause I have corrected the manicurist so many times at that point it was going to make me look rude. I was overall happy with the manicure cause you couldn't really tell the difference in the width of my thumbs unless you knew where to look. However, at 10 PM I noticed that the side piece of the nail polish was missing (mind you, it's gel). I didn't do laundry, didn't wash dishes, didn't do anything. Additionally, an hour later the other side peeled. The only way I was able to keep it together is by sealing it with Essie couture top coat I had at home (you can see where it broke on the second picture). I would come again but I would specifically request another manicurist and hope for the best. Overall, the quality was good and I hope it was just one mishap. I will adjust the review after my next visit. However, I won't make an effort to come here, like I did today. read more

Disappointed with The Polish Studio, my mother and I were there yesterday (Dec. 22nd). The atmosphere is great and the girl who did our mani/pedi a were nice but it wasn't the same experience I had a few months back.It was less than 24 hours and both of our manicures have significantly chipped in fact my ring finger has no nail polish whatsoever on it and I didn't even clean today. My husband and I took our son to Sesame Place. The first time I went it lasted at least a week for a regular manicure that is why I went back. Update: Thank you for getting back to me. I truly appreciate it. I would have come in to get them fixed but there really wasn't anytime with it being Christmas Eve. I ended up taking the nail polish off myself because of the extreme chipping. read more

She didn't explain their different options, just pointed to a sign. I picked the pedicure option with a 10 minute hot stone massage. The atmosphere is so relaxing and calm and Suzanne was awesome, gave me the best leg and foot massage I ever got. The staff is professional and friendly, The owner Linda is a sweetheart, and takes special care of all her customers. I will recommend this nail salon to all my friends. My feet and legs haven't felt this soft in a long time. They take an individualized holistic approach to your service instead of the typical meat market production line of so many nail salons these days. I was very pleased with my experience here. I had a regular pedi and a gel manicure. Both technicians were very meticulous and my nails looked great. I asked the pedi technician to be careful with my feet as I have arthritis and the massage can be painful. She was extremely gentle but thorough.
