This is a great place to live I have been living here since May of 2025. Property is always clean, and the leasing office team is amazing. They offer a lot to this small and beautiful community. I have been living here for 1.5 years. I really like the staff. The complex is not that big. There are plenty of trees everywhere so shade is available. There is also pollen and leaves all over the place. They have a landscaping crew that come by weekly to clear the lot. The gym is open 24/7 but there are only 2 treadmills, 3 bicycles, and some weights. Gym is never crowded so you can also exercise. The pool looks nice and is surrounded by chairs and grills. This is a gated community. I have not had a problem finding a parking spot or issue with the gate. I have not had any problems with neighbors. Sometimes they will have to shut the water off for hours. They usually send an email to let you know they will do that. I will probably live here as long as I live in Atlanta. read more

Amended review after 1.5 years of living here. Biggest con is the bugs. I'm on the first floor so I know that doesn't help, but there definitely are little cracked and holes that could be filled. Even though I get my house professionally cleaned, and pest control "sprays", I still find roaches almost daily. There also was a LIVE LIZARD in one of my light fixtures. When I told maintenance about it, they came later with a bucket and took it out. No explanation to how it got there or what they would do to prevent it again. The water filter in the gym was broken for about 8 months. Even after I mentioned it to the leasing office, it still took another 2 months or so for it to be restored. That should be checked on more regularly, and the refill of wipes -- especially in a pandemic. I agree with another review saying the ceilings are too thin. I can hear my upstairs neighbors talking, and whenever they walk everything on my wall shakes. Real pros for me are the location, easy access for guests, and the price. Maintenance usually responds to calls quickly and are all very nice. read more

I've lived at the Pointe for two years now and just resigned. We love the staff (SHOUTOUT MITCHELL!) and all the maintenance workers are INCREDIBLE. I've never gotten their names but I seriously cannot stress how much wonderful work they do for the complex and my partner and I. Always incredibly timely with requests and kind. The front office is wonderful as well, always communicating county checks and hosting events to create a real sense of community. The amenities are always well kept and it's great seeing people always using the grill, gym, and pool. Cannot recommend this complex enough. read more

Terrible experience for me. So many homeless people and this is why. I have a 6 figure income for the past 2 years. I come to this place and they tell me you cant have evictions on your credit make me pay 500 dollars upfront and then DENY me because of a collection/chargeoff from a hardship in 2017!!!! I have lived in multiple apartments since this collection and no one denied me. absolutely ridiculous. They really need to specify on their requirements form that they don't accept credit that has previous chargeoffs or collections no matter how long ago it is. I spoke with a lawyer and he said before covid they weren't allowed to do this but now they have become more strict. But they have my rental histroy report and covid did not effect me at all. Sucks for them they missed out on a great tenant. Part of the 500 dollars was an admin fee plus the deposit. I still have YET to receive my refund and they keep giving me the run around when I call saying they are not going to issue the refund until 30 days. why would you hold my money so you can make money investing it for 30 days? Applied at the Reserve at Lenox Park and was immediately approved and its a way nicer community. read more

This is by far the worst complex I have ever stayed in; there have been nothing but issues since day one, and they lie too much. Before I moved in, I was promised to have my unit inspected, cleaned, and move-in ready, but instead, I had to clean the mildew in the refrigerator and inside my bathroom. The fridge was bad, and maintenance had to come in twice before they could figure out that it needed to be replaced. The units are super old, smell old, and funny for the price they are asking for. The pictures don't match the actual units. And I remember the apartment manager telling me that their units were renovated, which was a lie. water shut off consistently throughout the year with no notice and plumbing issues, which aren't the tenant's issues because whomever the plumber is kept breaking things and causing a lot more issues. I would not recommend anyone living here. The walls are thin, and you can hear people from above and outside as well. Furthermore, dogs bark outside, and at 8-9 am; they are blowing the leaves outside, which causes a lot of noise because the units are old with thin walls. I have been woken up in my sleep several times after working overnight, and I am sure I am not the only person who has suffered these days. As soon as you walk up to the office, you can see in their faces that you are coming in to bother them. no sense of customer service or respect. The property manager over-talks to her tenants and doesn't let you finish your sentence. The only great thing I could say is the location, not the complex or units. Also, the gate setup is very confusing; you must wait for other vehicles to go in first before you can use your key fob to get in. Sometimes you will open the gate with your key fob and random strangers rushing to get in before you, and they do not live there. The neighborhood is sketchy; they stole a neighbor's wheels from their vehicle, even though it is a gated community. The fan in my bathroom hasn't been working since I moved in there; I must turn the AC on for it to defrost the foggy mirror. The toilets and tubs are always stained after 3 days of cleaning up the mildew. Overall, the place is dirty and looks like we live in a forest that we pay rent for. read more

The water is off every other month and of course there's no sort of accommodations when it's time to knock Rent off for where they fall short. I cannot wait to leave this place. Rent is WAY TOO HIGH for the water to always be shut off. I have to go to work, I'm menstruating, have kids to look after, and there is NO WATER and NO EMAIL notification the water is off. Such a beautiful spot! Everyone is so friendly, and neighbors are always so fun! There are plenty of areas on the grounds to host gatherings and hang with your neighbors. I've been here two years and this place has gone down. I've mad requests for the management to clean our breezeway and bring it up to speed like the others and they just cleaned around my door. It's nasty here and I'm sick of it. Cobwebs are everywhere and taking over the last breezeway toward the fence of the 6000 building. I've asked management several times to clean it to no avail. I want the WHOLE building cleaned. DO YOUR JOBS! We pay too much rent to feel like we're waking through an attic. It's nasty. I'm going corporate with the issue next. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. I have lived here for almost 1 year now and everything the management team shows you during the tours and try to sell to you are a LIE. The entire team is in on it, Krista, Chris, and Jessica. The place is quiet but the management team is so heavy on trying to push people to move in that they will say anything you want to hear. Yes, there are bugs. I have seen small roaches and I have seen large ones in my apartment. And I'm a neat freak so my place is always clean! Things break easily here and the only perk is the maintenance team is quick to come and fix what is broken. MANY of my neighbors had to move out during the COVID pandemic. The Pointe offered an "assistance" program with their corporate that allowed people to make late payments towards their rent. The second the CARE ACT stopped, they slipped letters to over 40 apartments stating we all needed to pay all rent due (in some cases friends told me it was $3,000-$6,000 that was owed) or get evicted in 30 days! My neighbor had a two kids and they both got laid off during these though times and they did not care!!! Those neighbors all had great jobs prior to COVID and lost it/got furloughed due to the current country's pandemic. They didn't provide ANY type of help, grants, programs, etc. THEY DON'T CARE. Their excuse is the care act is over so that means they DON'T have to care anymore. It is absolutely insane. They are completely ignorant to the fact that they are LUCKY to still receiving a paycheck to "take care of us" but refuse to do so. It seems as though they lack basic human compassion and only are thinking of money. They will do whatever to sell you on this place but once you are in and signed your lease - they stop caring. Most of these reviews listed here are bought out as they have their "incentive" program that if you write a great review you get entered into raffles. Don't fall for it. I lived here for 11 months, which was the term of my lease. I moved out as soon as it was over so I didn't have to be fined for breaking my lease. I'm sad to say I felt very unsafe living there and I would not have moved if I didn't feel like I had to. Pros to living here first: * the maintenance team was very nice and fixed things fast and well. * Dog park was big and had the double gate system to make coming in and out easy. * It was easy to get packages from the leasing office Cons: * There was a lot of crime. Like a lot. There were four break ins in the time I lived there, one of which was my next door neighbor. My own car got broken into as well and I was actually woken up by the police knocking on my door to tell me. I told management and they said there was nothing they could do. They also never sent out emails or notices about the crime happening, I heard about the break-ins through word of mouth. Related to this was our gate was broken or left open and just stayed wide open for the majority of the time I lived there. First management said it was to not have to open the gate for contractors and delivery people, and then they said the gate was broken and the contractor couldn't come out anytime soon. I and many many other people expressed extreme concern about this and management just completely dismissed us. They seems to have an extremely blase attitude about it and said the gate had nothing to do with the crime and tv's and laptops getting taken out. It was extremely frustrating that management didn't even offer any steps they were taking to improve the situation. I lived on the first floor, this was also an extra concern to my safety. I had to resort to buying my own cameras and pepper spray and a taser in order to be able to sleep at night. * The water main was always broken, our streets got flooded with mountains of mud and water at least 4-5 times. My apartment also flooded once, I don't know if that was related but it was definitely an unpleasant surprise to come home to. * There were a lot of bugs both in my apartment, outside, and in the dog park. There were constantly huge cockroaches that found their way into my apartment. I ended up having to lay down traps for them and once caught a snake.... Why are there snakes and how do they get into my apartment. The dog park and the community in general is swarming with mosquitos from spring to fall. I am always covered in bites and had to resort to buying lots of mosquito repellant. They say they spray for bugs but obviously it does not seem very effective * It could get quite loud in the apartment because of outside noises. The ac units for the building were right outside my bedroom and they were constantly on and very loud. Every morning from 7:30-9AM landscaping would turn on very loud leaf blowers. It was the perfect time to wake me up or disturb and phone meetings I had to take for work. I understand leafblowing to keep the streets clean but could it not be after 9AM? * There are no sidewalks and people drive quite fast so it could be unsafe at times walking around. * They increased my rent by about $300 when renewal time came around which I found funny because I would not have stayed even if they had reduced my rent * On move out they charged my for not cleaning properly. Part of that was my not cleaning the fridge which was my fault. The other part was for not cleaning my bathroom though, which I did clean, and the girl doing my move out review said I might get charged $300 to replace my bathtub because of wear and tear that was not my fault. In the end I was charged nearly $100 and I did not have the time to dispute it. Overall it just put the nail in the coffin of my bad experience here. We got new management about 8 months into my lease, probably because too many people were complaining or not renewing their lease. I hope the new management can do better. Otherwise based on my experience I would never live here again. read more

I've lived on this property for 12 years, 9 years in one apartment and 3 years in another. I've seen a lot of different management companies over the years, but the one we have now is really great! They're extremely friendly and helpful. I also love that they fix problems quickly, e.g. when the trash compactor gets backed up, trash spills out and it becomes an unsightly mess. The maintenance staff is very friendly as well and issues are usually fixed within 24 hours. The complex is close to everywhere I need to go and pretty quiet. Moving here has been a great intro to the city. I'm close to the highway for work and about 10-20 minutes from anywhere I need and want to be. The community is super dog friendly and close to the Brookhaven park. Current management is so wonderful and accommodating, you aren't just a resident or an apartment number. Neighbors are super friendly and never have noise issues. Love my apartment space and happy to be in this community as a first time ATL-er! read more

Think twice before renting here and look somewhere else if you want to have a safe and quiet place with decent professional management. I have lived here since 2012 and this is not the same place i was enjoying to live. Over the past two years things have changed and more serious crimes happened. Expect water shut off every two to three months, loud inconsiderate neighbors and very unprofessional rude current management, they put you on hold for 20 minutes every time you call the office, they are not steady on their verbal promises, basically ignoring your concerns and coming up with that attitude as if you owe them something and you work for them instead them being attentive to your requests. This place turned to a ghetto hole with more druggie crazy neighbors coming in. Last year, a lady had gun pointed at her right at her doorstep, my neighbor downstairs had her window shattered, random pan handler was wandering around in community the other time, these are some of incidents i witnessed here after living for over five years. read more
