Chicken sandwich

I have driven past The Point many times but last week I Finally stopped in, and since then I've been back twice. I felt the drinks and food were reasonably priced. In addition to drinks, we ordered two cheeseburgers and a chicken sandwich with fries. The bartender was also nice enough to let a sample some chicken wings. I really enjoyed everything I ate. The vibe is your typical dive bar feel, which I really enjoy. The bartender told me the building use to be a KFC before it was The Point, thought that was a fun piece of knowledge. Great place to spend a Sunday watching sports. Looking forward to our next visit.

Fish and Chips July Friday Night Special $8.99

Loved it! I have been saying I want to go there and I'm talking about The Point Bar & Grill. It just reminded me of what might be back in my very small home town in Texas. And I was RIGHT! I just so enjoyed the low key atmosphere, fast service and wonderful food. They said their fish and chips were the best in the Springs and I needed to test that out. July Friday night special $8.99 Fish & Chips served just like it should be - crispy outside flaky beautiful inside mouth watering yummmmmm! Next time we are going on a Wednesday for their Fried Chicken special. Great chill place and comforting food from a chef that has been with them for over 20 years!! Need I say more? Your turn to try them out...

Terrible service. The bartenders would much rather hang out with their friends than pay attention to other customers. Avoid this place.

The food is pretty good and they have a wide selection of beers on draft. In my younger days, I would've loved to come here a lot to hang out with friends and to play sand pit volleyball. All of their servers were very attentive and took great care of our group. I never have liked unisex bathrooms as men are so dirty and their bathrooms need a deep cleaning.

The whole restaurant has changed. There is no longer any table service. You have to go to the bar to order your food, serve yourself water, and pick up your own food. All but 1 staff we encountered was incredibly rude (thanks Sam for being kind). It took over 30 minutes to revive our orders in which they forgot the sauces. It took several minutes for me to get anyone's attention to get them. The chicken tenders were extremely dry and the ranch was too sweet. And the prices are way too much. $17 for chicken tenders?! There's no signage anywhere to state these changes so it was very confusing when we came in. Next time, we will go to Raising Canes for tenders instead.

I ordered a slice with chicken, pineapple, and extra cheese. The flavors were great, although I personally would have loved even more cheese, but that's probably just me! The staff was friendly, and the service was quick from start to finish. Since I visited in the middle of the day, it wasn't busy at all, which made for a nice, relaxed experience. The outdoor seating area was especially enjoyable, and with the beautiful weather, it was the perfect place to sit back and enjoy a slice. I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm downtown craving pizza.

But my friends and I all decided to order the LIGHTS OUT BURGER. It's a smash burger with 2 patties, cheese & pickles. It's quite simple. It's listed as Denver's most popular burger & I can easily understand why. It's very good! A solid choice in my opinion. The burger is juicy. It has all the right ingredients to satisfy anyone's burger cravings. And on the particular Monday that we came here, they were offering an all-day happy hour discount on burgers. So, we got a discount on the burger. If you had ordered fries, you would have just paid the original price of the burger which is honestly a steal! If you can time your visit for a Monday, save the cost & stop by! Give the Lights Out Burger a try - you probably won't regret it. From my experience, the service here is excellent as well, which is always a plus.

We arrived for our 5pm reservation a few minutes early and were promptly seated by a super sweet hostess. She even acknowledged our anniversary and asked how our day had been so far. When our server arrived, she provided water and took our drink orders. I order the special "The Purple Drank" and my husband tried to order an iced tea but was told they don't serve tea, only water and Pepsi products. Ok, water it is...without any ice I might add. The Purple Drank came dressed with an orange sugar gummy candy and the drink looked orange as well. It tasted like nothing but grape vodka...and not a high quality one at that. We ordered an appetizer: Garlic Truffle Frites. They were just ok. Frozen, thin, crispy fries with maybe a little truffle oil, garlic seasoning, bag Parmesan cheese, an aioli dipping sauce. For entrees: Mediterranean Chicken Pasta and Chicken Cordon Bleu. The chicken pasta presentation was what you would see at a chain restaurant and everything accompanying the chicken was so smothered in oil, you couldn't really taste the flavor or the food. The cordon bleu was a frozen heat and serve with virtually little chicken, ham, or cheese. To say I was disappointed is really an understatement. We were in and out in less than an hour for a special occasion dinner. Synopsis: Atmosphere: 10/10 Music: 10/10 Hostess: 10/10 Server: 4/10 (never even acknowledged our special occasion) Specialty Drink: 2/10 Food: 2/10 I really wanted to live this place, but definitely didn't.
