I Asked about Happy hour, doesn't start till 8pm. I ordered a burger on a gluten free bun, pretty good. Fries were amazing, but the music they were playing was offensive. Shake your a**, you Gid da$#ed mother fu#@ing Ni&ger. I am no prude. I used to be a bar manager. But know your audience. I haven't been to The Point since the year they opened so when I visited this time, I had it in my head that the food would be the same or similar in quality. It was pretty good, even with the order mixup (chicken fried chicken turned out to be beef and so my partner had to wait another 20 mins for the correction). I feel like the same menu items taste better at sister restaurant The Bridge. I miss the rosemary aioli for the the fries (that's how long ago i used to frequent The Bridge lol). It was strange having to order food at the bar when there's so much seating, but I understand it's probably due to staffing issues. Would have been nice to be able to speak to a server so I could ask more questions about the food. I guess you can love two sister restaurant. I go to the bridge a lot as it's closer to where I live but came by the point the other days with some friend for a quick lunch break in between tattoo appointments. We were originally just going to get a drink but decided on food as well. The menu here has more choices to choose from. My friend ordered the Thai basil wings and the other one got the smoked Gouda Mac and cheese. I ordered the chicken waffle slider thinking it was going to be little. Ha, it wasn't but that's okay as I really enjoyed the sliders. I also tried some of my friends Thai basil wings and lemme tell ya, they were so good! More on the sweeter side but it's still really yummy. Oh and the awesome bartenders helping us were great! I'll have to remember to come here whenever I'm around bothering my friends. read more

Ordered a bunch of stuff, American Kobe burger, 1/2 Caesar salad (with mushrooms that never came), fry "bar" with inventive dipping sauces, and the spinach artichoke dip. Everything was ok. And price was very reasonable. It was interesting that they put a char on the sliced tomato for the burger, but nobody needs a mushy tomato. Also, the Caesar salad was WAYYY overdressed. I've been here many times now and I have to say, food and service have always been consistent. Restrooms are always clean and staff are friendly and totally chill. Currently, the way you order is to get yourself seated at whatever table is available. Scan the QR code for the menu. Then walk to the bar counter to place your order for food and drink. Get your drink and then go back to your table to wait for the food. You'll pay at the bar counter as well if you don't want to keep an open tab. It's nice and easy in my opinion because once I'm done eating, I just get up and leave. No need to wait to flag down a server. This time, I went with breakfast for dinner - chicken fried steak! It was bomb! The steak was thick, juicy, and flavorful. The batter used was not overly greasy - just enough crunchiness even with the abundant and creamy meat gravy! Eggs were cooked just the way I like it - over medium! Potatoes were yum! Also went with their cheese curds - always a hit. I Love dipping those curds in their strawberry sauce. I don't know why they go sooo well together but they just do! And as always, I had their Three Tree Paloma drink. It's served in a large glass with a good portion of tequila! Very nice sitting at the bar experience. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. The decor is quite nice for a sports bar. It was not crowded for Saturday brunch when I arrived. There were plenty of bar stools and even tables available. They have a variety of microbrew style beers on tap, and even one 'The Point' branded pilsner which I had and it was very good. And of course, a full bar. My friends and followers here know I like IPAs, so they might be thinking, "Why didn't you have an IPA Tony". Because I always like to try the house brews and this was the only one. Besides, it was a lighter APV than an IPA and it was still early and I had work to do at home. OK, More than you wanted to know. Yes I can ramble when given a free forum like Yelp. :) The food: I had the Eggs benedict. The eggs were poached perfectly. Runny but not raw. Instead of an english muffin, it is served on biscuits. Apparently they are known for these and I see some of the other reviews call them out. I myself am not a biscuit man, but will defer to those more knowledgeable in this category than I. The hollandaise sauce was also VERY good, and I wish there had been more of it on the dish. It was also served with roasted potatoes. Which were, like...roasted potatoes! Great friendly service, good delicious food, variety of beers on draft, and a surprisingly nice atmosphere. And for those reasons, I am awarding the Big Five. Congratulations to The Point. Keep up the good work! My wife and I came here while starving and seeking a dog friendly bar as we happened to have our dog with us in this part of town. Dogs are allowed on the patio. From our experience, the Point is above average in my opinion. First, the service was amazing. The bartenders were attentive and did an amazing job going out of their way to accommodate us. If we were eating service alone, this place would receive 5 stars. Second, the space itself is pretty cool. Inside they've got a lot of seating, and the small front patio offers space for dogs. The food takes a star away for me. My wife had the chicken fried chicken, and this is a dish everyone should eat. I wish I ordered it too. It is that good. That said, we also ordered the spinach artichoke dip and I ordered a Mac and cheese dish for my entree. The spinach and artichoke dip should be avoided if you're from the south. It is not what you're looking for, it just lacks flavor. The mac and cheese also lacks flavor. It's not bad, but it's just OK. Again, the chicken friend chicken is absolutely amazing, and my wife was apparently the first to try it - it was bomb and I ate a third of it thanks to her kindness. For my draft beer snobs, the lines are OK. They either need to clean the lines or change the kegs more frequently or both. That said, the draft beer is tolerable. For the non-snobs, the draft beer is going to taste great! Overall, I'd highly recommend The Point. I really enjoyed the service, the drinks were OK, the food is average to above average, and the space looks pretty cool for a night out. read more

Wagyu beef is a yummy and little sweet taste bcz bacon jam, good combination of burger. Lamb Burger New Zealand lamb patty, seasoned with onions, garlic and cream cheese, with a mint black pepper cream sauce, feta, lettuce, pickles and tomato It was a pretty good too Cheesy Spinach & Artichoke Dip Creamy spinach and artichoke dip served hot and topped with parmesan cheese. The food here is phenomenal and it's a great atmosphere. It's similar to a traditional bar where you order everything from the bartenders and there is one person out delivering food and bussing tables. The night we went, Sam was out in the lobby and was able to help us with the menu. He was extremely personable and gave us great recommendations, followed up, and checked-in on us. Needless to say, we will be going back. The games provide plenty to do and we even saw Jell-O shots available. Popped in on a Friday evening for drinks. We arrived around 9:00, just as the Sounders game was wrapping up, so the place cleared out pretty quickly. Bartender was great and served us with kindness right up until closing time. Cocktails were around $15 each... so pretty typical for the area. Tons of TVs, and a good place to watch games. My friend and I met here for brunch and we had such a great time! It was steady busy but we were able to find a table right away and the service was great. The food was delicious and comforting; just what we needed. I ordered the sausage and potato hash and the banana bread French toast. I was pleasantly surprised to see cheese curds on the menu, and though it was a little early in the morning, I couldn't pass them up either. I enjoyed each dish. The hash was savory and filling, the French toast was sweet and warm (with a great banana flavor), the cheese curds were lightly fried and the jam accompaniment was the perfect dip to contrast the saltiness of the curds. Been here twice in the last month... solid. Service has been really good! Call to check on the menu if you plan to show up on a Holiday... we rolled in on New Year's Day, and they had a special, limited menu. Which meant the wife couldn't try the Fried Green Tomatoes until our second trip. Some of the menu items are a little pricey (Pork Verde Sliders), but for the most part, we really enjoyed the food. It was also great that there are no kids allowed!! I really enjoyed one of their wintry libations, a Hot Butta' Rum! And the Chicken Waffle Sliders were great. My wife enjoyed the Steak Bites with a chimmichurri sauce, but I can't find them on the menu anymore. Cool place, good drinks, good food (when what you want is available) and great service. They did not have bottomless mimosas over the summer (weekend), so we ended up getting bloody marys and other types of drinks instead for brunch. Brunch is a pretty good portion, food is a tad salty depending on the dishes you order, but you always get decently cooked proteins and sides. Servers aren't the quickest to get to you, but are always around and quick to get you what you need when you ask. In my opinion, service is nicer at night when it's time for drinks! We always roll in a little later than the typical customer, but they always try to squeeze in food orders for us and are quick with drink orders. They always check in for refills which I love! They do kick you out a little early, but we're always the last one to be there on a weeknight so it's completely understandable. Deals on drinks! And food isn't half bad. Worth a try! 21+ only! Nice sports bar in Burien. Very roomy space with bar seating and tables and booths and a lot of TVs in every direction. They have a nice, large menu and a brunch. The bloody Marys are delicious, they have a nice selection on tap, and a whole wide liquor selection for mixed. The staff is friendly and attentive even during busy game times. The restaurant is located in a business area with a lot of other store fronts, so there is street parking up and down both sides for blocks. The cheese curds and the chicken caprese sliders were the absolute best (so good I didn't even take a photo). I love chicken and waffles so was surprised they weren't the favorite. I had the steak bites with a delicious steak sauce that was also perfect for fry dipping. I had my usual caesar salad that was topped with the best crunchy croutons (my fave!). To finish, I had mahi mahi street tacos with spicy coleslaw and avocados. I am not one for spicy and it was really spicy, but I still enjoyed it. It was really good despite the spiciness. I couldn't finish everything so luckily I have leftovers for tomorrow! Accessibility: This restaurant is accessible, but there is limited seating that is not a booth or high table seating. Most of the low tables are in the very back of the restaurant. The chairs do not have arms, so no worries there. Trying to find a central location from Seattle to Tacoma, my friends picked here to meet. Traditionally I have found 152nd St in Burien hosts cute shops and restaurants mostly that are small businesses. Previously to being the Point this once was a familiar Irish pub. The restaurant kept its outdoor seating which is a plus and has nice window seating that opens up to the patio area. Inside there appears to be changes offering an industrial feel. Loved the bathroom area! Cool designs, yes, I do check out as much of a space in a shop as I can! Brunch menu offered a pitcher of mimosas and a variety of cocktails to choose from. Using my "yelp homework" I decided to order the chicken and waffle sandwich. Nothing spectacular that would make me decide this was a MUST dish to come back to or order again. Just needed some vinegar or tanginess. The waffles, eggs and bacon was reasonably priced at under $9. But the eggs were medium when I asked for hard, the bacon was surprisingly flavorless (how is it possible to have bacon with no smokiness, no saltiness, no flavor?), and the waffles were just too heavy. I do come occasionally in the spring and summer but I am here as much as I can during football season. Very friendly staff, great drinks and even better food. If there's a Sunday game at 10 or even 1, I come and have brunch and bring my Sunday paper until the start of the game. Their eggs benedict are to die for and they make their own buttermilk biscuits with fresh cracked pepper. Quesadillas are the bomb I usually get them with portobello mushrooms but the best thing in the house are the fried cheese curds. I'm addicted! I always get them with the strawberry jalapeno jam and they are...well, I have no words so you're just going to have to try them yourself. It was corn tortilla as opposed to the usual flour tortilla that I like, but it felt like something was missing. Needed more flavor or a sauce to seal the deal. Garlic parmesan fries - just basic as expected. I didn't expect it to be like at-the-Mariners'-game-type deal but it was good drinking food to munch on. My friend got the ghost pepper ranch and even though it was tasty, it was too spicy for me (I'm weak I know lol) Also asked the waiter to have the bartender make me something fruity for a cocktail. I usually say that at every establishment I go to because I never know what they put in it. Mines was just fruity, I rarely tasted any alcohol and usually I'd down my drink and feel buzzed but I felt normal. The steak bites are good, not sure about the balsamic/vinegary after taste but still good. The chicken waffle sliders are good - I think they should be served with the strawberry jalapeño jam on the side! Bar has an almost steampunk feel, great place to watch a game. Being from Las Vegas, it is a struggle between expectations of grandeur (just kidding) and the love of a "hole-in-the-wall" when it comes to finding pubs outside of the "Entertainment Capital of the World". Having said that, when I travel for work, which is often, I always try to find a great local spot to grab some sustenance and catch the rest of the NFL or NHL games (depending on the time of the year). In this case I made my way into The Point in Burien, near SeaTac airport. I couldn't have made a better decision. My "grumbling tumbly" was craving some local IPA and a burger worth writing about, and MAN, did I hit the mark here. The Point is in a quaint spot in the main street-esque 152nd street and could not have been a better spot. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by an amazingly friendly staff who beckon you in with the wafting aroma of hops, wings and grilled meats. I chose a spot at the bar and was immediately greeted by friendly bartenders and fellow patrons, who made it clear that I chose the right place for a great meal, great conversation and epic dining! I chose "The Point Burger", which came stacked with delicious pickled onions, cherry peppers and their own "Point Sauce". I chose to go with the beer-battered fries and an extra habanero dipping sauce, which was absolutely spot-on for those who like a little spice in their lives. I could not be happier with my choice. The burger was absolutely perfect in preparation, flavor and juiciness. The bun was flakey and delicious. The fries were crispy, plentiful and DELICIOUS! For those like me who love a plethora of brews on-tap, and a variety of options (local and National), you can't go wrong here. I chose "Lucille", a juicy IPA that is all-day drinkable and not heavy at all. They have plenty of other options, whether you love a Saison or a Stout, they have a beer for you. They have plenty of specialty cocktails and a full bar if you are not a fan of the hops (and I am sorry for you). The prices are on-point, the crowd for games is excellent, and the staff are a joy to be around. The bottom line: I am a traveler who was looking for a fun spot to have a meal before getting to my work destination, and what I found was a friendly, delicious, local destination that I will absolutely be back to whenever I am back in the area. If you live here, you are foolish if you don't come to The Point for a meal, conversation and a Hawks game! read more
