My 5year old son has minor sensory issues and when it would come to lining him up around his ears…read moreand neck area, he would clench his shoulders up and not let them do it... And the time or two I did get him to relax, it would leave red marks and it got to the point where he was refusing to go. I called Edge of Colors and explained what had happened in the past at a different salon and she took the time to talk with me and say that for some people their skin can react that way... but that Mike was experienced with cutting children's hair. So we scheduled an appt for the same day- So glad I did because it went incredibly! He was patient with my son, talked him through when he got scared and was super playful and fun. And surprisingly there was no red marks. My son loved the hair cut and said he wants to go there every time he needs his hair cut now. Total win for me as his mom, because I don't have to deal with meltdowns, bribery, consequences or anything now lol. Super appreciative for the time and quality of experience
