Super tasty quality food, I noticed that on the menu it even tells you which farm the meat came from, or where the ice cream was made etc. The Greek Lamb and the Gammon are both brilliant. The portions are huge and I'm always left with enough food for another meal but save room for the Holly Bush sundae because you wont ever have a such a selection of tasty locally made ice cream :) The prices are great too, last time I went it was around 30quid for the 2 of us.

Extensive menu with lots to choose from I've had the mushroom stroganoff and the scampi respectively on our visits the chips are chunky and deliciously cooked. Portion sizes are deceptively large so you'll have to be mindful when you order as the puddings are worth leaving room for. Being an expert on these things, I'd heartily recommend the chocolate and guinness cake over the chocolate fudge cake much richer and gooier without the sickly sweetness. I'm going to have to google the recipe Nicely decorated, friendly staff, clean loos and reasonably priced good quality food what more could you ask? What's that you say? My Ripeye was perfect and the wedges of iceberg lettuce even worked. The staff were also very friendly. The only minor gripe came from a couple in the group who found the rump steak a bit tough. It got the thumbs up from the other 12 people though.

It isnt too cheap but the quality is definately what you pay for, the steaks are fantastic and they really do know how to cook them. Nice place to go for a birthdya meal or something, never been when its particualy busy but i imagine it can be quite popular. the restaurant is always kept clean and tidy. nice place to go to eat

The steak is delicious, and always cooked to exactly the specifications you require. Even the salads are good! Drinks are a little expensive, but given the range, and the quality of food for reasonable prices this is ok. Due to its location wouldnt really make a drinking pub, but is an excelent location to head to for a a meal

With the grill opening out onto the main restuarant area as soon as you walk in your stomach is starting to grumble! Although i don't eat steak even i thought that some of the steak dishes smelt nice, and lookng at my boyfriends, it did look very very nice. The chicken dishes that i have tried have both been delicious, served with very nice seasoned fries, although i'm not sure why they have to be served in a weird paper serviette which just gets in the way. Service is a little slow but the turnover of customers is very high so it spreferable to have to wait a little longer rather than have a dirty table. Makes for a very nice night out

You are made to feel very welcome and can tell it's a family ran pub, that gives that "local pub" feel. To eat we had a beautiful salad with goat cheese, liver and onions with an amazing bacon mash, sirloin steak and an incredible looking and tasting steak and kidney pie.
