I love Harry's. They have a fabulous Santa Fe salad. It's hard to find a good salad sometimes…read more Really, all of the salads are good at Harry's and they have good healthy low carb options. It's fun to look at all the stuff they have on the walls and their cool lights.

So good I had to hit it twice. Steak, Mashed Potatoes, Greened Beans. What more can you ask for…read more Looks like a dive bar from the outside - there is outdoor seating that's looks like nice I came here to devour and devour I did. It tastes even better than it looks. I don't care if they scraped this steak off the side of 96, this meat can come in mouth whenever it wants. I love to order this while I drink beer, I fantasize that I am a middle aged blue collar man with a wife who loves me and a son who despises me - I drink in front of of the TV and yell at my son to join the football team or else he's going to end up like me - a failure who could've gone to nationals if it weren't for that injury. Anyways, the juiciness of the meat has been consistent, the smooth potato and savory gravy is such a treat. The green beans, well they're beans. Can't really mess up Gbees unless you're from the victorian ages or something. I would love to try more on the menu but I do have a fear of trying new things after things have been too perfect... something is bound to go wrong. But Harry has not. So try something new this week and let Harry have his way with you!!

If you're big into mixed drinks this is your place. This is mine and my husband's favorite date…read morespot. We love getting a good cocktail and listening to live music. Dockum has both great cocktails, and great entertainment. I really like the atmosphere here every single time. It's dim, it's romantic, it's lively. Our waitress every time has been the same girl and she's fabulous and attentive. Her name is Elvia, shoutout to her! We have our favorite drinks here, but always try something new each time. Never had a bad drink here. Our favorites are: The Last Word, Dizzy Dame, Cinder and Smoke. You can't go wrong with anything you order honestly. We could sit here for a few hours. It's also a speakeasy. It's under ground, you have to knock to get in. Overall it's just a cool vibe for something downtown in Wichita. It is my favorite spot to go. If you are in town visiting or a local, I recommend this place 1000%.

When our waitress came by, we told her it was our first visit and that we needed a little time with the menu. We ordered drinks, but they came out at odd times--two arrived quickly, while the other two took noticeably longer. My husband ordered a Bijou, which is a unique cocktail, and it seemed to take a while for the bar to figure out how to make it. Still, the drinks were good once they arrived. For food, we tried the burnt ends and the JoJos. The JoJos were excellent--crispy and flavorful--but the burnt ends were disappointing, served a bit cold and lacking in flavor. Things really unraveled with our second round of drinks. Service slowed to a crawl, and we eventually learned that our waitress had been sent home by the manager even though the bar was packed on a Friday night. A young server, only two weeks into the job, was left to take over, and unfortunately, he had no idea what he was doing. Another waitress stopped by to help but admitted she usually works upstairs in the restaurant and didn't know the cocktail menu either. The shift in service quality from the first round of drinks to the second was very jarring. There was live music, but the sound system wasn't great, so it didn't add much to the atmosphere. We did order desserts from the upstairs restaurant, which were a nice finish, but by the end of the night it was clear the staff was overwhelmed. As we left, we even saw the manager outside looking exhausted, which made us feel bad for the whole team. Overall, while the drinks were solid and the JoJos worth trying, the experience was inconsistent and stressful. Maybe we just got caught up in an off night of drama, but I wouldn't recommend Dockum for more than one drink.
