Unfortunately, we experienced really poor customer service. 1 star because my husband enjoyed his pulled pork sliders.

We had the absolute best day at Cider Hill Farm! If you are looking for the ultimate New England…read morefarm day, this is it. We did it all--apple and peach picking, and we even got to cut our own beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers. The Sandwich Shop and Farm Store: We stopped by the sandwich shop for lunch and the food was incredible. We opted for the Apple Turkey Sandwich and it was easily a 10/10--the perfect seasonal bite. The farm market itself is a dream and has absolutely everything you could want. We stocked up on warm cider donuts (absolute heaven) Local honey and fresh apple cider, Homemade jams & farm pies. The Experience: The orchards are beautiful, clean, and loaded with perfect fruit. Ending the afternoon in the flower fields cutting our own colorful blooms was the perfect finishing touch. Friendly staff, amazing atmosphere, and delicious treats. 5 stars all the way!

Came here for the strawberry festival and it was a really nice farm outing. U-pick quarts were $11…read moreand very much worth it for the sweet and juicy strawberries. They had a tractor that took you up the hill to some newly opened patches, but the line was long. We opted for the patches within close walking distance that still had a lot of strawberries. There's plenty of things to do for both adults and children. A fun obstacle course, giant sandbox, tire swings, and chicken feeding for kids. Hard cider, live music, a couple food carts, a mini craft pop-up and farm market/bakery for adults. There was also a strawberry shortcake and fresh cider donut stand. The pulled pork from the PitchFork food cart was plentiful and affordable. Lots of seating with umbrellas and it never felt super crowded. Parking across the street was easy. Only comment is wayfinding signage for the U-pick could be improved. More festivals like pollinator and cherry will be in the coming weeks, and we'd definitely return. We went to the beach afterwards (~15 mins) to take full advantage of the beautiful day.

I first reviewed this Dairy Queen back in July 2014, when it was still cash-only. A lot has changed…read moresince then, and in a good way. They now accept multiple forms of payment, which makes a huge difference because most people don't carry cash anymore. Being able to tap or swipe a card here has definitely improved the overall experience. This location is truly seasonal. They open in early April and close at the end of October, and on a warm day, you will see steady lines of people stopping in for a cone, sundae, Blizzard, or quick treat. Everything is served outdoors, and the parking lot is large enough that you rarely have trouble finding a spot. My go-to order has always been the classic vanilla cone dipped in chocolate. They make it well, and it's consistently good. They offer doggie bowls, too, which is a nice touch, though the portion size is small for the price. In general, the prices here run a little high, and the amount of ice cream you receive can vary depending on who is serving. When management is on site, you can sometimes tell the portions are more controlled. Still, the staff is always friendly and the service is quick. This DQ doesn't sell hot food, but if you're looking for soft serve, sundaes, Blizzards, or frozen treats, it's a convenient and reliable stop in Salisbury. The updated payment options, friendly employees, and easy parking make it worth coming back each season. A solid four stars, mainly because of the price and quantity inconsistencies, but overall it's a great place to grab a simple ice cream treat on the North Shore.
