Look at his double chin now lol. My poor baby.

I used to go to Pink Paws three years ago with my previous dog and tried it again yesterday for my new puppy. This place has changed drastically. The owner is as sweet as can be, still, though which is why I left an extra star. However, Baileys cut is horrible and it took them from 10 am - 5:45 pm to complete it. They claimed that he had 2 hours worth of matting that needed to be combed out which is hard to believe since I dropped him off with very little matting and no other groomer has had this issue with him in the past. Even if so, 2 hours does not equate for the total 8 hours they took on him. His feet are both completely uneven. His face now looks like he has a double chin. I specifically asked them to make sure his faces cut transitioned with his body. I do not recommend this place and will not be going back.

I have been using this groomer for a long time. The owner is very nice. The groomer however butchered my dogs stomach last week and hasn't followed up to check on him after the owner gave me a gel to sooth his pain last week. My dog has been in pain and completely miserable for a week now. I suggested that they should give a refund and return my tip for the botched job but it hasn't been offered. I will not be using Pink Pet Paws spa in the future.

They do a great job here. This is the first and only groomer that I've been where they listen to what you actually want and do it. I've tried a lot of groomers in the 6 years that I've had my Yorkie. They aren't close to my house and they cost a little more, but you have to pay for what you want. Try then and you won't be disappointed. Mayce's Mom

This is probably my favorite groomer to take my dog to. They are a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it. It tends to take a while to get an appointment and sometimes they have surprise charges. The first time I took my dog here he had long hair and many knots and mattes and was charged $60 something, when I took him again he had shorter hair and no mattes but was charged around $90 "because he was dirty". I didn't know I was supposed to clean my dog before I take him to get groomed where he gets a bath...

Pink paws always do a good job with our little Angel. She can be a handful at times but they've been patient and and handled her with TLC. Thanks a bunch!

After I reached out, the manager took the time to thoroughly investigate the issues I raised, review the phone calls, and discuss what happened with the staff. Most importantly, they took accountability for the communication breakdowns and acknowledged where things could have been handled better. My biggest concern was the grooming service, and management offered a refund for the grooming, which I felt was a fair resolution. While I was disappointed with several aspects of my dogs' stay, I do appreciate a business that listens to customer feedback, conducts proper due diligence, and works to make things right. For that reason, I have updated my rating from my original review and increased it to four stars. While there is still room for improvement in communication and execution, I appreciate the professionalism shown by management in addressing my concerns and their willingness to stand behind their services. Before resolving: I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Meadowlake Pet Resort and will not be returning. Before my dogs' stay, I called a week in advance to provide updated feeding instructions and grooming requests. I specifically requested that both dogs be groomed on Monday morning and that I be called immediately afterward. Instead, they were groomed on Sunday without my knowledge, and I never received a call. By 2:00 PM on Monday, I had to call myself to find out what was going on. What frustrates me most is that my dogs were apparently groomed and bathed only to be placed back into a boarding environment afterward. To make matters worse, they were not taken out for playtime on both Sunday and Monday, despite the fact that I paid for two play sessions. As a result, they spent unnecessary time confined when I was paying for additional services. When I picked them up, they smelled bad enough that I had to bathe them myself after returning home from my wedding and travel. Having to re-bathe dogs that were supposedly just groomed is unacceptable. I was also disappointed that the boarding location I specifically requested and was told would be available was not where my dogs were actually housed. Had I known that request would not be honored, I would have appreciated honest communication. Additionally, I paid for the Hotel Plus package, but based on my experience, I am not convinced my dogs received all of the services included. I was under the impression that photos were part of the package, yet I never received any updates or pictures during their stay. The grooming itself was also disappointing. The haircut looked as though only a few hairs were trimmed. Both dogs still had long coats despite the Texas heat, and nobody contacted me to discuss how I wanted them styled. When I expressed concerns and requested that they be re-bathed, I was told I would have to pay additional charges. What stands out most is the lack of communication. When I called the week before, there was no issue making note of feeding instructions because they involved an additional charge. However, there seemed to be very little effort made to communicate about grooming changes, boarding arrangements, playtime, or any concerns that arose during the stay. Overall, I feel I was overcharged for services that were either not performed as requested or not performed to an acceptable standard. This experience was frustrating, disappointing, and not worth the premium price paid. Unfortunately, I will not be bringing my dogs back.

They have a small outside area for play two large inside areas for indoor play, one for small and large dogs. I was also told they have a puppy play area upstairs for young pups who aren't completely vaccinated yet, which is so nice. I came with my dog for corgi meetup day. I had to sign a waiver before going in. They had the pools out, balls, toys, for the dogs to enjoy outside. My dog was the first to jump in the pool and had lots of zoomies outside. He got a little hot so we decided to come inside for indoor play. One of the employees told me during normal hours that they actually have a policy established for the dogs to be inside for indoor play if it's above triple digit temperatures. I thought that was awesome since it's been incredibly hot outside. Indoor play had balls, tunnels, lil ramps and bridges to climb on. I thought this was a great place for your dog to play and stay with great helpful employees.

I chose this…read moregrooming salon based on positive reviews and drove 30 minutes to get there -- unfortunately, it turned out to be a very upsetting visit. I specifically asked to keep the long hair on my dog's back, which we had been growing out for 6 months. But instead, they shaved it completely. Even worse, they left mats behind the ears, under the chin, and on the belly. When I kindly asked them to remove the mats, the receptionist responded loudly that it would "change the dog's haircut." Seriously? I believe removing mats should be standard grooming procedure -- and if there's an issue, the professional thing to do would be to call the owner or explain. Instead, they just left them and said it would "ruin the style." Meanwhile, the haircut was already nothing like what I requested. Now I have to take my pup to another groomer to fix what they ignored -- and even they were surprised mats were left behind. Sorry, but this is not how responsible pet care should be handled. I'm really disappointed.

I provided a reference photo, and while it wasn't exact, it was still very well done. Other pros: - reasonably priced. I paid almost $65 for my small dog. - very clean and not super loud. Some places, like the previous owners of this location, did not maintain the premises. It would be noisy and smelly, and the AC would be left off. I love what the new owners did with this place! My shih tzu often gets very nervous about going to the groomers but here, she was not shaking at all.

I've been bringing my dogs here for years first my late dog, and now my current miniature schnauzer. If you look back at my previous review photos, you'll see the PERFECT schnauzer cut they used to do. Consistent. Professional. Distinguished little gentleman energy. Recently though, scheduling became nearly impossible. Every conversation sounded like: "Let me confirm if our groomer is actually working that day..." After weeks of trying to coordinate schedules, my schnauzer's hair got longer than ever. He loves wearing shirts, so yes, he had some matting. I paid extra for de-matting and gave very clear instructions: shave the skirt, but keep a full beard along with his chest and paws fluffy. Y'all... when I picked him up, I genuinely did not recognize my own dog. He walked in looking like a miniature schnauzer and walked out looking like a scrappy chihuahua named Peanut. They shaved EVERYTHING. His entire body, his face, even his whiskers. HIS WHISKERS. WTF. I know hair grows back and thankfully it's summer, but I honestly felt bad for him. As someone with longer hair myself, if somebody sat me down and buzzed me to the skin without warning, I'd probably need emotional support and a hoodie for a month. My dog still seems happy and unbothered, but I'm traumatized enough for both of us. After years of loyalty, this was incredibly disappointing and totally unacceptable. We will never come back..
