I was told it would be all good... I was not. When I showed up I should've known... I showed up 4 minutes early then was told to walk my dog on the grass (so the "grass" was in between the parking lot isles which had glass) but I had trust they'd be nice then they plopped him in a crate while yelling to get a leash. I was like how do they have 155 reviews at 4.7. It must be for a good reason right?! As I went to my car a grandma was dropping off a dog at the same time so it made me feel better. When I picked him up...He then said "half his eyelashes were cut"!! As a dog mom I thought okay maybe he moved? Then when their only payment is cash or Zelle (red flag/or supporting local) he mentions my dog scratched him and I lied about the size of my shih tzu. I pick up my dog and look at his front nails and they looked ok. I should've looked at the back. When I brought Chewie into my car to see his brother they are usually so excited... Chewie immediately ran underneath my car seat and didn't get out til the garage door closed while I parked...at my house. I was livid. Then they didn't mention they cut my dogs quick "because it happens a lot", but they did mention they cut Chewie's eyelashes. My dog was so scared I could not reach to pet him once. So I called the owner the story changed 4 times. Started with "he wanted to jump off...He jumped but we got him...Then he had the lead on and tried to jump..." then finally "he could never jump w the lead on." So who knows the story because their cameras don't work-I asked. He has been boarded for many vacations and groomed many times and never showed this behavior. While on the phone with the owner I asked to see the area they were bathed in..he said that was not possible. I just wanted to see how it could've differed from his previous groomers. I left my dog their for boarding last week.... and my dog ended up at the vet needing to get an IV a day after picking my dog up. My dog left normal and now she is not her normal self at all! she won't interact at all. I truly believe my dog was left there by herself with no one monitoring or watching after her. They don't even let you in to see what the place looks like. You try your best to support black owned businesses and stuff like this happens. Unfortunately one star is the least that I can put. My father in law were in need of a groomer, they came in hoping we could get my dog in for an appointment. Owner/groomer said they would groom him today, even without an appointment. Keep in mind this was at 11AM. They told my father in law to pick up our dog at 5PM (I was thinking to myself that's WAY too long to keep a dog to get groomed). We come at 5, THEY WERE CLOSED. They told us to come at 7PM instead. That's VERY suspicious. I'd also like to add when they asked what breed our dog was (he's a yorkie) they mentioned they had 3, but they're girls. We come back at 7 AND STILL CLOSED, no one in sight in the store. So we called and called, no one was picking up. We finally get an answer and we're just demanding to get our dog back. I don't care if he was half done or anything. I just wanted my dog, period. IT TOOK THE MAN 30 MINUTES TO BRING HIM OUT. Like what are you doing with him? I ended up calling the police, because no one was answering, no one was in the store, the store was closed, I still didn't have my dog. Like what else was I supposed to do? Leave my baby in there and not know what they're doing to him??!! They brought him out with the leash so tight you can hear my dog choking. :( I got so mad and told the man he was chocking him. I heard him talk under his breath saying he wasn't choking him. Booooy. You were a lucky man today, let me tell you. THEY DID NOT DO ANY WORK ON MY DOG. Didn't groom him, didn't bathe him, didn't cut his nails, FOR A WHOLE 8 HOURS. NOTHING. NADA. My dog smelt WORSE. I got the nastiest attitude from them. Jeremy and Charles or whatever their names were. They didn't even introduce themselves. So I'm convinced they were doing illegal breeding without our consent with their 3 girl yorkies with MY DOG. DISGUSTING. Owners should be ASHAMED of themselves. Horrible customer service, animal abusers, sexist, and utterly rude. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BABY HERE. I don't know how they have great reviews. The reviews did NOT disappoint. This was my first appointment here and will forever be a client. This place has excellent customer service, responds as soon as possible and accommodating to pet owners. Jeremy took great care of my sweet 4 year old pittie-lab pup and he came out smelling fresh and happy! Great first experience and reasonable prices compared to other businesses I've done business with. I'm glad to have finally found a groomer that I can trust and be a loyal customer to. This place was recommended by my stepmom she took her dog here and she said the service was great. My dog appointment was at 7 in the morning when I got there Jeremy was nice and respectful. I told him what I wanted he said he was going to call me 30 before being completed to let me know my dog was going to be ready for pickup. Picked up my dog around 10 Jeremy did everything I asked for of my dog. I asked him how my dog do during his appointment he looked at me while shaking his head and said he was nervous and wouldn't sit still at certain times. I let him know that it wasn't his first time getting groomed he was probably nervous because you are a new person to him. But didn't think anything of Jermey's head shaking. Thought I had found a good groomer everything was good until it wasn't. Later that day I notice my dog had blood spots in BOTH of his eyes. Now I am in a full panic attack I'm trying to figure out what happened. I drove to 3 different vet clinics and they were all closed. The next morning I was able to get a vet appointment and I take him. The nurse is asking all of the questions and I answer them. The doctor comes in to examine his eyes and states that he has popped blood vessels in his due to something being too tight around his neck and all I could think about is the groomers because he was just there. I called Jeremy and he didn't answer he called me back hours later. When he called me I informed him of what happened with my dog and he was confused about what dog I was talking about. So he finally figures out what dog I was talking about he goes on to say "oh that happens a lot to dogs, especially the ones that act like humans you should have just called me." LIKE WHAT?! Was so dismissive of what I said and was trying so hard to cover his ass on what happened and it made me even madder. I just thanked him for his service and let him know that we won't be returning as customers. He didn't try to give me a refund or offer to pay for my vet visit or anything. I am so grateful that I found this establishment. I own a Cane Corso that is a year old and 120lbs. He is a well trained home protection dog. He does well with everyone of my family members at home but when he gets around strangers he turns into a whole other dog when I board him. He becomes aggressive and will not submit to any other handlers besides me and my wife. Because of his behavior, every boarding/ lodging place that I've taken him to has refused to allow him to stay because they feel he is dangerous. Jeremy understands the breed and understands that they can be territorial and hard to deal with without the owner present. Jeremy is a great dog handler and is patient. I definitely will be bringing our dog back!!!!! read more

This grooming service came highly recommended by a friend of mine who is also a client of theirs. I drove from Rosharon for a 9am appointment. There was no direction of what to do upon arrival so naturally I walked in the building for my appointment. This was my first time at this business and I was greeted with unprofessionalism and abrasiveness from who I presume is the owner . Unfortunately, because of this I chose to not get my dog serviced and will not be returning to this business. I was really excited to support a fellow black owned business as they did come highly recommended, however, despite the affordable prices, customer service is key. We picked up Baily from a boarding & training at PetServices 6 weeks program. Bailey does as he's told. I think it's neat how he understands hand signals. We are able to walk Bailey with no leash for walks...he's not barking all the time from the crate, we've had no potty accidents since he's gotten home. We definitely recommend this kind of training . I had the worst experience here if I could put zero stars I would !!! I was going out of town for my mom bday and needed to board my two puppies for a couple of days. I called and the price was good and he seems very nice. I also figured while they're being boarded I should go ahead and groom them as well. He agreed and gave me my price and told me to drop my babies off on Saturday at 11 and pick them up Monday "by 11am" he specifically said " don't come too early tho like at 9am but closer to 11 will be cool. But if I'm there after 11 he will charge me an extra day!" I then ask him if I come at like 11:04 is that considered an extra day I just want to make sure I come at the right time because I will be coming in from Galveston. He said one or two minutes not a big deal but if I'm 10min or more it's an extra day charge. So fast forward to Monday I leave my mom beachhouse early to make sure I can pick up the babies before 11. I get there at 10:28am and when I get there he tells me my dogs are not ready (not groomed yet) and that I should come back in about 30-40 minutes later. Now he said he called me to give me a heads up but he called me 10 minutes before I got there and I was driving so I didn't pick up. But why would you wait that late to call me knowing you came in at the last minute to groom them! I was hella irritated because he told me not to be too late and not to be too early I come at 10:28 and my dogs not ready!!!! Then he was acting like I was tripping for being upset! Mind you he had my dogs since Saturday at 11am and it's now Monday why would you wait to the very last second to groom my dogs and not have them ready for pickup on YOUR stricked time table. He had my dogs for two whole days and didn't groom them until right before 11. I was upset but was like ok I was hungry from driving straight there and not getting breakfast so I went to go get some food and was like I will just get them when I get done eating while getting my food like 25 mins later he calls saying they are ready. I told him ok thanks I'm eating and when I'm done I will be there. He then tells me i will be charged the extra day for not picking up on time. I lost my mind at that point I was almost 30mins early to pick them up and he didn't have them ready and groomed after having them for two days and now after he makes me wait now he don't want to wait for me to finish eating and wants to change me an extra day ohhh no I went off and he quickly said don't worry ma'am just come get them as fast as you can don't worry about the extra charge (I wasn't paying extra anyway and was prepared to call police if he held my dogs hostage over the extra fee) So I didn't even eat, I left the restaurant and went back to go get my dogs he gave them to me with no issues my dogs were not groomed neat it look like they got cut with kitchen scissors and then when I got home I fed my dogs and they acted like they were starving. It's almost like he left them in that kennel unattended to the entire time. It seems as if he only go up there on a need to basis which is why he waited to the very last second to groom them after having them 2 days and was so pressed for me to come pick them up stating to me " I have other things to do" I call myself trying to support a black business in my hometown but my experience was trash and the first time I went to him I didn't like the experience but I was like maybe it was just that one time but now I see it's the way he handles business it was very unprofessional in my opinion and I will never go there again or recommend anyone else to go. Like how you say come at 11 but don't come too early like 9 and then I get there at 10:28 and dogs not ready you then tell me come back later and when I try to come after eating you say you will charge me an extra day like how do you even fix your mouth to say that when I originally came on time but YOU wasn't ready from grooming dogs you've had for two days ‍ y'all be careful here! read more
