About to depart this wonderful B&B, but wanted to take few minutes to give them an overdue review…read more I've stayed in four of the five guest rooms over at least eight different stays and can't recommend the Copper Beech highly enough. Owners Linda and Bill have created a lovely and calming atmosphere throughout this historic home. Classic and uncluttered, all the rooms are spotlessly clean and appointed with comfortable beds and well chosen simple decor. Certainly not the stereotypical lace, floral wallpapered and wall-to-wall dusty antique kind of B&B. Breakfast is always delicious, as are the frequent evening cookies left on the entry table for guests to enjoy at the end if the day. Will continue to make this our home-away-from-home when visiting our Bucknell student.

I can't believe this place doesn't have more glowing reviews. I was booked here by the university…read moreon a work-related trip and was pleasantly surprised. Bill and Linda were extremely welcoming and friendly. The home itself is beautiful and meticulously furnished. After a day of work-related travel, coming back to soft music, a glass of sherry, and chocolates was probably among the nicest travel experiences I've had. If you're curious about the history of the home, the rooms also feature a picture book with facts about the home and pictures of all the guest rooms. I enjoyed reading it over while having a glass of tea from the Keurig in the upstairs hallway. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip through Pennsylvania... and next time I might stay longer!

I was looking for a place to stay while visiting my daughter at Bucknell University in central PA…read more I happened to find this place while googling a vrbo-type place and found this fabulous place to stay. This is our 2nd weekend to stay at this lovely cottage (used to be a barn) which has wonderful sleeping accommodations for many people. It's like a large studio with a kitchen, desk, dining area, bathroom, living room and bedroom. There's a TV with Direct TV, a stereo system, a bookshelf with books, DVD's and CD's. If there are more than 2 people staying, the owners add a twin bed. There's also a futon and a sofa sleeper for 1. In speaking with the owner, she really wanted to make this place as comfortable as can be and has added many amenities to make your stay comfortable. The refrigerator has jam, butter, peanut butter, fruit, yogurt, granola, orange juice to get your morning started. She also provides guests with bread or muffins in the morning. Of course there is coffee or tea ready to brew. When you wake up in the morning, you open up the blinds to a beautiful yard which you can wander around and enjoy the arbor swing. I wish I had discovered this place sooner because it's a wonderful and relaxing place to stay.

My husband and I have stayed at The Barn on several occasions over the past nine months. This…read moreadorable cottage is quite spacious and airy. While essentially a single space, it is nicely divided into a separate bedroom area, a roomy living area and a comfortable kitchen. A large bathroom and a second bedroom complete the layout. The entire cottage is nicely decorated and is also very neat and clean. Both the bathroom and kitchen are well equipped and user friendly. A variety of snacks are provided. What also makes The Barn special is that it is definitely dog friendly. We always bring our small dog with us and he seems to enjoy the experience as much as we do. There is a basket of dog toys near the front door, dog treats are provided and two dog bowls are located in the kitchen area. Thus, both human and canine guests are warmly welcomed! Not only is the cottage itself a wonderful retreat but it is located on a beautiful piece of property that is very nicely landscaped and easily accessed. A well constructed concrete walk leads directly from the parking area to the front door. At the rear of the house, a sliding glass door opens onto the large backyard which slopes gently down to a beautiful meadow. Guests are invited to walk the property and we are always happy to do so. Despite the bucolic atmosphere, The Barn is very conveniently located. It is within a couple of miles of downtown Lewisburg, Bucknell University and a variety of stores and restaurants. Finally, the the owners, Tanya and Fred, are friendly, accommodating and clearly committed to providing their guests with a wonderful experience. I can honestly say that we've thoroughly enjoyed each visit and always look forward to our next stay. I wholeheartedly recommend The Barn at Pheasant Ridge to anyone visiting the Lewisburg area. The Barn and its owners are waiting to welcome you!

This is truly a beautiful and thoughtful hotel with so much attention to detail. From the spacious room to the provided clothing steamer, to the amazing breakfast buffet with ample seating, we appreciated so many hospitable touches during our stay. The fresh cookies and coffee/tea bar made us feel right at home. The staff here were also so pleasant--we did not need much customer service here, but we were pleased with the attention we received. The walls were a little thin and it was easy to hear our neighbors (granted, we know them and already know they are LOUD). I also wished I had more time to wander outside, as the outdoor patio looked delightful.

Each of the staff in the lobby were helpful, friendly and accommodating each day. The comfortableness of the lobby, meal area access throughout the day with fresh fruit, endless coffee/tea and fresh baked cookies each day was a perfect addition. We met Lisa, who worked in the breakfast area several days we were there and was extremely kind and helpful each morning. She made the experience of being a guest, an amazing event and grateful for her friendliness to my family. The rooms were clean, freshened up each day by request and the wonderful staff who cleaned our room were gracious and friendly each day too. 100% sure you should stay here! Don't make a mistake and stay somewhere else. You will not be disappointed.

Relatively quiet, except some hall noise from doors closing. No noise from outside. Plenty of parking. One of the other reviewers noted that it wasn't renovated... but then it wasn't beat up by the gas industry animals over the past few years either. Carpet, furniture, TV all in very good condition. Close to food, gas, and shopping. Staff is friendly, check in is quick. There are train tracks on the other side of US-15, but I haven't heard any train noise. Other amenities include a pool and gym.

I stopped at the front desk on arrival and the woman working was very kind and accommodating. She gave me a room key in case I had any issues with the digital key (which now showed it was working). They had cookies set out as well, which is always a nice welcome, along with free bottled water. I stayed in room 300 (digital key worked just fine). I prefer rooms at or near the end of hallways away from elevators. I ended up choosing the end of the hall that is closest to the main road so there was occasional street noise but it wasn't constant. The room is very clean - the bathroom looks like it was recently renovated...also very clean. They have all the amenities of a Hampton Inn - gym, free parking, free breakfast. It's my preferred chain for travel. This location has a pool as well so that's nice for families. I would definitely stay at this location again.
