Just finished my first three classes with three different instructors, all AMAZING! I think I found…read moremy new pilates home. I have been to so many studios and there is no comparison. This one is by far the best reformer pilates around.

I enrolled in eight classes per month for $250. Prior to my enrollment, I clearly communicated to…read morethe owner, Jennifer, that my work commitments in the northern area of New Jersey would make it challenging for me to attend classes regularly. She assured me that unused classes would roll over each month, which influenced my decision to sign up. I have consistently paid my monthly dues, and as expected, there have been instances where I could not attend, resulting in accrued classes. Recently, my membership was suspended because the management deemed it unethical to continue charging me while I was not attending. I conveyed to Donna, the manager I have not yet met, that I am willing to continue paying. However, their primary concern seems to be my accrued classes, for which I have already paid. They informed me that I would only regain access to my accrued classes if I re-enrolled, limiting my ability to utilize these classes to a specific timeframe. I find it highly unethical that I am required to sign up again to access my accrued classes (in a specific time frame), while my new membership will continue to accrue additional classes. This approach demonstrates a lack of respect for clients and prioritizes financial gain over customer satisfaction. The business practices at this pilates studio are subpar, with even former employees highlighting a lack of respect. While they offer standard pilates classes, there is nothing exceptional about the experience. Instructors frequently change without prior notification, and clients are often spoken to in a condescending manner. I would prefer to invest my $250 in a more professional studio.

I went to this pilates class yesterday in between work meetings as a new student at the studio and…read moreafter filling in some paperwork, we got right to it! Class seemed a little easy at first, though it was my first time doing Tower Pilates (I have Reformer Pilates experience). Little did I know what a KILLER the leg exercises would be!!!! I was struggling to keep up with the routine a little bit, but that is always an indicator of a good workout for me. The instructor was also extremely attentive, performing the different exercises with us and walking around the studio to correct form. It's a small, intimate space but I like that the mood lighting and heightened attention to students adds to the experience. If was a very clean, well thought out space as well! I personally attended the studio through classpass, so I can't comment on the regular pricing, but I believe my class was 13 credits for a beginner/foundations level Tower pilates class. (13 credits is a lot for one class but I'm on the free trial of Classpass, so again, no comment!) This studio is also located in Bell Labs, which makes for a nice atmosphere before and after the class to check out other places in the area. I'm glad i got the chance to try this studio out!

I found them on ClassPass and tried the 6:30 apparatus class last night. I'm in town from LA, where…read moreI have a TON of options, so I was a bit skeptical to try this (my first time at pilates was okay). This studio is huge, very clean, and yet intimate. The class wasn't easy, but I loved the challenge. Also, the small setting allowed the instructor to really focus on each of us so we could make the most of the workout. Since I split my time between the two coasts, I might continue using ClassPass to come here but I was really relieved to find a challenging workout in the area. Highly recommend!

How many of us remember a time when we were kids and we just ran outside and played? The freedom…read moreand joy it brought can now be found at The Club of Monroe. Having recently come here for an event, I was given the chance to get in on the pickleball craze. I must confess, I fully understand it now. Be forewarned...it's addictive! The complex is located between Perrineville Road and Route 33 in Monroe. It's a huge sports complex with ample parking. Jan was the person who greeted my husband and me at the pickleball desk. She was very friendly and patient, answering all our questions about membership. In case you're wondering where you can put your personal belongings, they have hangers and cubbyholes. If you're a member, you also have access to private lockers. They offer three membership options: Individual (basic), Individual Network (premium), and Individual Non-Member (free). As a non-member, you'll have a four-day booking window, and the pickleball court rate is $12 per hour, per player. Jan also took us on a full tour of the facility. It proudly hosts pickleball, padel, golf simulators, and tennis. Amenities include a courtside pickleball lounge, a private pickleball room, and a social lounge for padel and golf. Jan mentioned that they have another Club opening in Marlboro, which will feature a Recovery Center. As per Jan, "After playing, you can enjoy heat therapy and compression recovery to recharge, reduce stress, improve circulation, and support both physical and mental recovery." You can take lessons at this indoor sports complex or participate in open play. I would definitely recommend taking advantage of their free introduction to pickleball. And if you've got a competitive streak, you can also join one of their social or competitive leagues. A great place to relax, get moving, and have fun!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this massive indoor sporting mecca for a group event, and…read moreit completely exceeded expectations. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality stood out. I had the chance to meet the owner, Mike, and his wife, Erica. Both were wonderfully personable. Every staff member I interacted with was exceptionally friendly and patient. When my pickleball group was short a fourth player for the night, a staff member graciously stepped in so we could play proper doubles. The visit also gave me my first-ever introduction to padel. Having only seen it on YouTube, I never dreamed I'd actually get to hold a paddle left alone playing a game or two! The facility itself is top-notch. There are 10 well-spaced pickleball courts and 3 premium padel courts featuring impressive glass walls. Both court areas include dedicated breakout areas for resting, eating, or socializing. Add in 3 golf simulators, a putting green, cushy lounging areas, a ping pong table, and what appeared to be 2 versatile hybrid courts for tennis and pickleball (though surprisingly unadvertised), and you have a setup that exceeds every expectation. Thoughtfully designed, organized and super clean, this venue is not only a dream for its members and their guests, but also an ideal setup for special private events, corporate functions and team building.
