Just finished my first three classes with three different instructors, all AMAZING! I think I found…read moremy new pilates home. I have been to so many studios and there is no comparison. This one is by far the best reformer pilates around.

I enrolled in eight classes per month for $250. Prior to my enrollment, I clearly communicated to…read morethe owner, Jennifer, that my work commitments in the northern area of New Jersey would make it challenging for me to attend classes regularly. She assured me that unused classes would roll over each month, which influenced my decision to sign up. I have consistently paid my monthly dues, and as expected, there have been instances where I could not attend, resulting in accrued classes. Recently, my membership was suspended because the management deemed it unethical to continue charging me while I was not attending. I conveyed to Donna, the manager I have not yet met, that I am willing to continue paying. However, their primary concern seems to be my accrued classes, for which I have already paid. They informed me that I would only regain access to my accrued classes if I re-enrolled, limiting my ability to utilize these classes to a specific timeframe. I find it highly unethical that I am required to sign up again to access my accrued classes (in a specific time frame), while my new membership will continue to accrue additional classes. This approach demonstrates a lack of respect for clients and prioritizes financial gain over customer satisfaction. The business practices at this pilates studio are subpar, with even former employees highlighting a lack of respect. While they offer standard pilates classes, there is nothing exceptional about the experience. Instructors frequently change without prior notification, and clients are often spoken to in a condescending manner. I would prefer to invest my $250 in a more professional studio.

I drove by Yvette's for about 2 years before I decided to call for information. I wish I had made…read morethe call sooner. After discussing my goals and eating habits, work hours, etc., I was told Ellen would be a good fit for me as my trainer. Honestly, she is a blessing. I do a combination of strength training, cardio, and yoga. At 48 I did not realize how important stretching (that literally takes maybe 5 minutes) is for my body and how different I feel starting my day with a couple moves. I enter Yvette's with a willingness to work out and leave there feeling stronger, clearer, and just good. The cost is not astronomical, it's actually very fair. It's worth it. It's your body. The girls there are nothing but supportive. This is not a pretentious atmosphere. It is a place to get healthy, talk about what want to achieve, and having a workout that is suited for you. Give it a try, talk to the other girls who train there, you won't be disappointed. Did I mention there is a coffee/tea bar when you walk in? Perk!

I was introduced to my trainer Laurie Cocco. Laurie is the best person who ever walked into my life. She is not only my motivation, but also my friend. She pushes and encourages me just enough to give me confidence to want to do more. I have become physically and mentally stronger. No matter what is going on in my home life she accommodates me to make sure I get my work out done. When COVID hit we moved to working out via FaceTime. Yvette and Laurie dropped EVERYTHING I needed and I mean EVERYTHING at my doorstep. Through thick and thin, knee surgery, and COVID Laurie has worked to make sure I continue towards bettering my health. Trust me you will never find a better place to become a better stronger you.
