We found pic chick photography online and I fell in love with the style Ivy had. I emailed her and she contacted us immediately. Talking to her I felt comfortable. Her prices were the best around. We had engagement photos done as a last minute decision 2 weeks before the wedding. My husband is not a big fan of smiling but being with Ivy was like hanging out with an old friend. The Pic Chick is the absolute best! Ivy is a very gifted photographer. My fiancé found her online and we both knew she was going to be our wedding photographer right after the initial meeting. Ivy photographed my wedding in July and she did a great job. We booked her from out of state, so the first time I met her I was minutes away from getting married. This was not awkward at all, and she fit right in with my family. I barely noticed her at all during the day - which was a big fear of mine. I am not very comfortable in front of the camera and I didn't want to have her swarming the ceremony. She was unobtrusive when she needed to be and authoritative when she needed to get everyone set up for a shot. She was great working with the kids in the wedding. The booking process went very smoothly. Ivy was available for phone calls to discuss her packages, how the day would flow, and give her recommendations, all before we even booked! She was responsive to email and made me feel very comfortable about the process before the day. She called to check in a few days before hand to go over the flow of the day. The pictures she sent were simply lovely. They accurately document what happened that day which is what I really wanted. They are definitely in line with the work on her website. She found amazing light for pictures both indoors and out. She got some beautiful candids from before the ceremony, and some wonderful portraits. We received out pictures a few weeks after our ceremony and there were certainly enough to choose from! The one negative of my experience is that she didn't get as many shots of the guests at the ceremony and reception as I would have wanted.
