The work spans fashion, beauty, and product photography, with a particular focus on portfolio development for models and creative talent throughout Colorado. Robert brings an unusual background to the camera: 20 years as an entrepreneur, including running a marketing and design firm, before turning that same eye for detail and composition toward photography full-time in 2018. That history shows up in the work — a level of technical precision and retouching discipline that comes from years spent thinking about how images actually get used, not just how they look in isolation. Robert's photography has been featured in Westword, Modern Cowboy Magazine, and Fashion Week Online. He works closely with designers, models, and creative collaborators throughout the Denver fashion community, and every session is built around one goal: images that actually do the job they're meant for, whether that's a comp card, a campaign, or a portfolio a model is proud to send out.

I spent months looking for the perfect photographer that would enable us to take the beauty of Hawaii with us wherever we went next. When I found Stormy, I fell in love with her unique and beautiful style. I am a lover of candid photography and did not want the standard posed shots, instead I wanted shots that reflected our family: full of energy and fun. When I spoke to Stormy, she totally got what I wanted and was incredibly helpful and patient on the phone and by email with regards to location and choice of outfits, offering her suggestions and feedback. The actual session itself was such fun. Stormy was relaxed, professional and very patient with my very active children. She managed to keep up with them, which is impressive especially with a camera in hand! Stormy allowed my children to be themselves. They got dirty and wet and all the smiles she captured were genuine. I'm not sure there are many kids who enjoyed a photography session as much as this one! When I saw the images she captured for us, I burst into tears for Stormy totally captured the true essence of us. The images were everything I had dreamt of and more. They were perfect. The feedback we have had from family and friends has been amazing. Everyone loves the images and they will forever remind us of this beautiful island. Thank you, Stormy, for the memories.

I wasn't surprised when she started her photography business. She is wonderful to work with. She has clear ideas and tells you what those are, and she will work with you to capture exactly what you're wanting to capture, if not more! We had a blast trying to get a great action shot of my puppy playing at the lake. She'll go to great lengths to get the right shot, even if that means I'm running and jumping over her while she's snapping away on her camera to get my dog running. The pictures she took are amazing, and I was so happy to get to spend that kind of time with her. If I can attach some of the photos, I will. You can't go wrong with Donna Young Photography!

I will not hesitate to use her again for future shoots and recommend her to anyone looking!

She was terrible at giving directions (just turn, turn the other way, no the other way, move your hand, etc - entirely unclear) and would get mad at us when we didn't guess correctly what she meant. When we didn't pose the way she wanted, she would make sarcastic and snippy comments that made us all SO uncomfortable and made the whole shoot so awkward. And then she'd bark at you to smile! We did not get one single photo that we will ever use. I am so very sad and mad, not only that we wasted $500 but that we can't go back and get photos that we can actually use of my baby at this age again. We can never get that back. I would highly encourage you to think twice before hiring Christina if you have a baby - she absolutely does NOT know how to shoot babies. Or family groups. If you have any thoughts or opinions of your own whatsoever about what you want, she will not listen to you. When I told her what shots I wanted (which we had discussed over the phone and in email prior to the shoot) she yelled at me that she's the professional and basically I needed to shut up and do it her way because I don't know anything. I left the shoot in tears. It was truly awful. And surprise surprise, I've never seen less flattering photos of myself or my family in my entire life. There is literally not one single photo where you can see everyone's face and everyone has their eyes open! I truly believe she started taking bad photos intentionally after I didn't want to do one of her poses because even a non-professional photographer could capture at least one or two that were ok. Think twice before hiring her.
