    Summer Roll (2 Pcs)
    Zoe D.

My dad and I came here for a quick lunch after dropping my phone off at a nearby phone repair store. We were seated right away and immediately served water. There were two women working, and our waitress was very attentive. She came back to take our order, and the food was out in what seems like 10 minutes- very quick service! I was also impressed by how affordable the food was, considering the area. My dad and I shared the shrimp summer rolls, and I got the vermicelli with tofu and mushrooms. Every bite was super flavorful, and the sauce had a very subtle heat to it. It was delicious! My dad got the pork bahn mi, which he also enjoyed. I will definitely be back!

While it couldn't compare to the pho I get in the Bay Area, CA, it did serve its purpose of nourishing soup to soothe my stomachs on a long travel day. I did appreciate the spongy tofu variety to switch it up from the normal density Logistics: - indoor seating only - limited street parking nearby - the tofu+vegetable pho is made with beef broth, not sure if there is a true vegetarian pho

The service was good the space was clean and welcoming. I enjoyed my pho which was tasty. The duck roll was also very good. I want to try the sandwiches next time.

No frills viet restaurant with solid pho. We stopped in on a freezing cold weekend for lunch and were seated immediately. My partner and I both ordered the flank and brisket pho which came out so quickly (less than 5 minutes probably!) and piping hot. My favorite condiment for pho is lime and the slices they gave were really big, perfect for me. Staff were very efficient - just came around once to take our orders, drop off food, and we paid at the register. This is definitely a bare bones kind of place, great for when you want to duck in quickly for a hot bowl of soup.

Very fast service. Ordered the pho beef ball and it came in 3 minutes before I even got chopsticks, lime, and basil Generous portions too with a loooot of beef balls. Think most I've seen in a bowl of pho Admittedly tho the broth is pretty lacking in depth and complexity. It's like too much water was added to the broth and then served it. I added more hoisin sauce than I usual do to compensate. Flip side it was a little heavy on the cilantro.

The food would give this place a 5/5 with how delicious and reasonable priced it is, but the service was horrible. The cashier ladies rushed us to eat our food and I constantly had to ask for water, utensils, etc. because they didn't want to do their job. Very casual vibe.

    Grilled Chicken Banh Mi ($10.89)

My new favorite spot for Vietnamese in the midtown east area! I walked in and ordered a Grilled Chicken Banh Mi ($10.89) and asked for extra siracha sauce on the side. It came out pretty quick and was pretty good! There were plenty of tables to sit at and the pho looked delicious, but I took my banh mi to go. Will be back for the pho and more banh mi!

Tasty pho, cozy spot! When I got there it was almost empty. By the time I finished eating it was packed. Only one guy was doing everything. I had to wait 20 minutes for a to go bowl because of how busy he was. That's not easy.

Pretty average decent pho place in the area. Can't beat this in the area since there are barely any and the price for a meal in general is decent in the area. The classic pho bowl was like $17? The taste was good, the only reason for a lower review is because I'm biased to my local Brooklyn pho place that is cheaper and hits the spot each time but this is a decent option here in midtown/upper manhattan. However don't get the spring rolls, they are pretty small and definitely overpriced. Also pretty cozy private in crowded dining area was a plus

The staffs were friendly. The portion of pho is big! The special combo banh mi sandwiche is good and they were relatively quick with the service. Would recommend coming here! Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambience: 4/5

Absolutely Delish! For $20, you really get more than you paid for, and a large filling meal. Service was so fast, i had walked over from Park Avenue, ordered, got my food and walked back within 12 minutes! Great relaxed storefront with kind staff as well. Adding this to my Lunch Break list and will be returning!

In my eyes, $16 for the biggest bowl of pho you've ever seen is a great deal. We were served very quickly and had quality pho. Would definitely recommend this if you ever have a craving for Vietnamese food.

Veggie Pho & Banh Mi special

The veggie pho and the Banh Mi special were both amazing!! Staff were super nice. Would definitely recommend for a relaxed and easy dinner

This is in a ritzy part of town on 60th St between Madison Ave & Park Ave with Ferraris & Bentleys parked on the street, so you have to guess that the storefront rent must be astronomical. But oh, these gastronomical sandwiches are off the charts and can justify the price. Once you decipher the names of the sandwiches on the menu and see what's between the bread, you will want to try all of them. I settled on 2 finalists, but decided get both anyway. All sandwiches are made fresh with some of the best looking meats & ingredients I've ever seen! And what's better is that they bake all the focaccia for the sandwiches fresh and in-house. You see the bread oven right behind the register. I wonder if I could buy a slab of that bread? The L'Inferno brought images of Danté Alighieri's version of the Underworld to mind, but was a spicy hot masterpiece of sandwich art. The combination of thinly sliced roasted porchetta, nduja, spicy grilled eggplant & arugula was fantastic! The fresh baked focaccia took it even further. But I did learn something new today besides Italian pronunciation, which was that nduja (silent n) is a spicy sausage from Calabrese that's spreadable like butter. I gotta get me some of that stuff! The La Paradiso sounds like the third installment of Danté's Divine Comedy trilogy, but is a very mild, but tasty sandwich with mortadella, stracciatella & crushed pistachios in pistachio cream. The pistachio cream is a stroke of culinary genius and gives the sandwich an amazingly smooth texture & taste. The only part of the Divine Comedy missing from their menu is La Purgatorio and I do not want to find out what would go into that sandwich!

I got the La Paradiso which comes with Mortadella, stracciatella, pistachio cream, pistachio. The bread was fantastic. It was light, yet crispy and thin but thick enough that held everything together. The pistachio cream, cheese and meat ratio was just perfect. I honestly regret not downing 3 of these.

But it turned out to be a fantastic meal and fully satisfied my endless craving for well-made soup dumplings. The scallion pancakes were excellent, too, crispy without being greasy and packed with scallions. I had seen a lot of reviews praising the General Tso's chicken, but I've honestly avoided the Chinese-American dish for years. Too often it's overly sweet with a heavy batter. Still, after seeing plate after plate come out to nearby tables, I decided to give it a try. What a surprise. It was a huge portion of fresh white meat chicken with a light coating and a perfectly balanced sauce, served piping hot. We couldn't finish it (knowing we had a big dinner later), but I kept going back for "just one more piece" more times than I'd like to admit. Reservations aren't accepted for parties of two, but in the late afternoon it wasn't busy at all, we walked right in with no wait. Would absolutely come back.

I have three big guys with me and sometimes quick lunches need to be more filling than fast food options, so we chose Alidoro's under Rockefeller Plaza. We could walk to it form the hotel and it was in the middle off all we wanted to show the boys on their first day (first time) in the city. We all chose different sandwiches and they were ready pretty fast. Since the shop itself is not huge, we landed a small space at the window bar with two stools and some standing room. After being in a car and on a flight and in another car all morning, we weren't mad about the standing part. We were all able to share and sample each sandwich, and honestly, we were not disappointed. We were all full and happy when we weren't finished, so what more could we want for a relatively quick NYC meal? Being under the plaza, the restrooms were outside the shop but very close by so we were able to wash hands and such before journeying out into the wild. I would definitely stop back by again on another trip! The guys and I all gave Alidoro's two thumbs up - so 8 thumbs total, if you're counting.
