Horrible horrible horrible. Stylist Jen Lopez is absolutely awful. Does not want to take responsibility that she completely messed up my hair. Half my hair is balayage and the other half is thick highlights, my hair is also completely yellow and damaged. She also had me wait 2 hours in the parking lot and another hour inside as I watched her start do someone else's hair even though my appointment was hours before. She has no disregard for people's feelings or time. Don't waste your time on this place. If they mess up you won't get a refund. They will just play the victim and blame the client. read more

I purchased a Groupon for gel manicures from Liz. I had issues getting an appointment because she doesn't respond to texts or pick up the phone mostly. I finally got a call back from her after trying to book an appointment for months and when I came to our appointed time (8:00am) she said that the appointment was for next week. I found that odd because my Groupon would expire by that date. I shrugged it off. We made an appointment for the next morning. I have a service dog. I've had plenty of access challenges (as evidenced in my Yelp reviews). I'm well enough with medication and therapy now that I don't have to always use her. I have good days but I still have bad days. So at the first appointment I did not have her with me. When I came in the next afternoon with my service animal Liz immediately told me "The dog is not allowed here." I was calm and said that she was a service animal. I gave her an information card and welcomed her to call the Department of Justice if she had any questions. She ran out and I could hear her yelling to the manager to tell me that my dog makes her too uncomfortable to work in her space. Now...the manager is extremely nice and I could tell from her yelling down the hall that he was trying to diffuse the situation and avoid a legal issue. He referred me to another manicurist and I thanked him. So service not denied on his part, just on hers. read more

I recently got my hair done with Courtney at salon 106. I initially came in for a nice blonde baylage. She dyed my roots a really dark brown and she bleached the rest of my hair. After that she added a dark toner and it gave me super dark hair with gray in it. She had me waiting for a few hours with bleach in my hair and my hair came out extremely damaged. My ends were crusty and dry. She charged me $225 for this type of service & originally she was charging $240. She also got hair dye on my cardigan. I asked her why my hair had gray in some parts and she said it was becuase of the toner she used and she said it would go away. I texted her two days after telling her I was not satisfied. The gray in my hair had not gone away. I told her I'm so embarrassed to even have my hair down. After two washes my hair came out with different color tones in it and I told her I still had grey in it since she said it was going to wash away. She said she can fix it or I can wash my hair more and it will wash off. I told her I'd come in so she can fix my hair instead, and so I come in a week later and nothing was fixed. She said if I want her to fix my hair, she would have to reschedule me at another time and she would need to charge me. She said she only scheduled me for a few minutes because she was going to add more toner/bleach in my hair and that's all. She refused to fix my hair.. So I asked for a complimentary haircut. She said she was going to ask her manager Elise and so she did. Elise told her to only cut my ends and that she will not dry my hair. I said that's fine because my ends of my hair were super damaged and crusty from the bleach. Courtney did a terrible job on cutting my hair. I walked out from the salon UNSATISFIED like previously mentioned. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Go to a salon with a real stylist that has experience in what she's doing. I would like a refund as a courtesy. I actually got my hair fixed by Jessica Bird. She is located at the grand salon in Brea. She is the best stylist ever!!! I love her. You guys need to check her out. I've never been so happy of the work someone has done on my hair. She's the best!!!! You won't regret getting your hair done by Jessica. This is a Unique salon. Every person owns their own room or "Suite". We came here for the Eyelash extensions but they had Hair services and Skin services available. We did like how every space could be unique to the providers But we Hated How Loud Everyone Was. Through my whole service We could here conversations and laughing. It was Very distracting. Also, upon arriving the ladies at the front followed to closely down the hall invading my personal space. Awkward! Jennifer doing my lashes did a good job. I was a little taken aback that it took 2hours since I've had eyelash extensions before and it never took longer than an hour. She provides a thorough education and future plans for maintenance of haircolor. For the past 3 years Ive been getting my hair done by Niko and will not let anyone else touch my hair. She listens to exactly what you want and makes sure you are 100% satisfied with it before you leave. I sometimes book an appointment with her after a stressful week because it always makes me feel better after a good cut and style, plus she is so energetic and hilarious that you forget you had a stressful week in the first place! I had my first experience yesterday at the new salon. I was so impressed with the décor and the private rooms. I did not hear any noise in the rest of the building at all. I was able to spend quality time with my stylist who is Marcela Sanchez by the way..suite 124. Marcela has done a fantastic job on my color and cuts for some time now. She moved and I followed!!
