Burger was a typical burger nothing crazy about it. They one on the menu looked a lot better. Service was fast didn't take long for the food to come out. Located in the food hall so vibe is great.
First of all, such kind and intentional workers, so patient and attentive! The outdoor patio is so nice to just hangout at, with a cool inside too! I always love when restaurants offer gluten-free buns and dairy free cheese, so that was nice. AND, my favorite part, the sweet potato fries... which were incredible :) Overall, I would definitely recommend this place.
I loved the outside seating area. We also enjoyed the burgers and craft beer. The staff were friendly, patient and helpful on us picking a burger for our first time in!
We have been to this location before in the assembly food hall. We love that they have vegetarian options here especially to get a fried chicken sandwich. The fries are delicious and always nice and good with beer cheese. The coleslaw wasn't bad but not our favorite. This is definitely a place to try if you are a vegetarian and they also have an impossible burger as well which we didn't get to try. The service is pretty quick and it is rather busy as it is inside the food hall. We were able to find a seat right next to the place and it is quite noisy there due to the other many restaurants and music.
Date of visit: March 17, 2025 Looking for a late lunch/early dinner here at the Assembly Food Hall, we settled on The Pharmacy Burger stop and overall it was a great visit. Staff was very friendly and while there was a bit of a wait, that told me that they were making the food fresh and when that's the reason for a delay, I'm all about waiting. I went with the Farm Burger, while many burger places have something similar and there was nothing unusual about this take on it, it was very well done overall with ham, a good burger patty, and a egg on it. The honey mustard that came with it was also very good. The only sour note here was that the sweet potato fries were a bit underwhelming; the crispy ones were excellent, but about a third of them were not crispy. Shamrock shake was amazing!
Terrific burger and we loved the tots. Fries were nothing to write home about, but the tots. Definitely a must-purchase. Perfectly salted, perfectly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Burgers were juicy, cooked smash-burger style. We ordered the basic Pharmacy burger, figuring if you couldn't do a classic correctly there was no point in trying something special. This is a quality burger stop and the Assembly Food Hall is a fun spot to eat before a show at the Ryman.

I wish i read the reviews 1st. I randomly selected this spot and as a Yelper, I know better. Do your research 1st. Save your money, it's not worth it. Good customer service and the food was ready quickly. Unfortunately, the entire meal lack flavor and the fries was blan and greasy... it was not crispy and did not hit the spot. I don't recommend this spot. I'm sure I can find a better spot to dine during my visit. NEXT!!!
Pharmacy burger has been one of my favorite spots in Nashville over the last 3 years!! The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is spot on and the environment is homey. I love the chicken pesto burger and their Coca-Cola barbecue sauce! The tater tots are always a happy addition to any meal! They've got a great selection of beer, spirits, and ciders! The hidden gem of pharmacy burger is the massive beer garden style patio out back! It is a great spot to be in the spring, summer, or fall! They are also dog friendly back here! I could go on all day about how I've never had a bad experience here - whether I've dined in, gotten take out, or brought my dog to enjoy a drink!

Beef eaters rejoice I have found another incredible burger joint! Pharmacy burger has flavors above the rest and they don't go cheap on the meat or the toppings. I stumbled across pharmacy burger while strolling the food hall and eyeing other peoples plates; if you're familiar with this food hall you know there are cuisines from all over the world to choose from, so it's not easy to decide. After seeing quite a few great looking burgers I decided to indulge and ordered a giant burger with bacon and an egg along with tater tots. We also got a second burger of the same sort and sweet potato fries. The staff were new and still learning, and while friendly they seemed a bit confused and unsure of what they were doing. We ordered to go and they had to box it up at the end because they forgot (not a big deal). Pharmacy burger itself is one of the larger places and is clean and fresh looking. The hall has seating all over so you can eat and chill wherever your tummy desires. Our burgers were spectacular and huge! The flavors of the meat, toppings, and the bun were perfect, and the bacon was crispy and seasoned splendidly. Our fries and tots however were soggy as could be, it was as if they forgot to fry them which was a shame. Even though the tots and fries were awful the burgers made up for it and we would absolutely eat here again. You can't go wrong with a big hunk of meat and cheese between some buns, and pharmacy burger nailed it!
I am still sitting in the food court after eating this burger and not because it was good, but because it's a sin to waste food. This farm house burger was the worst burger I've ever eaten in my life! It was flavorless and dry. Absolutely disgusting! Even the fries were blah and needed salt and I hardly EVER think food needs salt. Don't go here. It's horrible and not worth the money.
We stopped by the Assembly Food Hall with our family of 5 on a Thursday night because we wanted something quick and didn't want to wait for a table somewhere. This restaurant had kids meal options, which was one of our requirements. I ordered a cheeseburger with tater tots. The burger was really good - the perfect sized patty and the tater tots were PERFECTLY cooked. They had a crispness that I love in tots. My husband had the White Oak BBQ Burger and cole slaw. The burger was excellent, but the slaw lacked sauciness and just tasted like a bowl of cabbage. The kids had chicken tenders and a cheeseburger, which all got eaten, so I'll take that as a sign that it was tasty. All around good meal for something quick and we were able to get seating for 5 people very easy on a Thursday at 6:30pm.
I had a chance to tryout The Pharmacy while visiting Nashville for the national Urban League Conference. This is a really good burger spot. And they serve traditional, full sized burgers not the trendy thin Smashburger version that has become all the rage. I ordered the 3 Cheese burger and it was excellent. Soft bun, fresh toppings and a griddled burger. I had the fresh cut fries which were also great!! I would definitely recommend checking them out when you visit Assembly Food Hall. read more
A group of us were staying in downtown Nashville for a few days last week. When we first arrived at our hotel we were starving and someone suggested we take a short walk to the Assembly Food Hall. While we've been to Nashville many times, this was the first time we've been to this place. The Food Hall itself is pretty amazing, so many great restaurants! I understand that the original Pharmacy Burger is in East Nashville and this location opened a few years ago. I've read reviews saying the original is better, but this worked well for us. The burger was tasty and the Mac and cheese was very good. The Creamsicle soda was fantastic, we'd go back just for that! If you're on Broadway and looking for a quick stop for good food, stop by the Assembly Food Hall and give Pharmacy Burger a try! read more

The original location of the Pharmacy in East Nashville serves what I believe are the best burgers in the state of Tennessee. So I was puzzled about the perpetually tepid ratings for the downtown location inside the Assembly Food Hall. And then I found out for myself. Sure, it's difficult to replicate an original in a touristy location like a food hall, an airport, or a professional sporting venue. We all know that. But the beef doesn't even taste the same here. In East Nashville, the burgers are juicy, fresh, flavorful, and bursting with sensational quality. At Assembly, the beef was way oversalted, so much so that I couldn't even finish all of it. The patty was flat, flavorless (other than maximum saltiness), and unappealing. I was confused and disappointed. My favorite Farm Burger, about which I constantly rave to others, featured additionally oversalted bacon - it's almost impossible to mess up Gifford's - and oversalted ham. At least they got the egg and the bun right, though. I don't know why, but tourists are unfortunately treated to a subpar Pharmacy that pales in comparison to its parent. read more

I have to say how much I love that their a separate counter and cooking area just for the vegans and vegetarians. My main concern is always cross contamination and this eliminates this issue for me. I love that it's allergy friendly as well. The guys at the front were very helpful, there isn't much to it. Sometimes you just crave a comfort meal, that's simple as fried and a burger. Why can't vegetarians have this also! This is where the pharmacy comes in handy! The burger was huge, and cooked well. Perfectly balanced the soft vegan bun, that actually fit the size of the patty. Next time I will ask for my fries to be cooked extra. Make sure to grab a coco cola, the one from Mexico uses real cane sugar unlike the one made here in the states. This isn't an everyday meal, it's a nice once in a while treat! Who doesn't love coming to fifth and broad, the ambience is always so lively. Delicious give them a try if you're in the hankering for a good veggie option. read more
We had such a good burger our first day in town, we returned the following day with a couple of family members for lunch the second day! The order takers we encountered both days were friendly and proficient and got our orders correct. The burgers were good, toppings were fresh and sides were crispy and good. We had the sweet potato fries the first day and the tater tots on the return visit. You can order a fountain drink - soda or tea for $3.00 and all of the eateries share the huge drink station, so it's always busy. The second day it ran out if both sweet and unsweet teas and also ice! That's a disaster, but crisis averted when someone pretty quickly came to refill the ice. read more

Ordered the Pharmacy Burger with no bun with a side of hand cut fries. The burger was perfectly cooked, juicy inside with a slight char outside. The fries were decent as I prefer more crispy, but overall delicious. read more

The service was not all there. There were two women in the front that were laughing back and forth speaking spanish, didn't even greet or talk to me while I was ordering. Very unprofessional. As for the food, I ordered the pharmacy burger and a side of sweet potato fries, and it was absolutely delicious. read more

We had a hard time deciding where to eat in the Assembly food hall and decided to eat here. Pharmacy Burger offers grass-fed meat patties and lots of vegetarian options. I went with their Pharmacy Burger ($12) which is basically a cheese burger with their grass fed meat patty. I didn't know but it came with fries included which was a nice surprise. Unfortunately their fries were very soggy and gross. The burger, however, was pretty decent. It wasn't overly seasoned or salty. It came with yellow mustard inside which I liked. I didn't care for the bun since it was so thick and bland. But overall, not bad and the portion was pretty big. I probably won't be back here since there are options to check out in the food hall. read more
I found this place to be a bit chaotic and confusing. The food was good, but not great. First off I inadvertently tried to order from their vegetarian counter without realizing that's what it was. I felt like I was being chastised by the employee for not knowing which was which. The directed me to the other counter around the corner to place my carnivore order. It seemed odd that two connected counters couldn't be more organized about taking orders, especially when the two restaurants are connected. It was also a bit of a disorganized mob scene to order and get your food. Part of this is because the restaurant is in a food hall, so there isn't a lot of space and lots of people are walking around. This made it a bit of a challenge to wait for your food without constantly being in the way of others. My burger looked a little bit slapped together. It was pretty good overall, mostly because I liked the barbecue sauce, but it wasn't great. The tater tots were very good of course, because they were tater tots which are awesome. Overall my experience was just OK. I know part of the problem was that this location is in a pretty chaotic food hall. But I felt the food should have been better even with it being a food hall. read more

Location has two sides of the restaurant one for Gardiner and one for Norma burgers. The meat side was really fast but they gave my order to somebody else. Luckily, I caught him before he was trying my fries. Ordered the pharmacy burger with extra crispy sweet potato fries. They were cooked just perfect. Nice and crispy. Burger was fine. Bit more mustard than I would ever use. My daughter got the plant chicken sandwich. Tater tots were nice & crispy. Unfortunately the plant based chicken took 20 mins & nobody was in front of us! read more

The server was good. I think he was by himself at lunch time. Poor guy. The food was fine. I always like sweet potato fries. It was a clean place. We sat outside because the day was perfect. It's a warehouse type of a place that has several other food services in there. read more
