Very poor option in this downtown food hall. I ordered a Nashville chicken bowl (and asked for the aioli sauce on the side). They ignored me on the sauce. Nonetheless, when it came out, the bowl barely had any chicken. What little chicken was there turned out to be mostly small, diced up, chewy breading with a minuscule of actual meat. Also, it included a small amount of slaw and "greens" (not real Southern greens as one might expect, but lettuce). Overall: Awful. This place is about as fake as it gets and is clearly geared to tourists that aren't familiar with the real options available. Nashville is so famous for their hot chicken that we made it a point to get a good variety of hot chicken from multiple spots. This spot is inside the Assembly Hall on Broadway. The staff is very friendly and gives you good advice based on your taste buds. They recommended their hot chicken fries that comes with coleslaw, pickle, fries, fried chicken and some really delicious sauce on it. The rotisserie chickens rotating behind the counter closed the deal for us. My order consisted of 1/4 White Chicken marinated in Caribbean BBQ with Mixed Greens and Mac n Cheese. Let's start off by mentioning how delicious the sides were. I love the Mixed Greens the plate came with. The drizzle of feta on top was chefs kiss. The Mac n Cheese wasn't just a cheddar mac, it seemed to have had lighter cheeses as the base. It was heavenly and didn't leave me feeling heavy after eating it. I can't say enough good things about this place. First, the location is perfect. It is located in the Food Hall which is right next to Broadway Street which is very convenient. This restaurant is located in the food court right across from Ryman Auditorium and the Nissan Stadium. This food court was very modern and fresh looking, lots of seating inside and out. My husband and I could not pass up the tantalizing view of rotisserie chicken. So we ordered the herb & garlic chicken as well as the Jamaican BBQ chicken with a side of green beans and Mac n cheese. It's not dry the herb sauce was good, not spicy at all. It was moist and juicy! The only complaint was the rice was undercooked. I ordered a side of peri-peri sauce it's $.50 an extra sauce. I wasn't impressed with the peri-peri sauce it was spicy I guess I was used to a more vinegar base peri-peri sauce. The herb-roasted chicken though was the bomb! This is the first place to eat at when you enter the Assembly food hall located at 5th + Broadway (which is actually located on commerce street, ironically). Being the first, on the first day of opening I tried to eat here. I asked a very rude lady at the front about cilantro in their food because I'm allergic to it. She would not ask anyone about it. She did not help whatsoever and acted like I was making it up, so I tried to order items I thought had a very low likelihood of having cilantro in them. I watched the cook use the same gloves on his cell phone as he did when he was cooking food, and when it finally arrived, it was the most dry, flavorless chicken I've ever had in all of Nashville, and I'm a native. Not only that, but they often kept their masks under their noses while making the food. This is the definition of a place that does not care about COVID precautions and did not from the first day they were open. I'm actually the person that put them on Google Maps. You can see on the first photo I posted, the lady who was rude to me, the cook using an electronic device, and the girl putting her glove on a shelf in the background that she also used to touch every person's credit card for payment.
