I came here today with The Things for a fun time on Sping Break week…read more Prior to coming in, I called ahead to determine if the facility would be open during spring break as well as the price for skating. When we arrived, I was required to sign complete a waiver for skating. Once complete, I paid the fee for the skate rental and was allowed to take the Things to "the rink." Rink in this case is in quotes as this location is really a mom and pop gym with a padded area for skating and is not a rink at all. While skating, it became obvious that the rink wasn't even which made for a less than pleasant skating experience. During the hour and some change we spent here, we were one of the very few here. I suppose this is because it was the middle of the day on a week day. For those who are just learning to skate, this may be an ideal time to come here as there aren't many here to see you fall! It shouls also be noted that if you are bringing Littles here, there are not any training/walkers for children to use who are learning to skate nor are there any guard/side rails to hold onto for security while skating. Drinks such as bottled soda and water are sold here for one dollar each.

Home to Pflugerville high school football players and track as well…read more Located West of Pflugerville high school, and North from their Fieldhouse. This stadium is as old as PHS, and locked up off hours. Over Summer 2025, they got brand new turf. All home games for freshman and JV are playing on this field. To attend one of their games, you can scan a QR code upon entrance, or buy tickets prior with a link to their ticket box. It is $4 per adults and $2 students plus a ridiculous more than 30% transaction fee, every game. Their games are considered small with little scoreboard light up time, 1 cop, a hardworking concession stand group of volunteers, but kept clean well. The concessions stands keeps changing locations; front or back. They sell anything from Gatorade, nachos, chips, candy to hotdogs and popcorn. They regularly have Bush's chicken sliders and sweet tea as well. The promotion options. T-shirts, bags, caps etc. between $15-$30 each. The teams are working hard over the Summers to get in shape and are now showing their skills during Football season. The Varsity team gets to play at the large Pfield, across the road. And they are great! It is a goal for the youngsters to join them in the future. The coaches are amazing! The teams are fantastic! We are Panthers Proud!

I had a coupon for me and a plus one to have a reserved seat for free at the Dell Diamond, and I wanted to take advantage of it. I convinced my buddy to go with me to an opening series game where the Round Rock Express faced the Gwinnett Stripers. We agreed to go on a Wednesday to get our dollar hot dog night on. You know how that goes. Of course, going to every sporting event feels like they are going to nickel and dime you. It's $15 for parking, so if you can carpool, I'd highly recommend it. Beers range from $12 for domestic to $14 for craft. Everything is pricey. The hot dogs still remained $2 the whole night. Selfishly, I ate 5 over the nine innings. I didn't eat much through the day, and a decent ballpark dog was calling my name. As for the actual game, it was over by the second inning. The night was very windy, so no balls had a chance to go yard. The Stripers scored 6 runs at the top of the 2nd and it was 7 scoreless innings for the Express. Ay caramba. The nice gentleman in front of us was at the game with his wife and gave us good conversation. We watched kids rabid for the flying foul balls. Sometimes the game isn't even the most entertaining part because the stadium has a story of its own. The hot dogs were very nice. At a dollar, they could be lukewarm, soggy, and wrinkled, but they were dense, flavorful, and actually pretty good. Sometimes I wonder if dollar dogs are cheaper and they probably are, but you couldn't fool me. They weren't jumbo quarter-pound dogs by any means, but they were a normal quality-sized wiener. I drank a draft of the Love Street Blonde, one of my favorite common craft beverages, and got a can of Michelob Ultra from a very nice hawker that I obviously tipped. I just don't really like Michelob Ultra, I realize. I took a stroll through the Dell Diamond before leaving and there's a lot of cool spots from their yard in the back, which is great for just relaxing during the game, though the view isn't the most ideal for the action (great for bombs though). There's a full bar as well with baseball simulators and TVs showing other games, but if I'm paying money to park and watch a game, maybe that's not the move IMO. Regardless of the Express getting rocked by the Stripers, I had a great time and want to return to more Express games this season. As a young adult, the deals on weekdays are too good to pass up. Thursday might be a move in the future for those $4 domestics, $7 drafts, and cheaper food options around the park. Maybe next time the Express will get more runs than hot dogs I ate. If you've never been to a game here, you should make it out to one. They are always fun. The team is mediocre, but you know what it is. Still fun to watch the game watch the smoke green, possibly see Matthew McConaughey. It is walking distance from the domain. Traffic does get heavy on Burnet/Braker. There is heavy presence of police. And everybody's just so friendly there is food stands along with beer stands and restrooms by gender. Gooal! It's a lot of fun. Most of them are on Saturday evening sometimes they do have some games during the week on Thursday. I highly recommend for you to go and the tickets are not that expensive.

The Metaverse Team is outstanding! What we liked the most was they do everything. They arrived on…read moretime to set up, we discussed the preferred location and viola! Truck was in position. Metaverse sets up taking the sun shine direction into consideration too. They have the chairs. They have great awnings. The gaming screens on the truck have shadow boxes. They have a huge fan too for a breeze! Inside the truck is the VR stations and a new super cool driving VR option. Ok - so they take care of everything to get set up. Then - they take care of the kiddos (and novice adults too) ensuring that everyone picks games the like, and have instructions on how to play (if needed). Stacey watched the outside gamers, Travis stayed inside with the VR players. The biggest and the toughest critics were the kiddos- and they all had a great time playing with the Metaverse games. Our crew was primarily 7 - 9 year olds. But even the old folk parents enjoyed everything. In summary - we are so glad we used Metaverse at our kiddo's party. I've been DYING to go back ever sense. I don't think I can even explain to you how addictive and all consuming the joy of playing these games are. Bonus, it's for sure a work out. If I lived closer I would would be at this joint two or three times a week, and in the best shape of my life. The games are all fast paced and high energy, but does it feel like a workout? Not at all, until you realize when you are so SHWEATY. It's like burst sprints mixed with body weights and maybe some yoga? I just know that I loved it in a way that I haven't loved physical activity since I was in my teens. The staff was all super friendly too. The perfect kind of friendly as well. Polite, informative, but not all fake high energy/chatty like your at a kids camp. It was nothing but good vibes. It was fairly busy when we went, which means we had to cycle through rooms pretty fast, but there are so many rooms! You can always go back for your favorites again later, and some of the ones that "looked" boring were actually the most fun for me. I wasn't moving at all and they just kept on getting hotter and hotter in the movie theater. My shirt was drenched and my pants were sticking to the seat and no the seat heater was not on. My recommendation is just to make sure that the AC is on. Overall, the movie was great. The staff was amazing. Just couldn't enjoy the movie as much because it was hot.

One teenager cut me in line for concessions and had the nerve to save a spot for her friend. After commenting how rude that was, I swapped lanes. Normally, I would've made her move but I saw a shorter lane so I went for it. But, then the teenager worker behind the counter took the order of the person before me and then walked off right when it was my time to order (he didn't even say a word; just walked off). I was the only one in the line at the time and already had snacks in hand. He was gone for almost ten minutes. I asked for assistance from multiple workers while I was waiting. They are just young without any supervision --all so disorganized with no direction until one of them finally helped after I had to flag her down. Then, finally when I got to my movie, I thought it would be over but it was a bunch of annoying teenagers in the seats next to me that were talking nonstop. They talked throughout all the previews. They kept talking after the movie started; after five minutes of waiting for them to quiet now that the movie had started, it was apparent they were going to keep talking so I got a refund at the front and just left. Go here only if you love being around annoying teenagers. Everyone else BEWARE!
