My daughter and her friends had an amazing time exploring the space and playing. They offer a variety of birthday party packages. I opted for the mid-tier package and rented out the whole space. The package I selected included goody bags, cupcakes, and decor which was nice; I appreciated having them handle that and they made good selections. While the space and ease of the preparations were wonderful, I felt a couple of things could've been better: 1. I had a lot of email back and forth with the party planner. She was responsive & answered my questions, but didn't provide much proactive information. It would've been nice to have a touch base phone call to go over final details and logistics the week before the party. 2. For the price I would've appreciated if they included atleast one add-on such as slime or crafts. 3. It is a very tight window - 1.5 hours with only 30 mins in the private room. I wish we could've had a total of 2 hours in the space so it wouldn't have felt as rushed.

We showed up on a Saturday night and I was expecting it to be a lot busier. I assumed it would be crawling with rugrats and ankle biters but my friend and I were it. They had a Saturday night special where it was unlimited play with any type of blaster. There was about 1.5-2 hours left before they closed up and figured we could play a lot of games. Since it was the two of us it was mano y mano while we had a gamesmaster/ref/time keeper there. The space is littered with Darts and with the variety of blasters available you need to be cognizant of what 'caliber' you're using. A family ended of four ended up coming in so despite being outnumbered 2-1 we beat them due to superior tactics, coordinated teamwork and the fact that two of the them hadn't hit puberty yet. Hey, a win's a win!

Today I got the opportunity to visit the Austin Independent School District (AISD) performing arts…read morecenter for the first time. The building is huge and aesthetically pleasing. There is also a large parking garage nearby (free parking). AISD student art work is prominently displayed throughout the building. I was at the performing arts center for a Alvin Alley dance workshop. This dance group travels throughout the world featuring modern dance, ballet and Afro beat movements. During middle and high school years we got the opportunity to see the Alvin Alley dancers every year. Their performance was elegant, rhymic and exquisitely executed. I remember being in awe of their toned bodies and breathtaking athletic and graceful moves. I remember also thinking how beautiful their ballet moves. Today's Rhythm and Movement workshop was engaging, authentic and very enjoyable. I loved that the workshop was diverse - ages 6 to 70+ years old, from all walks of life and different ethnicities. The theater complex is conveniently situated at the edge of the Mueller development. Parking is covered, close, convenient, and FREE. Productions here are reasonably priced with tickets typically in the $10-15 per person range. Concessions are often run by boosters; while limited in their offerings, water is not $6 a bottle like it is at UT productions. The space is modern and attractive. In terms of comfort, I found the Black Box theater to be the less welcoming of the two. Seats are difficult to access in the risers, and I do not have mobility issues. The seats themselves are comfortable however. In sharp contrast, the main theater is very accommodating and comfortable. If accessibility is it all an issue I would check to see which theater your production is in before you buy the tickets. Highly recommended.

The workers varied from really nice and helpful to grumpy and appearing to hate their jobs. The place in general is a money pit, but I think you know that going into it. We happened to get in on a BOGO special. Otherwise the price seems crazy high. The roller coaster was one activity that seemed to be running very inefficient. It took forever for them to load the carts. They did jump workers around to different activities so everything isn't always open and the times posted didn't actually match up to when they were open.

Home to Pflugerville high school football players and track as well…read more Located West of Pflugerville high school, and North from their Fieldhouse. This stadium is as old as PHS, and locked up off hours. Over Summer 2025, they got brand new turf. All home games for freshman and JV are playing on this field. To attend one of their games, you can scan a QR code upon entrance, or buy tickets prior with a link to their ticket box. It is $4 per adults and $2 students plus a ridiculous more than 30% transaction fee, every game. Their games are considered small with little scoreboard light up time, 1 cop, a hardworking concession stand group of volunteers, but kept clean well. The concessions stands keeps changing locations; front or back. They sell anything from Gatorade, nachos, chips, candy to hotdogs and popcorn. They regularly have Bush's chicken sliders and sweet tea as well. The promotion options. T-shirts, bags, caps etc. between $15-$30 each. The teams are working hard over the Summers to get in shape and are now showing their skills during Football season. The Varsity team gets to play at the large Pfield, across the road. And they are great! It is a goal for the youngsters to join them in the future. The coaches are amazing! The teams are fantastic! We are Panthers Proud!

I saw so many posts on Facebook about the Dutchens Festival, all advertising it as "the annual…read moreDutchens Fest -- the biggest festival in Pflugerville!" I was so excited to attend, especially since it was my first time. It was promoted as a fun, community-based event -- but the reality was completely different once we arrived. As a family of eight, we were told there was an entrance fee of $10 per person for one day, $15 per person the next day, and around $20 on the last day. You're telling me I'd have to pay $80 just to walk in with my family to walk inside a public park with vendors? On top of that, there were tons of small businesses, vendors, and rides for the kids -- which is great -but you have to pay for that as well. Nowhere online did it clearly say there was an admission fee just to enter -- $10 the first day, $15 the next, and $20-$25 the final day. And keep in mind, this was held at a public park. They completely gated the entire area off, like literally fenced it off every inch with metal gates so no one could enter without paying -- it felt like a lockdown, not a festival. It's honestly frustrating that a city like Pflugerville, which is supposed to be so "community-oriented," would host an event that excludes people based on whether they can afford to pay just to walk into a public space. What if someone just wanted to support local small businesses or grab food from a food truck? If you have a family of 4, 5, 6, 7 -- you're dropping $50, $60, $70, $80 just to get in. The advertising was misleading, and the setup felt more about profit than community. I really hope future events are more transparent and actually represent the community spirit they claim to have. Also, where exactly do these funds go? Because ,I have no clue. They should be ashamed charging people to enter a public park -- especially when everyone inside is already spending money.

This German-themed extravaganza is packed to the brim with pflavors, pfun, and a whole lot of Pflugerville spirit! But before you spurt off to this pfestival with cash in hand, be aware that Deutschen Pfest no longer accepts cash for admission, so you best be prepared to buy your tickets online @ deutschenpfest.com. Or, for those of you with a penchant for traditional German garb, dust off your lederhosen and dirndls, because wearing these gets you in for free! No pfun pfest would be pfullfilling without prodigious draft beers. Pfriends, they got'em here. Oh, the glory of lifting a gigantic beer stein and taking a deep gulp of that golden, frothy goodness! Oh, and the bratwurst! These bratwursts are the real deal, grilled to perfection and bursting with meat juice. I guess you could say that the pflavor is pfabulous! This is the second year in a row to visit, and the layout of the pfestival this year was nearly a photocopy of last year's event. But hey, if it ain't broke, don't pfix it, right? All-in-all, Deutschen Pfest in Pfluger Park is an annual option for anyone looking to indulge in some German-themed pfun, beers, food, games, rides, vendors, and some pfantastic music. Attended an Austin FC on a Saturday night…read more The good: * The stadium is pretty awesome and a cool design. They offer some great views of the action on the field. The chairs are designed to not be hot, which worked. * It was a breeze to get in the stadium, even with the Seatgeek app not being easy to use. The ticket takers said they have issues with the Seatgeek app all of the time and just waved us in. * The food options are unique and local. Sure, they were a bit pricey but so is a hot dog at Cowboys Stadium. It was nice to have the local restaurant options in a pro sports stadium. The bad: * Parking situation was not thought through by stadium mgmt. They were way understaffed for fans with parking passes, which made getting into the parking lots take forever. * The food options were good, but the quality of the food was subpar. They need to use the cooks/staff from those restaurants (not hospitality workers from Levy) to prepare & serve the food - as then it will match the quality expected. * The games start so late (8pm) due to heat that a lot of the crowd started to leave midway through the second half. * They are overcharging for their tickets. I get this is their inaugural year, but the prices were much higher than what you would pay at another, comparable pro sporting event. The seats they listed for sale, that I guess did not sell to season ticket holders, had crazy high face values like $350+. They need to charge a reasonable price to attend, if they want fans to come out multiple times per year. * I hate to complain about the action on the field, but I hope the owners get serious about getting some players who will help the team score goals and be competitive. I will go back and think they are on verge of a good thing - but they need to get some of these issues cleaned up to make this team a mainstay in Austin.

It was so cool to see so many people with poppy clothing - dresses, tops, pants and even one gentleman with a red poppy beard. My friend and I spent 6 hours at the festival. This festival has a little something for everyone. Georgetown visitors and residents enjoyed multiple music stages (Red Poppy, Mayfair and Celebrate) featuring local and nationally recognized performers, browse more than 150 handmade artisan booths, and take part in traditions he such as the Poppy Parade, classic car show, and the POPP Pup Parade. The featured bands while we visited included: Red Poppy Stage Schedule American Gypsy Band: 5:15-6:15 p.m. Jade Eagleson: 6:45-8 p.m. Maddie & Tae: 8:30-10 p.m. Mayfair Stage Schedule Rich Stolp: 4-5 p.m. Celebrate Stage Schedule GISD Ballet Folklorico and Mariachi Band: 4-4:50 p.m. Georgetown Palace Theatre Education: 5-5:55 p.m. The Red Poppy Festival fostered a huge sense of community. Great local event that we were able to attend for the first time since moving in the area…read more Tons and tons of different vendors selling food, arts, crafts, products, services and much more. I loved the setup, putting vendors back to back and not closing off the regular stores in the area. We wandered for a few hours checking out stores and booths, mixing between so we could get relief from the heat. We were able to be more exposed to stores we maybe wouldn't have stopped into before this event. Due to the event spanning multiple blocks it was easy to find street parking that didn't feel super far away from the action. They had a designated area where 6 or 7 food trucks were parked. This was the only area that needs to be setup differently in the future. Long lines and it was confusing who was in line and difficult to stay out of others way or to get through past people waiting in line or for food to be done. We'll definitely be attending again next year and will probably go later in the day to enjoy the free concerts in the square as well.
