From the moment we walked in the door, everything was amazing. The staff were wonderful with all of the kids, who ranged from ages 2-11...and ALL of them enjoyed it. The staff handled everything for us and were incredibly kind and attentive. It is clear how much Mr. Brandyn enjoys his job. I had fun watching him have a gymnastics-off of sorts with my 11 year old niece. He knew exactly how to get the kids to do what he needed them to do, progressing from one activity to another and the kids enjoyed every second. I think every parent there wanted to hire him to get their kids to listen :) We'll definitely be heading there to try a class soon. This was absolutely the best party we have thrown or been to. It is worth every penny...and by the way, the staff are too nice to ask, but luckily I remembered seeing in a contract that I was emailed that they are able to receive tips...you can (and should!!) tip them if you think they deserve it. The combined years of experience and level of expertise by the staff is unmatched by any other local gym. In fact many of the owners and trainers from the competing local gyms got their start at Forged when it was CrossfitNC. If you're serious about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, or Crossfit training this is the best to begin your journey. The environment is friendly, family oriented, and laidback. Doesn't matter if you're a beginner or have years of experience this gym will challenge you and instruct you at the level that's right for you. In the six years I've been a member I have personally seen many of my training partners make amazing transformations in body and mind. I've also been fortunate enough to train with some of the most respected high level jiu-jitsu instructors and competitors in the area and from all over. He tells me that the instructors were fantastic. He's 12 and typically enjoys obstacle courses, so this camp was right up his alley. If your kid has no interest in playing on workout equipment and completing obstacles all day, please don't sign them up for the camp. It makes it less fun for the others who are there to get better at their skills. But, if your kid loves running, climbing, and all things ninja warrior, then this is definitely the right place!

It was clear that missing all the game time and practices in those two years had made her fall behind in the sport. I enrolled her in Triangle Volleyball's Youth Volleyball Program (YVP), a six-week course on passing, setting, ball control and proper mechanics. The coaches are wonderful. Although the course is group instruction, the course gave my 13yo instant feedback and contact with the ball multiple times. Just within the first day, I could see an improvement in her passing skill, and she finally became comfortable with setting. We also combined the YVP course with Play the Game to get her playing in smaller group games. Location and schedule of YVP were very convenient for our busy family and work schedules.

I had zero experience and I was successful with most of the moves! It's nice that it's a small class so that the instructor can walk around and give tips to the students. The receptionist shared they just moved into a new space and it has been repainted with more going up on the walls soon. It looked good to me already. My son started in their parkour class this past year. Both love it at the gym and love all the staff. The kids here are more than just a dollar sign to the staff. Relationships are built with both staff and other gymnasts. I can't recommend a better place for your kids to attend!
