We danced, shook our bodies like animals, did primal screams (which was an awesome release!), learned ways to calm our nervous systems and regulate the vagus nerve, and so so much more, then ended with a beautiful guided meditation and sound bath. I purchased guest passes so I could bring my son to experience the gym. Instead of being welcoming or professional, the employee openly expressed that he did not like my son and stated that he would refuse to sell me guest passes in the future. I found this behavior completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Guest passes are offered by the gym as a service to members, and personal opinions about a member's family should never influence whether that service is provided. The employee's comments made both my son and me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I expect staff to treat all members and guests with respect, regardless of personal feelings. Management should address this issue and ensure employees maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers.
