I will say, it did take a while for her to come to our table to greet us, but she was very busy. She took our drink order at the same time she took the food order for the table across from us, so it's not like she was just taking her sweet time getting to our table. I ordered an Arnold Palmer, and my partner got an unsweetened ice tea. I asked what the difference was between the Tupelo Dippers and the Tupelo Chicken Platter. She told me the Dippers came with four whereas the chicken platter came with 5 and fries. I opted for the appetizer portion, while my partner ordered the grilled salmon. I also informed her I had the birthday brownie and she checked my ID to confirm. The food arrived within ten minutes, and we both chowed down. I really enjoyed the breading on my chicken tenders, and my partner's salmon was very tender. I also really enjoyed his mashed potatoes because the skin on inside the mashed potatoes was a nice texture change. Next came out the birthday brownie. To be honest, this wasn't my favorite. I would have liked a warmer brownie, and ours did not come with ice cream even though the menu states that it does. I'm not sure if the complementary one is different, but I guess I should just be grateful for a free dessert! I really only ate a bite to try it and gave it to my partner to finish. Our subtotal after tax came out to about $55. I was pretty pleased with this price for two drinks, a full size entree (which was $25), and my chicken tenders which was more than enough for me to eat as my lunch meal. We ended up spending about an hour at the restaurant. Overall, I was pleased with the time it took to get seated, staff who is knowledgable with the menu, menu prices, and the taste of the entrees. I do wish the service was a little bit faster, but I strongly think our waitress was overworked to begin with - maybe they were short staffed that day.

My partner and I were at the casino on a Sunday night, and we planned on staying for the gift card promotion that the casino was having. Once it was completed, we realized it was dinner time, and that's when I remembered there was a steakhouse located in the casino. My partner made reservations for 8pm on a Sunday. He made the reservations 10 mins prior, so reservations do not seem that hard to get. Plus there was plenty of seating inside too for walk ins. Upon arrival, the two hostess were both kind and welcoming. They got us seated immediately and handed us our menus. Next, our server, Jordan, appeared and he was not only friendly, but also very on top of everything. We ordered a bottle of Pellegrino ($7), daiquiri ($13), glass of Joel Gott 815 Cab ($11), crab cake ($24), caesar salad ($12), rib eye ($72), whipped potatoes ($9), brussel sprouts ($9) and creme brulee ($12) for a subtotal of $169. They also offer complementary french fries (instead of house bread) served with three dipping sauces. Everything that we had here was quite delicious. My favorites were the the horseradish dipping sauce for the fries, the whipped potatoes (highly recommend), the cab, and of course the ribeye. Those whipped potatoes were so buttery, and smooth. Every time I took a bite, I kept telling my partner how good they were. The ribeye was cooked at a perfect medium rare. The sear on it was done beautifully, along with the seasoning. I was just so pleased with everything. Service wise: our waiter, Jordan, was fantastic. He did a great job at explaining to us when we ordered that the brussel sprouts were not what we were probably used to, and explained how they were unique. While it didn't matter to us, we appreciated the heads up. He also did a great job at making sure my sparkling water was never empty, and my glass was always full (HIGHLY appreciate this). Lastly, he also informed us about the live music that occurs on Thursday- Sunday. He was a great waiter. The only funky thing that stood out to both my partner and I was the fact that the steak doesn't arrive sliced, especially since we said we were sharing everything. We are use to seeing the steak sliced up prior to being put on the table, but that's absolutely not a deal breaker. The steak still arrived perfectly medium rare, it was just something that we were both puzzled by. Overall, we are very happy with the service, the convenience of getting a table, the quality of the food, as well as the price for the overall meal. It has taken me far too long to leave this review…read more I suppose I should start a year ago, my husband was in the ICU facing some serious health issues. Life felt like it was turned upside down. Lori who owns and runs this cafe and bakery near my house, personally brought me by some of her goodies- completely free of charge. Just because she's a saint. Lori is a "salt of the earth" type of woman. She works incredibly hard to create a space filled with homemade, "like Mom's cooking" items, which she successfully has done because they truly are phenomenal, but also an atmosphere of small town love and with a whole lot of care and kindness. Besides all the goodness that flows from her kitchen, it's also the heart that sets her apart. The thoughtfulness of bringing me something during one of the hardest and most stressful times of my life, was not something I took for granted. That seemly small gesture to others was a bright light and reminded me that good and loving people, like Lori, DO exist. I would love to see everyone stop by, support or just have a chat with her. See what she brings each week! Sometimes it's new items and sometimes it's reimagined familiar comfort foods we all know and love. It takes a village, and Lori has exemplified a good and true villager. May all her love come back to her x10!
