Excellent place to watch the locks. They have excellent salads and wraps. It has a great selection and is very family friendly. They also have great beers. Inside it isn't as airy and open, so you really want to get that patio seat. Lots of fun each time. I wish they'd open up earlier some days for breakfast. read more

Pretty good place to have lunch (or dinner?). We sat outside overlooking the Fenelon Falls which was very pretty (but yes, a little loud - we didn't mind). The food was pretty good - we had a burger, pasta and wings (they were a bit small, but oh well - they were on special). Our waitress was friendly and pointed out a Blue Heron to us on the waterfront below. In summary, yes we would eat here again. read more

Really bad choice! The Bruschetta was cold and the bread old. The fish was served cold and with a Thick layer of flour and the fries were Cold and wither. We asked for information about local beers and the waitress said she was not understanding because the noise from the waterfall was very loud and served us an almost warm beer. I am giving one star because the waterfall. read more

Great location with plenty of parking, so it's a shame the owner could not do more with this place. Too few staff, and those they have need more training. We went on a Monday, which is their "wings special" day. Ordered suicide hot wings - maybe we got the wrong order, although our server said it was correct, but they had zero heat. Pizzas had potential, but one of ours was undercooked, and they added too much cheese at the expense of other toppings. Our Greek salad had 2 olives. Portions are large, but that doesn't make up for low quality. read more

We ordered a 10 inch Hawaiian Pizza and it was delicious. Loaded with cheese, pineapple and ham. Excellent crust. We were in a few days before and ordered the Roast Beef Yorkshire Pudding Bowl. The idea was great but it's not really a Yorkshire Pudding and the gravy was canned. The beef was excellent. The potato was good. If they could somehow make a large Yorkshire it would be a lot better. We will definitely go again. Nice variety of food but no pasta. It might be a special one night, though. Staff was nice and friendly and not a long wait for the order. Beautiful view of the Falls. read more

Great location and the kitchen is competent, that is the end of the what good I can say about The Perch. Constance,the manager needs to find a job where she doesn't deal with people. I was in charge of picking a restaurant to meet a friend. Five days prior to our get-together I went to The Perch to check out their menu, it looked good, with lots of variety, so I made a reservations for 1:00 p.m. the following Thursday on the outside patio over-looking the falls . When I arrived there was no table reserved on the patio and Constance told me no reservations had been made. I told her the day I made it and described the person who I booked it with. She again claimed there was nothing written in the book. I said I had watched the woman write it in the binder. Constance informed me, many people come in saying they have a reservation and they do not. I told her I had no reason to lie and did not appreciate her insinuating that I was. She then made matters worse by telling me I was welcomed to go and eat some place else. By that time my friend had arrived and rather than having our reunion spoiled by driving around looking for another restaurant, we took an inside booth enjoyed our visit and needless to say, left no tip to Constance who choose to wait on us. read more
