First of all... whatever they're doing in that kitchen needs to be studied by science. The food is so consistently good that I'm convinced there's a little grandma hidden in the back whose sole job is smacking anyone who even thinks about using frozen food. Everything tastes homemade, fresh, and exactly the way it did the last time... and the time before that. If they told me they hand-raised the potatoes and personally interviewed the chickens, I'd believe them. The prices are suspiciously reasonable. Every time I get the bill, I feel like I should quietly ask, "Are... are you sure?" while looking around for hidden cameras. The wait staff deserves their own reality show. They're funny, sarcastic, slightly unhinged, and exactly the kind of people you want bringing you pancakes. They're the perfect mix of "Welcome!" and "We're probably going to roast you a little." It's like eating at your favorite cousin's house... if your cousin happened to make incredible food. I came for a quick meal - I stayed because I accidentally got emotionally attached to the staff. If you want overpriced, microwaved food served by someone who'd rather be anywhere else, keep driving. If you want amazing food, great people, and enough laughs to burn off at least three French fries... Silver Moon is the place.
