Cute place! Only had time for one drink, and my boyfriend and I both got the Brick Street Night Club. It was light, refreshing, and crisp! A cute spot in a good location with lots of other places to stop around. Worth the trip!

One of my favorite stops in GR. Jason not only produces a cider worthy of a pint but he also produces them in multiple varieties. While the space is intimate in size they offer a warm and inviting space to have a delicious mug or several. My personal favorite is the Ginger Adams ( a ginger infused cider) I swear this blend has cured me of more than one cold. For the hop fan they also offer a hoppy cider as well as a traditional offering. Stop in and try them out you won't be disappointed!

This cider maker has been on my radar since visiting Grand Rapids for the first time a couple years ago. I tried to go during subsequent vacations, but their limited hours never worked out for me. I met the owners at the Cider Dayze festival at Blake's and finally got to try a couple of their offerings and fell in love. I knew I'd have to make my way to their tap room somehow. The stars aligned during a recent GR trip and we made a special stop at TPC. The tap room is TINY. Like... room for six chairs, tops. That is one of the major downfalls, but there was a sign on the door stating they're moving to a different location soon. Let's hope the new tap room is much larger. There were four ciders on tap during our visit so naturally I tried them all. Their ciders are unique in that they're all barrel-aged, so they're always going to have that oaky flavor regardless of ingredients. I'm super-into this, but realize not everyone is. Eight ounce pours were a little pricey at $4 but worth it considering the complicated nature of what they're brewing and the fact they're all above 6% abv. Their limited hours suck, but I get it... the owners have jobs outside of making delicious cider. But I hope they can expand sensibly and get more people to run their tap room, so they can be open more often.

Love this place! Delicious ciders (which are my fav to begin with) and very friendly and cool staff work here. Staff is personable and recommend drinks to sample if you're unsure. Highly recommend for a tasty drink!

They have a new location! Absolutely 5-Stars across the board! The owners were hands on, walking around greeting people. My friend, Benji, is a local and this is one of his FAVORITE spots. I cannot wait to come back in town and get another taste of their cider....and I usually don't like cider!!

We have done many farms/orchards and this one was bottom of the list unfortunately. We dropped by the winery and it felt like you were transported to a 2004 club with the tacky lights mixed with a clammy dungeon feel. Although it was $10 for 5 tastings, the ambiance negated the price. (The only decently priced feature.) If you have kids, they will for sure be stimulated and you're good to go. Robinette's featured a small kids play area, apple picking, hard cider/wine in the bottom of the barn (note that alcohol cannot leave this space), a farm store, apple cider pressing on site (loved seeing this firsthand!) and a bakery with classic items like apple fritters and donuts. We grabbed an apple cider slushy and enjoyed some time in the playscape as well as a walk through the orchard. It was quite busy during our visit. Too bad you can't bring the alcoholic beverages out of the space. They also had a handful of farm animals in a petting area which was great for the kiddos.

We took advantage of this deal as a family of four for lunch. The business model is bring your own food, or they usually have a rotating food truck to choose from... today was savory or sweet crepes. The place feels special. Rustic, nestled in the woods with an old abandoned home and renovated barn. However, on this sunny 40* day it's wise to wear boots or shoes you don't mind trekking through the mud from the parking lot to the cider barn. The igloo's were nice, hot today with the sun. We turned off the heater and stripped down to our t-shirts. The kids had fun drinking the NA cider and I enjoyed a couple of pints of the dry cider. The picnic table inside easily sat 4 of us and had room for board games to play. The "surprise" was a homemade cherry cream puff with drizzled chocolate on top. It was absolutely delicious. Overall, a great experience for a low key Valentine's Day lunch with our little family. That cream puff though... it really was the cherry on top! Check it out if you want a different experience. It's worth the drive. Make sure to reserve the igloo online in advance to avoid disappointment. Happy Valentine's Day!

As I was reading the Michigan BrewTrail magazine I ran across their advertisement page, and was confused that it had a Grand Rapids address so It prompted me to do a little research. After a deep dive I found out that they are a farm/farmers market and a restaurant, cider/winery. If you Yelp search you won't find their restaurant, cider/winery because it pops up as Ed Dunneback and Girls Farm Market. This new Pink Barrel Cellars page should help separate this from just a farmers market, and help highlight some of their amazing food and drink. I went on their last day of live music according to their online schedule. When I showed up the parking lot was full and there was well over 100 people there. If you go inside you will immediately notice that this place is so much more than a farmers market. In the back they have a bar serving some amazing ales, seltzers, stouts, ciders, and wine by the glass. In the middle they have fresh donuts, wine by the bottle, fresh fruits and vegetables for sale. Near the front they have a food stand. All the employees were spectacular and very informative. I had many questions, and they were all very Knowledgeable. Found out they have a few beers that have won national beer awards. For lunch I wound up ordering the pretzel with beer cheese, and ordered a honeycrisp ale. The shareable size of the menu isn't joking. It's very large and you're gonna want to share. I was so full after my pretzel that I couldn't even think about a second beer. The beer cheese was the BEST beer cheese I've ever eaten in my life. It was out of this world. The beer was also pretty spectacular. The beer was so good that I couldn't resist the urge to buy some wine by the bottle with the hopes it was just as good. I enjoyed everything at their outdoor seating while listening to live music. If I had gone with someone I definitely would of taken advantage of cornhole and drank wine by the glass. After eating I couldn't resist walking around the farm that had a ton of people running and smiling. In the back I observed the piggies, Eddie and Joe, napping. Also got to say hi to their pony's and goats . I walked through the orchard, and also the pick your own pumpkin patch. They have a huge slidefor the kids, and a playground. Highly recommend following this place on social media to stay up to date on menu changes, and event updates. Such an eventful Sunday afternoon. Definitely worth the visit.

I'd been curious about how the space had been transformed, so Nate and I stopped in recently while in town. The main building now houses a fresh market, coffee shop, gift shop, cider bar, and a bespoke barbershop. There is another building on the premises that is a separate boutique store called Pink & Frillos, but that wasn't open when we stopped by. It's a little bit of a lot of things, but what we experienced was nice. They also rent some part of the place as an event venue. I'm not sure if they still do u-pick apples, hayrides, corn mazes etc. or not. We ordered a meat, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich, a couple coffee drinks, and a doughnut. The employees were not overly friendly or even really smiling, so I agree that they could have been friendlier - they all seemed to be high school or college age. Our order was done quickly and we settled in to eat. The sandwich was hot and the croissant was buttery and soft. I really liked the crispy bacon on the sandwich. It was a good portion to split along with the cinnamon sugar doughnut, which was fresh and fluffy. My oat milk latte was decent but nothing special. They use Madcap coffee at Frugthaven. Overall we had a nice time and I'd come back to try the hard cider. There's some outdoor seating and the bar area looked spacious and airy. The old timey barbershop is cool, but feels a bit weird and out of place. Otherwise the other elements of the business seem to fit. They seem to be catering to an older/Millennial crowd that wants a good shot for Instagram, versus the more family-friendly farm that it used to be. While we understand they were closing in about an hour, the way we were treated felt unprofessional. We ordered one sandwich--the Hash Slingin' Slasher--and handed over our card to start a tab. From the start, we felt unwelcome. We sat in a corner and were being stared at by other customers, who appeared to be regulars & family members. The difference in treatment between them and us was striking. Most concerning was the young bartender, whose behavior was clearly unprofessional. She was rude and dismissive toward us, yet extremely friendly, upbeat, and attentive to everyone else. This made the atmosphere tense and uncomfortable for first-time guests. Around 7:06 PM, an older couple arrived. The staff greeted them warmly with smiles and even hugs. They had no issues ordering food, were asked about drinks, and were made to feel welcome. Meanwhile, we were rushed, ignored, and never asked about drinks. When I went up to order a mocktail, a bottle of peach sangria to go, and a box for our sandwich, all conversation stopped. Multiple regulars & family members turned and stared at me--it wasn't subtle. My fiancée noticed it too. It didn't feel like a "closing soon" situation; it felt exclusionary. We had stopped by once before near closing time and met Nicholas, who was very kind--that's why we came back. Sadly, his kindness couldn't overcome the unprofessional behavior and uncomfortable atmosphere. The canned meads are excellent, the bottled wines are solid, and the food itself was good, but the overall experience left us feeling unwelcome.
