Pros:
- high quality apartments with quality materials
- units are nearly soundproof from one another because of the concrete building
- management is great.
- rent and other fees are fair
Cons:
- Developers crammed as many parking spots as they possibly could in the lot. Very tight parking. NO GUEST SPOTS AT ALL. Guests have to walk a few blocks to nearby street parking or park in the school lot during off hours. During snowstorms, the lot often goes unplowed for a few days so it becomes chaos in already tight spaces. They offer garage parking in the senior living buildings across the parking lot but that defeats the purpose of paying for convenience to not have to go outside to get to your car.
- Amenities are okay. There's no pool but they easily could've added one or at least a hot tub
I live in the apartments but the townhomes come with personal garages. Unless you have a Smart car, you will need to do a 20 point turn to get in and out of the garages. The developers did a horrific job estimating how much room is needed in between buildings.
Overall, the place is nice, the staff is very friendly, the units are great. But, I won't be re-signing due to the parking. That's this complex's Achilles heel. Has the potential to be a really great place if something was to be done about that. read more
