Luke is the Property Manager and although I don't see him often, I can tell he is genuinely just a nice human. I've heard from staff themselves that he's great to work with. He also came to my apartment on a Sunday (I'm sure his day off) as I had a water alarm beeping and couldn't find it. He's open and requests feedback about the property and incorporates the feedback. I have two dogs so I've mentioned we should have a dog wash center, and we have one opening soon! I'm sure I'm not the sole reason and others have likely also requested but that just shows they listen to residents and take action. Daniel is amazing. He's friendly, helpful and obviously cares about his role and the residents. He's quick to reply, assist in anyway, and always happy to do so. I thankfully haven't needed a ton of maintenance but when I do need to submit a request they are quick to fix any issues. Rob is usually the maintenance guy that completes work orders these days and he's great at his job and super nice. He also is friendly with my dogs whenever he sees them (pretty much daily) and gives them ample pets. They get very excited whenever they see him. I've recently been exploring apartment options in DT Minneapolis. Now that I have encountered other management teams, I have a new appreciation for the culture at The Lyric. Yelp is full of negative reviews for other apartment complexes. The horror stories are, well, horrible. Those stories prompted me to give some love to Lyric with my own review. It's always spotlessly clean (thanks Irma!). Nate, the maintenance manager is responsive, and always happy to go the extra mile. Bri and Alyvia in the office are friendly, hardworking and tenant communications are excellent. We live in a very urban environment so you have to be mindful of your surroundings. The building is secure and there's a security guard here (who lives in the building) from 6pm-6am and I feel safe. I love the diversity and occasionally gritty edge to the neighborhood, but it's just 3 blocks to the Farmers Market and 4 to the Saints stadium, so the suburbs invade us throughout the week in the summer. It's 3 blocks to the Mississippi for great walks and Mears Park has concerts all the time. Guest parking is metered on-street or parking ramps nearby, so a little tricky for entertaining large groups of friends. The 333 amenities (common/game/theater rooms, 24 hour coffee bar, gym and lounge next to the rooftop deck) are beautiful. I feel proud of where I live. The rent is at the top end of my budget though, and if it goes up much I'll have to move, but I love it while I can afford it.

The appliances are brand new with lots of fancy features. The building is clean and well maintained. I have not had the opportunity to put in a housekeeping ticket as of yet. I did lose a very special earring down the drain and I asked the maintenance engineer if he would help me retrieve it. He had it on my counter within hours with a nice note. I am so grateful to Ben. I really like the common areas when I need to host some friends for a gathering. The areas are exceptionally clean, so we make sure to leave it the same way. Our packages are kept in room and an email is sent promptly when they arrive. The packages are organized in an easy to find fashion. Our neighbors are the best. If you have friends over they are respectful. We have a book club, seasonal get-togethers and art crawls. We do have many dog owners. I love the doggie biscuit pot at the entrance. I think all the doggies do as well. Lana and Calsey always keep it stocked. That is a Bonus! We have needed special favors and Calsey, Lana, Ben, Nate and Dee are extremely helpful. My printer was out of ink and I needed the lease agreement printed, a package placed outside the package room due to my late arrival, something hung...the list goes on and on and they never made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. We had an issue with trespassers camping out and management employed a security guard to ensure our safety. Calsey went as far as to fight city council to close our skyway access. She won! Thanks Calsey and team. These folks care and make you feel like part of the family. I never want to move out. I think they should convert these lofts into condos.

I can walk to work in 30 mins or take the bus. This was one of the many reason I wanted to rent here. The buses run so frequently which is ideal for me getting back and forth to Minneapolis on the weekends. The property is so inviting. The landscape is always well done and the pool area is always well kept. The caretaker is very friendly and does a wonderful job keeping the property clean. The maintenance workers are efficient and does a wonderful job at keeping the apartment clean after any repairs. The office staff is very responsive when you call and have an open door policy so you can feel free to stop by during business hours. I love that the each building only go up to the 3rd floor and only have 6 apartments on each floor. I feel safe when I enter the building because I can see the entire floor at a glance. I love that they have a laundry floor in each floor and you can use the laundry on any of the 3 floors. There's also an open yard area with gas grills for all the residents to use. The property is right across the street from Target, Cub Food, HarMar Mall and many restaurants. This is a supper plus for me because I don't drive. Again that is being picky. Everything is beyond we one could need for a great workout. Common areas are perfect. Spacious, modern, clean, easy to reserve where applicable. Parking is very affordable and one has no idea how valuable this is until winter has been set for a couple months. Location is perfect, close and easy access to highways and parks and close enough to drive or uber ride to uptown and even downtown. Supermarkets, pharmacy, parks, fast food and restaurants and within walking distance. Apartments are modern, spacious and quiet. Balconies are perfect size. The community is a mix of young professionals and some small families. All respectful, friendly and some outgoing. I guess we perceive differences depending on where we have lived in the world. Above all everyone is nice. Rules are enforced with a friendly heads up and us as tenants we have a duty to keep things clean, organized and within such set rules. I only wish I could have stayed longer ! Beginning with Taryn (Lifestyle Director) as well as The building Director Rick, I was treated like ROYALTY! I felt like I had been a valued tenant for years. Moving in took place while I was at work and the 222 staff took care of everything. Cort delivered all the furnishings and they were supervised by the staff. I came home to a bottle of champagne and a free pizza from Whole Foods which as you know, is DOWNSTAIRS !! Every morning their are cleaners cleaning the entire building including the yoga studio, amazing gym over looking the city, and the area downstairs where you get free STARBUCKS every day ! I felt so good showing friends where I got to live. The amenities are everything. The building is really good about keeping community engaged and letting residents know what is happening in the North Loop. There are always scooters around and the best places to eat and drink. Getting packages and sending packages has never been easier with an Amazon locker downstairs ! There are printers and fax machines and computers in a quiet office area that residents can use. I cannot thank the staff at 222 Hennepin enough for being as kind and attentive every day as they are. This is not your standard service. You are paying for luxury and that is exactly what you get !
