Date of stay: 10-AUG to 12-AUG-2025, Deluxe Family Room, 2 adults. Pleasantly surprised by the…read moresuper spacious parking lot, lovely hotel lobby, and large size of our room. My impression (based on the upscale appearance of the lobby) was that there was bellman service available to assist with luggage, however that was not the case. There were luggage carts available although the carpeted hallway floors were difficult to navigate. There was a wedding reception in progress when we checked in on Sunday afternoon so wait staff was scattered around and easy to find. We had a bite to eat in their small indoor cafe for dinner since the outdoor deck tables were being utilized by wedding guests and we weren't familiar with the area. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was very spacious. Unfortunately the small refrigerator in our room was NOT working. The next morning we went back to the cafe for brunch (it was approximately 10:30am) and there were NO servers anywhere! I waited approximately 15 min and I even walked over to the Lobby to ask for assistance. I was shocked and disappointed by this lack of standard customer service! We eventually got served but the menu for brunch didn't exactly contain a wide or balanced assortment. My husband realized he left a small metal iPhone stand on the table after he finished eating, but when he spoke to the lobby staff when we checked out, they said no one turned it in. We did not have time to utilize the spa or swimming pool or gym equipment, so I can't attest to the quality of those amenities.

The rooms are very clean, and housekeeping are thorough. In-room amenities include tea/coffee making facilities, and a TV with Freeview channels. High Speed Internet is available in-room for a fee. WiFi is available in the bar area for the use of guests at no extra cost. Room service is available, or you may dine in the restaurant. Full breakfast may also be included in the room tariff. The staff are very friendly and go the extra mile to please. Being in the heart of Warwick, it is a prime location for sight seeing, or just enjoying the charms of this historic town. All in all, a positive experience. Now for my criticisms...the night staff need help! The door is generally locked around 11pm each night, at which point you are to ring the door bell for assistance (e.g. if you are coming in after a night out at one of Warwick's many eateries or pubs). Unfortunately the night porter is also tasked with cleaning the lounge area. Often times he is unable to hear the bell over the vacuum cleaner. The upshot of this is that you're stuck standing outside waiting for the bell to actually be heard! A minor annoyance, but they might do well to engage a person to handle the late night cleaning so the night porter can focus on tending to the guests.

I would really recommend any travelers because this is a prime location. I wouldn't mind staying here again just purely for the location.

I usually like Doubletree and I was not disappointed at this one. I arrived very late and was…read moregreeted by pleasant and helpful staff and my fresh-baked cookie! As I have read in other reviews, the hotel looks not to have been renovated in a while but that was not a show-stopper for me. It was older but my room was cozy and clean and my housekeeper took excellent care. It was so wonderful to get in from a long day of working to find towel animals with candy pieces and a heart! The food in the restaurant was good and the kitchen and bar staff were equally great. I had an all-around good experience here. So long as I am treated well and my surroundings are well kept, I am satisfied. I will stay here again on my next business trip!

This is an okay hotel. A few positives and negatives but overall an okay stay for the price we…read morepaid. The staff were friendly and in the main pretty helpful. Their was a long check-in queue when we arrived and the manager came over to apologise and say that one of the bar staff was going to come round and get us drinks to apologise. A nice gesture until we were told it was a choice of lemonade or coke! All areas of the hotel were clean and our room & ensuite were a good size. We were on the third floor which for some reason was very, very hot! The air con in the room worked well, but the corridor and communal areas were toasty. The hotel has a Living Well gym and pool attached. We never used the gym so I can't comment but did use the pool. We had a 10 minute wait when we arrived at the gym reception as they had ran out of clean towels, not ideal with a wriggly baby to entertain. The pool is a nice size but seemed to have a lot of sand at the bottom. Urgh. There is also a jacuzzi (which was out of order), a steam room and a sauna. The food at the hotel was good. There is a large retail park across the road from the hotel with a Nandos, Cinema, Tesco etc, and originally we were going to head out to eat dinner. But after the long wait to check in it was way past my son's dinner time and he was cranky so we ate in the bar (as the hotel restaurant didn't open till 7pm). Children eat free with a paying adult and the choice of food was great. Fresh veggies and hummus dip to start and pasta with a tomato sauce which was rammed with veggies go a big tick from me for being healthy and a big tick from my son for being delicious! Our food was tasty, a generous sized chicken burger. And breakfast the next morning had a great selection from the usual cooked selection, breads, pastries, fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, mmmmmm. One real annoyance was the lack of any baby change facilities in the communal areas of the hotel, made for some interesting nappy changes! This could be rectified by the hotel so easily.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the meeting space was very good, not large, but just right for our conference and meetings. The breakfast buffet was pretty standard fare and the restaurant staff was great. Lunch at the conference was also good. The bartenders were good, but they have a very limited selection of whiskey/whisky, which was surprising. It's also a cashless hotel. There are other shops and restaurants not too far away.

Check in was very speedy and the staff were welcoming. We were located on the second floor and there are stairs or one lift. I would imagine that waiting for the lift may present difficulties during busy periods, but it was fine when we were there. The bathroom was modern and well equipped with bath and shower and separate shower attachment. Complimentary shower gel/bath gel and soap was provided (Arran Aromatics). The bedroom was very nicely fitted and the bed was comfortable and had additional pillows located in the wardrobe. There was a flat screen TV and a writing desk and an iPod docking station. There was also tea and coffee making facilities. The temperature control was great. We had a bed and breakfast rate of £38 per night for a double room (brililant value) and the breakfast was lovely. There was a choice of fresh fruit, fruit salad, juices, pastries, cereals and full English breakfast. All nicely cooked and hot. If you fancied a quick coffee, there is a Starbucks located in the main lobby where you can get a snack and a coffee. There is also the Pub where you can get pub food as well as The Verve Grill for dinners. They have some excellent value deals on meals. One of the offers in The Pub was their Friday night "Burger Me" deal where you could get a burger for £1. The hotel also has a fully equipped leisure centre with pool and use is included in the price. We had a lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
