My girlfriend and I stayed here for the weekend at the end of February (27th & 28th) and it was very good. The staff seem friendly (what we saw of them), the lady on the front desk even wished my girlfriend a happy birthday and gave us a slightly nicer room with a nice view of the city, which did not disappoint. Breakfast was slightly disappointing as when we down at about half 9 there was a limited choice, hot food was just sausages (regular and veggie), baked beans and cheese omelettes. So for those of you thinking a full English was included, think again. My girlfriend was looking for some fruit of sorts but nothing could be found, however; toast, bagels, croissants and cereal were available with a selection of hot and cold drinks. But as it's a free breakfast it didn't really bother me!
The room itself was clean, very modern and had everything we needed. With it being a suite rather than a hotel, people do use these for weeks at a time so I understood the odd mark or stain! However these were rare to find! The kitchen was in excellent condition with a sink, dishwasher, microwave oven, and all kitchen utensils. The bed was amazing! Very spacious and comfy.
Security to the building is excellent, to get access to the rooms you need to scan your room key card in the lift. The entrance is a hallway leading to the set of lifts and the reception is on the 2nd floor, so from the 2nd floor up the scanning of the key card will be required.
All in all this place has been a lovely addition to a great weekend, and I would be more than happy to come back here again for a weekend. I would also recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay for a few weeks as a home from home for a business trip! With free Wifi, it beats the travelodge..... read more
