Not only are the Australian requirements complicated and long, Covid took out almost all flights. Thankfully, Jennifer and Britt's Bow Wow were with us every step of the way. Even from the first inquiry, she took the time to explain the process and a very detailed quote with different options whereas other companies sent generalized emails with twice the price quoted. The process went smoothly at first with Jennifer keeping us updated on everything and patiently answering all my many emails throughout. When the airlines had a miscommunication (by no fault of Britt's Bow Wow or myself) she was there working all day to make sure our Pup could get on a plane. We were useless as we had already made it to Australia ourselves and no longer had phone service. Jennifer even used WhatsApp to give us a call to make sure we understood everything that was happening and that our dog was going to be alright. She and Chris the owner were able to get our dog on the next flight and now our happy pup is all settled in our new home in Australia. So ridiculously grateful to have found Britt's Bow Wow! We had every red flag before we took them here and left them for five days. Leading up to taking the dogs here we called them several times and left messages asking if they had availability and if we can take the dogs there so we and the dogs could check the place out. No one ever called us so about two weeks go by and we tell the girl that answered Can we come up there NOW today she said yes at three so we went the place was old but clean and they told us the our two dogs could be together in the kennels in the back and they could go in and out and they could we could see that. So we book the date and the girl said as far the dogs shots and all that like any other boarding place the vet just e mails it over. And the girl said pack your dogs whatever toys bones etc..So the flight was leaving that Monday at six am so we had to take the dogs the Sunday before. No problem get there the lady I guess lives at the kennel came out said we woke her up and she was discombobulated and out of it. So she says where's the paperwork we explained the girl said the vet could email tomorrow she said nope she needs the paperwork NOW. After 45 mins of haggling she says ok send it tomorrow. Great. Then I give the lady the bucket of food and a bag this bag had what you could imagine for two dogs who we consider family we have never left alone so we had bones toys treats two of our shirts with perfume and cologne on them pig ears I mean over the top we were sad we were leaving them. That Monday roles around they never called about the paperwork so we never sent it. Friday roles around we call hey coming in 45 mins to get the dogs . We get there the girl says we love your dogs we love playing with them last time they were here they loved it mind you the dogs have never been there and she called both dogs the wrong name at that point who fuking cares we just want our dogs. So we walk back there wand get them and they are howling and they never howl but they were happy. My wife takes the dogs I grab the food and that bag that Big bag Full of there toys medicine I forgot they had allergy medicine and the two shirts and just a bunch of stuff spoiled dogs get . We get in the car the bag was never even touched not one toy out of the package not one pigs ear out of the wrapper the mess still in the bottle not open the two shirts the two damn shirts still folded. If the place would of just said look your dogs will be safe this is a no thrills place they won't get toys or played with but on the other hand we won't poke sticks in there kennels and be mean to them I'd say ok at least you know what your getting. So that's what you're getting. And jefe and Honcho don't play that game .

They offer a variety of special treats and experiences for your pup there, but you can also opt to give your pup a more basic stay/day of play. They diligently checked his vaccines, observed his temperament, and made sure he was a good boy before taking him in. Not to mention they went above and beyond for us. I'm happy to make this experience a more regularly scheduled event for us. He absolutely loved it and his caretakers sent me photos all day. I've included them here.

When we pull up, they get super excited and rush to exit our car and see their human and fur friends. My first visit, when I toured, yes it was lots of loud dog barking and I remember feeling a little sad like oh am I taking them to the pound. Okay look the dogs are barking, because of "we the people". I had to think about this. When my own 2 dogs have a new guest here they start "going crazy" frankly lol. And when I walk the neighborhood, dogs that were otherwise chilling, you know what they do as people jog, walk by their turf? Many of them run to the living room window and yap yap. Imagine this multiplied by all doggies together at once getting excited. It can get loud. Ask a parent with multiple small kids or any teacher/daycare provider of little kids.... it's not always prim and proper! But everyone is safe and loved. Same here- enough said! The staff is smart, nice and caring and does their job. The rates afford my little ones to get social interaction. This is not a place that tries to be foo-foo fancy bells and whistles dog castle... extra money... just for some BS to be going once you're gone. They are low frills but DEFINITELY not NO frills as they have huge play area and an indoor pool which I can't wait for my dogs to get lessons in. Do yourself a favor. Become a customer, get in their books with the required documents, get your dog acquainted with a couple visits of daycare so you can feel confident and everything's in order for when the time comes and you need overnight boarding for some travel! When I picked her up, she had actually chewed through her skin and had a gaping, open wound that required surgery to repair. I then used Pet Nanny the next time I went out of town. Janet Connor is wonderful! I had a pet sitter named Morgan that took care of my cat Feebie. The daily reports that Morgan left after I arrived home were so cute, and I was confident that Feebie had a good time while I was gone. I could see that she had all the attention that I would have given her if I was home. Sadly, Feebie passed on a few months ago due to health problems that were untreatable. But, I will always be grateful for the excellent care that Morgan gave Feebie; I would confidently recommend Pet Nanny very highly to anyone!
