They offer a variety of special treats and experiences for your pup there, but you can also opt to give your pup a more basic stay/day of play. They diligently checked his vaccines, observed his temperament, and made sure he was a good boy before taking him in. Not to mention they went above and beyond for us. When I picked her up, she had actually chewed through her skin and had a gaping, open wound that required surgery to repair. I then used Pet Nanny the next time I went out of town. Janet Connor is wonderful! I had a pet sitter named Morgan that took care of my cat Feebie. The daily reports that Morgan left after I arrived home were so cute, and I was confident that Feebie had a good time while I was gone. I could see that she had all the attention that I would have given her if I was home. Sadly, Feebie passed on a few months ago due to health problems that were untreatable. But, I will always be grateful for the excellent care that Morgan gave Feebie; I would confidently recommend Pet Nanny very highly to anyone! For any animal, cats especially, being in a boarding situation is very stressful. Being in the comfort of their own home is the best situation. Robbie told me coat length doesn't affect how cold a dog gets, which is simply untrue for Cavalier spaniels with wavy hair. Even after I explained that I wanted to keep him fluffy and insulated, he kept offering clipper lengths as if I should know what they meant. I told him to keep my dog as fluffy as possible and agreed to a six only because he said it would still meet my needs. When I returned, my dog was shaved down to the bone. A six cut should never have been suggested if I said I wanted to keep my dog's coat full for winter. As a groomer, I expected better judgment and care. It seems there was a misunderstanding, but when I give two clear reasons not to cut him short and you still propose the shortest cut--and reassure me it's "a good idea"--you lose my trust and my business. When I called upset about the cut, Robbie told me achieving what I wanted would've cost $150 because it required a hand trim. I told him I didn't care about the cost, and only then did he apologize. I even canceled another groomer to support him after he shared he was going through a lot. I guess that's what I get for trying to be kind. I've been coming here mainly for a face, fanny, and feet trim with a bath, which was a good deal: but after this, my dog won't be returning even for that.
