DO NOT fall for their scam!…read moreThey start off sharing that they are good honest, Christian people, who have been in the business of painting and dry wall repair for years. Bonny will tell you Julio doesn't speak or understand English so she has to be on site to translate for him. None of it is true. Julio speaks and understands English just fine, he is not skilled in dry wall repair or re texturing. We hired Julio Paint Service to repair kitchen ceiling dry wall, re texture and paint mainly because they both agreed that this was Julio's specialty. He did a very poor job. We now believe the job was out of his skill set. He worked very sloppy and careless. He barely knew how to properly cover the kitchen to protected it from dry wall debris, he got dry wall compound on our painted walls and appliances, he stepped on our island counter top, onto our glass top stove to reach the ceiling and completely shattered it - instead of simply using a ladder to reach. Julio didn't share the bad news about the damage with us the entire day, instead he covered up the damage to our glass top stove. Bonny called late that evening to tell us the glass top had been cracked, when it had actually been shattered. Later that week we had to micro manage Julio and Bonny through the rest of the repair which inconvenienced my husband and I. Julio continued to work sloppy and careless. Bonny complained about all of her medical issues the entire job. To make matters worse, after we bought all of the supply for Julio to use. Bonny came to us before the job started and asked us to advance her $200 on labor fee because they had an unexpected car repair. Although providing them with money up front was not in their contract, since we are nice, honest people, we agreed to advance them $200. BAD idea, the entire job, from Monday to Friday, was done poorly, the glass top stove is $700+ to repair. Bonnie and Julio both have avoided us every time we text or call to make arrangements to collect money from them for the botched repair and damage to our glass top stove. Please, PLEASE do not fall for Julio Paint Services' scam. Julio and Bonny are unprofessional and dishonest individuals.

During my encounter with Sam, he said that perfection is impossible, but he would get me as close to perfection as possible and that is exactly what he did. From the moment I met Sam, he was nothing but straight forward and honest. I knew, after talking with him, that I did not want anyone else to do my repairs. He was my only choice. I had several things that needed repairing: he gave me some self-help remedies for the issues that did not require a professional. My kitchen ceiling was literally hanging due to an AC leak (and yes there was mold) and I also had ceiling damage in my bedroom from a leaky roof. For more reasons than one, I had not gotten the repairs fixed, which were ongoing issues. I had gotten the ceiling repaired once before, but the AC started leaking again. The 2nd time was worse than the first. I was unable to open my kitchen cabinets doors. Also, it was the first thing visitors saw when they entered my home. It was an eyesore that could not be ignored. Sam, Josh, and Cristian (who helped with the demolition part of the job) were all amazing! I do not believe that I can be any more impressed with my repairs. My ceiling in the kitchen and bedroom both look new again, one would never know how bad it was. It took three days for them to complete the job, and in those 3 days I learned so much from Sam. He is as much as an educator as he is a carpenter, it really should be a part of his retirement plan. I cannot say enough about how grateful I am to have met Mr. Sam and his sons. They are totally awesome at what they do! And that comes from the bottom of my heart!!! They made the process easy and less stressful. I would refer Sam repeatedly, hands down, because he is truly a trustworthy professional who is worth every cent that he charges!
