Texas Greatest Remodelers were VERY SMARTLY PRICED compared to the others. and what they offered was the best of the four. 1) friendly project manager "MO" arrived ON-time measured my driveway and came up with a price right then and there. he explained what his company offers. No paying until work done and i'm satisfied. "mo" kept in phone/text contact with me the whole way and was present when work started and in/out throughout. i was invited to observe while men were completing work. 2) fair estimate with no surprises and no moving the goal posts, followed by contract. The contract made things EASY for my HOA as i sent the paper to them and they approved within days. 3) best quality. the other companies offered 3k to 3.5k psi concrete. TGR gave me 4.5K psi. Prompt service without compromising quality. Rain was in forecast and "mo" explained that rain may delay installation to ensure best results. it didn't rain afterall and the job proceeded on schedule! 4) I was thrilled with the beautiful job. so beautiful and no more big bumps and ugly cracks. Problem one my sprinkler heads had been damaged during work. The plumbing company shared my information with Mike, and he immediately contacted me Mike and Trey came to our home and spent two hours conducting a thorough evaluation of our foundation issues. They actively listened to our explanation of all the issues we were having with our home - foundation and plumbing. They explained the causation for my foundation issues, discussed how they could help to resolve the issue; as well as, shared how we could mitigate future foundation issues. (I did not experience this with my previous foundation company).Mike answered all my questions/concerns. He also provided superb customer service by being available to answer all my questions and sharing what to expect during the repair process. One of the items that needed repairing ASAP was the top of our chimney and the now-mangled chimney cap. Called Mason Crew as soon as my phone service was restored. Lupe came out and gave me a quote the next day. Within a week, our chimney top and cap had been repaired completely. Even though they weren't…read morethe cheapest option, we chose them because Jasper, Cristian, and their crew clearly stood out, and we're so glad we did. Their craftsmanship was exceptional, and their professionalism was evident from day one. From our first conversation, Jasper took the time to walk us through his portfolio and explain the different types of concrete, which really helped us feel confident in our decisions. We hired Cure-Rite Concrete for two major projects. The first was installing a brand-new three-car driveway with additional sidewalks and replacing the damaged concrete supporting the pillars of our garage apartment. The second project required them to travel nearly 20 miles to my parents' home to replace an aging boardwalk with a slanted cement walkway leading to the entrance, and to bulldoze a 50-year-old cement-and-brick pillar to make room for a small side patio. Their crew worked seamlessly across both properties, and impressively, both projects were completed within a week and done beautifully. We had a few minor hiccups along the way, but Jasper and Cristian were quick to respond and addressed every issue promptly and professionally. If you have a project involving new cement, do yourself a favor and hire Cure-Rite Concrete. In fact, my parents were so pleased with the results that they're planning to hire them again to install a cement back patio, a side patio, and to replace their old two-car driveway. SOOO happy Cristian responded to our review in the manner that he did -- perfectly shows who he and his company is, what they stand for, and what awaits you as a homeowner. 1) Admits that one of HIS EMPLOYEES DID make those promises to us. This is the only reason we decided to move forward with the job -- "nothing will scratch this product". Particularly our dogs and entry foot traffic. If we would've been told that there was ANY risk of scratches, we would've never moved forward and co toned looking for other treatments. We were deceived. 2) "Employee is no longer with us" Just because you fired someone one later, doesn't mean that the promises (lies), and work (mess) they did while representing your company magically go away. It was your employee, working under your name, take accountability, that's business. 3) "Sorry we couldn't keep your dog from scratching your floor" Again, dodging accountability and flipping the blame back to the homeowner. Outrageous statement to make after having admitted that his employee did make promises of "nothing will scratch this product", and us having specifically asked about - dogs, shoes, rocks, and dragging furniture. But what he will tell you now is, "you should've known". As if the homeowner is expected to be the expert. Extremely childish. 4) Despite whatever he may say now, IN WRITING, he agreed to pay back 50% of the job ($2500) over 10 months. And after 5 months, only $200 has been paid. He will dodge every call, every text, and when you do finally reach him, he will LIE and say "oh yes, I'll send it right now" , and then have you start the monthly chase cycle again. He made this agreement himself. Not a former employee. So what's the excuse now? Yet another example of Cristian and his company failing in their promises and commitments.
