( mind you; Ebony was working today, she took the guest ahead of me ) Today they assigned me a woman who gave so so customer service as well as I had to wait 30 minutes after my appointment time to be seen . I get finished with the appointment and my hair looks like nothing happened to it. My edges and roots not straight at all. The stylist even had the nerve to say that maybe I need different hot tools for my texture. I don't appreciate how my request for someone who can accommodate my hair type was completely disregarded. Drybar is supposed to be a place where all ethnicities can get their hair done and done properly. I'm so sad today went like this. The photos are in the car immediately after appointment. The two front desk reps were very unhelpful with finding a solution as well. The energy overall today was not a fun festive vibe as I head to travel for the holidays.

Would love to do a poll: if you receive an email on 1/14/26 about an encouragement to sign up for a Blo Membership with a specified $80 a month & it comes from the Blo Rocklin location, and because of this email, you cancelled your existing Blo membership and re-enroll, is it the owner's responsibility to rectify the situation? No disclaimer. No asterisks. When you are given the owner's number, she stops responding as soon as you put any kind of pressure on her to hear you out and open up the room for a conversation (especially after originally leaving a 5 star review and being a Blo member). She refuses to give out an email, and just mentions that she set up a drip campaign 4 years ago and she has no idea where this came from (this came from her location's inbox). I believe that mistakes happen, but attitude and lack of effort to rectify is not a good look for the owner. Bringing this to the attention of others: there are other Blo salons that have $80 a month, even if membership is now $95, if you booked or cancelled under a pretense that came from the official location's messaging, you have a case to stand on. Bring this to the attention of corporate just like I will be doing.

I booked a 12 pm appointment for a balayage and cut. I used the Vagaro app something that I've used at many other places. I show up to my appointment and wait. I'm checked in on twice and was told I'd be seen soon. Well I wasn't. In reality I was waiting over 40 minutes and by the time I would have been seen it'd be almost an hour past my scheduled appointment. Really if the reverse situation happened and I was that late not only would they have already cancelled my appointment they would have charged me a fee. What's icing on the cake is another customer had a 12:30 appointment and came in much after me and was seen before me :/. I'm glad it worked out for him. But honestly the customer service was terrible for me. I felt so frustrated and sad on what was supposed to be a fun self care me time. I don't need an excuse and a reason for your mistake. Own up to it. If you do care about your customer then do something about it. Don't just smile and give some excuse that it's okay and it's not that late. I would have preferred to be called or texted. If you're running late let your customer know. Don't lie and force them to sit and wait with not knowing when they'll be seen. Perhaps you should have asked me if a 1 pm appointment would have been okay. But instead they did not do that. They told me it would be soon when in reality it was much much later. They had no regard for my feelings or time. I also have found that in order to try to catch up on time to make for another appointment (whoever would have been after me) there's always a risk that they might rush you. And that is not something I want to ever risk for my hair and color. My time is valuable too and that was disregarded and disrespected. Unfortunately I won't be coming back. Customer service is everything in the business I choose to support.
