We used The Blowout for wedding hair and makeup, and it turned out stunning. Including the bride, there were seven sets of hair and makeup. The stylists were fast and knew exactly what they were doing. I opted to paying for the hair/make up trial before the wedding and wedding day it turned out even better than the trial. I don't know how Lexi manages it, but I couldn't feel a single bobby pin the whole day! They worked fast and efficiently, and I would highly recommend them. read more

My mom and I came in on a Sunday morning for makeup and hair for my son's wedding. Lexi did my updo and Diane did my makeup. Nancy did my mom's makeup. The positive vibes were amazing and welcoming as I was really nervous about the outcome, especially on my thin, fine hair. These ladies worked some magic and did an amazing job. It was a beautiful start to a beautiful day! read more

This is one of my favorite places for a blowout and makeup--I've been coming here for years. They recently moved to Old Town Elk Grove, where there's plenty of parking both in the area and at the salon itself. The ambiance is always upbeat and welcoming, which instantly puts you in a great mood. I had my hair and makeup done by Stacey and Nancy, and they both did a phenomenal job. I couldn't be happier with the results. I highly recommend this place--you won't be disappointed! read more

This is a must go place for all your beauty needs! I booked here for my hair and make up for a wedding I was in. Stacy did my hair and I was so happy. It was flawless. The Blowout - Hair Styling - Blowout loose curls! - Blow Dry/Out Services Near Me - Elk Grove, California

I recently hired The Blowout team to do hair and makeup for my bridal party, which included about ten girls. We all visited the salon together, and they were wonderful--welcoming champagne, snacks, and allowed us to play our own music throughout. I absolutely loved how my hair and makeup turned out, and everyone in my party was thrilled with their looks too. One thing I wish I'd known ahead of time: there were other salon patrons getting their hair done at the same time. It wasn't a problem overall, but I would've appreciated knowing this in advance. Despite that, my experience was excellent, and I would highly recommend The Blowout to any bridal party in need of hair and makeup services! read more

What a wonderful place to get your glam on. I had Nancy do my mother and I's bridal glam and I can't recommend her enough. She was patient, attentive, and talented. The vibes here are great, they have big open windows, good music, and a relaxed atmosphere. The pricing is fair, and we left feeing ready and pretty for the big day! read more

Nancy at The Blowout Salon is that girl when it comes to hair! I've been seeing her for almost two years now, and let me tell you--every time I walk out, my hair is bouncy, voluminous, and straight-up luscious. She just knows how to bring your hair to life! Not only is she amazing at what she does, but she's also the sweetest human ever. Super polite, super chill, and makes you feel like you've been besties forever. I can be a little shy about asking her to cover my grays, but she makes it feel totally normal--no awkwardness at all. The prices? Totally reasonable. The vibe? Friendly and fun. The results? Chef's kiss. Nancy is my forever hair girl and I couldn't be more grateful! read more

I messaged the blowout through yelp on a day they were closed for an appointment request. I got a message back maybe 10-15 mins later. I was pleasantly surprised! They were able to accommodate my late time of 5pm as I get off of work around 4:30 I was scheduled with Nancy and she was so cute!! I was really a fan of her and the place itself. You can't beat the prices. I was very happy with the services I got my hair turned out perfect. She washed it. Dries and gave me soft curls. I am definitely a long time customer and I plan to be back many many more times. Highly recommend! read more

Fantastic staff. I had hot curls and my makeup done. Both stylists were very professional and sweet.

I can't say enough good things about Stacie! She's amazing at cutting and layering--my hair always ends up looking soft, bouncy, and super flattering. It's like she just gets what works for your face and hair type, without you needing to say much at all. Plus, she's one of the kindest people you'll meet. So easy to talk to, genuinely cares about how you feel, and makes the whole experience feel super comfortable. You walk out looking feeling great. If you've been hunting for a stylist who's both talented and lovely, go see Stacie--you won't regret it! read more

Stacey is amazing and their new location is super cute and convenient. I've been going to Stacey for years and she never disappoints.

They always do an amazing job and did my daughter's makeup for homecoming. Looked gorgeous!!

Great service, makeup and hair styling done well, the ladies are all respectful and fun. Always go here when I have an event.

We used the Yelp appointment request app just 2 days before the prom. Dur to some misunderstandings, we needed a last minute appointment for a haircut and style. Stacie replied promptly and had availability. Great communication! We arrived for the appointment and were immediately taken back to a station. Stacie was very personable, had great rapport with my daughter and did a terrific job. We are very happy with the experience and would recommend Stacie and The Blowout to anyone. read more

It worked out so well for attending a wedding event. The stylist did what I asked for on my hair, Tysm. Hollywood waves were quick 45 mins and easy maintain....I think if the event was closer, I would if asked for a later time. My hair hold for a good 6 hrs before it slow dropped. And throughout the night the waves stayed, just looser waves. read more

I have had my hair highlighted by Stacy twice now. I love it!!! Typically stylists struggle with turning my hair blonde. I have even walked out of a salon a couple times with my hair the color of the inside of a cantaloupe! Stacy got it perfect her first try!! She does great work! I left the salon the first time feeling like a whole new woman. It felt good to feel good about myself again! On top of doing awesome work, she is a hoot to chat with!!! I drive up from southern ca to visit family and schedule my hair appts around that. Go see Stacy.. you will love her work! read more

my hair done was done by nancy. She noticed little things she didnt like and didnt mind taking my hair apart to fix it. She was still able to do my updo within 40 minutes. My hair stayed on for hours! MY makeup was done by april. I told her that i didnt want anything too harsh, and she listened and didnt mind taking off or adding more, if i didnt like it. It took about 45 min. Both were excellent, and i would definately ask for them back! read more

Stacy and Nancy were incredible!!! This dream team did hair and make up for myself and my bridesmaids. They were professional, efficient, and down to have a good time! They travelled from Elk Grove to my hotel in Placerville. It was great being able to just get ready in the suite with my friends and family. Stacy and Nancy brought everything you could possibly need. Our hair and makeup stayed the entire day! We started at 10am with hair and make up. The wedding ended at 11pm. We all looked flawless through the entire night! Highly recommend! read more

I have been going to this establishment for the past 10 years now. I've see Stacy, and she never fails to amaze me! I love the warm environment of the salon and how friendly everyone is. Hello All, I'm back again with a more updated review. Firstly, can I just say how incredible all staff are. I've been coming here monthly for a few years now. I've built such an amazing relationship with this place and the staff within it. There's absolutely never been a time I've been disappointed. They also offer the Brazilian Blowout which I've had twice and I'll probably consistently get. I bleach my hair and get it done often so it truly made all the difference when styling my hair and just all around the maintenance of my hair. Also, I have very thick, long, and curly hair and my hair is so much smooth and not frizzy at all. I also get my nails done here and the nail technician is such a perfectionist, she does an amazing job!! The Blowout is a place of many hats and talents, hair services, nail services, lashes, and they even offer makeup services. I highly recommend this place!!!!!!!!! read more

I booked the blowout for my wedding on June 8. My schedule was crazy so I didn't have time to do a makeup trail and I was not disappointed. Stacie and Apirl arrived at 930 and did 8 girls hair and makeup and were done by 130. They even redid touch ups if needed. Stacie and Apirl are super easy to work with and friendly. Each girl got exactly what the wanted, and they all looked incredible. I'm beyond happy with the turnout!!! read more

I stumbled across this place on Yelp when I was in desperate need of a blowout. What I did was stumble across a gold mine. Not only do they offer blowout/hair services, they also offer full makeup application. I have no doubt all of the stylists and makeup artists are amazing but I HIGHLY recommend APRIL for both hair and makeup. This girl will hook you up! Whether you have an event or just a night out, this is the place to go! Also, the ladies in here are so sweet and welcoming, you'll feel super comfortable right away. So when you have a night out coming up or just want to treat yourself, make an appointment and check out The Blowout! read more

I made an appointment at 3 pm. I come in for my appointment and they put me with this woman who did a Horrible blow out last time. Didn't really know how to do a blow out without adding curling iron curls. Even though she was willing to take me. It didn't work last time so it wouldn't work this time. I was there at 1pm they mentioned a 1:15 appt but there would be no time to wash and blow out so I came in at 3 and still didn't even get seen because they switched people and I wasn't happy about that. They don't answer their phones. The place is nice but the bathroom is Filthy ( the toilet, the trash and floors) and the fact that it's ALL women is SAD. read more

Make sure you make an appointment when you go and if you are in a hurry do let them know as they take their time to do hair and everything! read more

I had my hair and makeup as well as my sisters hair and makeup done here for an engagement party. They did an amazing job! We both got updos. We both like more natural makeup, nothing too dramatic or caked on and they were able to make that happen for us. They did a great job. Even with all the dancing my hair stayed in place :) Their location is nice, prices are reasonable, and their staff is really friendly. Unfortunately I've been trying to reach out to them for a few weeks now, left messages and hit contact us through their website and haven't heard anything back. I hope this is just due to the coronavirus situation. A great spot to get ready for any nice event. read more
