My hubs continued using her, today he left. His appointment was at 10:15, he left 25 minutes later as she never acknowledged his waiting, she was still laughing, talking with her earlier appointment. The salon is in the process of getting painted and new flooring. The painter made a massive mess of the salon and the owner went off the deep end with clients in the salon today. She was in the back room (no doors or curtains as soundproof) yelling at her colleagues. The number of times she said "s&@tshow," variations of "f*%k," and most offensive, she dropped the c word. Here's the full context, "I don't want to be a c#%t, but this [paint job] is a f#%king s#%tshow!" Yeah, a five minute expletive tirade, no exaggerations. I am by no means a prude but I draw the line at hearing the c word dropped left and right. I feel so bad for the staff. I asked my stylist to blink twice if she felt unsafe. I love my hair and my stylist that rents space this salon but it was a horrible experience and I don't want to go back! read more

This salon is so cute! It's close to the freeway with plenty of parking. I have been getting my hair done by Courtney J for over a decade. When I first came to her she did an AMAZING color correction. When I tell you my hair was messed up with a harsh ombré line from dark to orangey blonde - I mean yikes! She is wonderful with cuts, she's done everything for me from a blunt bob to long layers with curtain bangs. Where she excels is with color. Sarah did such a great job on my hair! I have super thick, curly, and long 4b/c hair and she was able to work wonders! She was able to flat iron it and get it super straight! It was perfect for my birthday weekend! I wish I got better pictures of it. But she is amazing! I took my son to a Supercuts the day before he was leaving for camp. I sat back and let him explain what he wanted. When we got home and he showered and styled his hair he started crying because of how terrible the hair cut was. By that time everything was closed except the Boulevard Salon said open until 9 on google. I called and talked with Sarah, explaining to her what had happened and asking if they could squeeze him in. She said no one was at the salon because they open/close based off appointments. Instead of allowing my son to go off to summer camp with a terrible cut, she left her family Saturday evening at 8pm to save our day. She was a life saver, was so sweet and did an excellent job to turn a terrible cut into something my son felt confident with. I am so grateful and she definitely earned a new customer going above and beyond to help us out. read more

I would like to start this with the fact that my star rating has nothing to do with the salon itself. It's beautiful, very nicely laid out and all the girls were super sweet. Here's where my stars come in, i came in for a cut and color, i wanted to go just one shade darker than my natural hair (dark blonde is my natural) and add some soft highlights to give it a little dimension. To make a long story short, after 2 hours in the chair, i came out with black hair and 90's style bright blonde highlights. Betty was super sweet, but completely missed the mark on what I asked for. Teri is the manicurist at Boulevard Salon. I used to be a manicurist myself, but I'm so old I can't reach my feet anymore! Teri has given me the best pedicures I've ever had. I'm picky about cuticles and polish, and she does a superb job with both. I live in North Sacramento, but it's so worth traveling to EG to get such good treatment. Facial Heaven..... by Kelly. On Tuesday I received an amazing facial (dermalogica multi-vitamin anti-aging facial)! Wow, Kelly has an amazing touch. She immediately made me feel comfortable. The term "facial" doesn't do her service justice. She massages your shoulders, arms & hands. She thoroughly explains what she is using on your face, why and it's benefits. Before I came here I tried to do my own bikini wax (yikes) however thankfully I found Kelly and she is a pro. I now get my waxing done here and she ensures its a smooth process. Lisa Mizani is my hair stylist and I adore her! She listens closely and always does exactly what I ask for. I get my hair colored, highlighted, and cut by her and she does a beautiful job with it all. My hair is the shiniest and healthiest it's ever been after getting it colored. I have been going to Andrea for over 15 years and have never been disappointed. I have a ton of hair and get a cut and highlight with two colors and I'm out within 2 1/2-3 hours. Other places take half your day when getting highlights and squeeze others in while your processing. Andrea is so fast and precise!
