I love this place so much!!! I always go here for everything. The only place I trust for my nails, hair, eyebrows and so much more. Really a one stop shop for all beauty services and needs. The staff is sweet and quick to work. It's a nice and clean, quant shop, I recommend asking for Anna! Very nice lady who is very helpful! read more

I called at 10:00am on Sunday for an appointment at noon. Came in and they were practicing covid 19 safety protocols, 6 feet distancing and cleaning in between clients. I felt safe in the salon there were 2 staff and another customer in the salon and that was it. Prices were reasonable! I got a pedicure for $35 & I will be coming back again! read more

Sunshine Salon - Hair Salons Near Me - Elk Grove, California

Had an AMAZING experience here. My daughter had her hair highlighted for the first time for a bday gift, and we went to a different salon here in Elk Grove. Well they did exactly what we asked them not to do, and gave her chunky blonde highlights. She was so upset and embarrassed. Thankfully Anna answered when I called Sunshine Salon to see if there was any way to fix it. It was a Sunday so a lot of salons aren't open, but she told us to come on over. We told her exactly how we wanted it, and she went over her plan to fix it a few times with us so we'd all be on the same page. She did wonderful, and just what we wanted from the beginning. My daughter was soooo relieved and happy! They definitely have new customers now. Thank you Anna, you saved the day!! :) read more

Julia did a great job with my hair color!! I showed her a picture and she delivered! She took her time and made me feel comfortable! She also did my nails which I don't do often and I am super happy I did! Thanks Julia! read more

This was my first time coming here & I usually don't do to many hair salons or really get my hair done a lot due to the fact that hair can be a pretty tricky task to accomplish, but I chose sunshine salon based on their reviews and pricing & all I can say s that I'm soooo glad I did! I made an appointment the day of & they took me right away for the upcoming hour! The service is fast and they connect very well with their clients! I came in almost immediately & was paired with Julia who was probably one of the nicest girls I've ever met! I showed her an image of a color and cut I wanted and she didn't hesitate to get stated on me! I had dark virgin hair and the process of lightening it was extremely tedious and time consuming but Julia sat out the entire process with me! I love this place and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a change that isn't too pricey! read more

this salon doesn't understand instructions... turned my hair horrible. i had a reference picture (it was a natural blonde) for my hair and they totally disregarded it. my hair did not look like anywhere NEAR what i wanted (I ended up with highlights that weren't even good looking, the left side has more chunkier highlights while the other has small). i told them not to touch my roots, and they did!!! literally so rude and inconsiderate. they don't care about your hair, they just want the money. no wonder why prices here for hair are cheap- they do a shitty job. go save your money & hair and go somewhere professional. read more

All of the women here are fantastic!!! My friend and I drove around the area for a bit looking for a salon to do highlights. One salon only did blowouts and the other showed zero interest in helping us. I am SO happy i found this place!!! I don't remember all of the ladies' names, but I got my brows waxed and full highlights, while my friend got a haircut and partial highlights. WOW! First off, BEST wax I've ever had! She paid such close attention to detail and was very friendly! Ashley did my hair, with help from Linda (I think). My hair looks AMAZEBALLS! And when she washed my hair, I was in heavennnnn. Omg! It felt like a scalp massage, like how salons used to wash hair! It's a plus that they also do nails!! I just moved up here 2 weeks ago and I've been looking for a new nail salon, and now I have a possible nail spot along with hair salon!! The prices are also outstanding! Very sweet, professional, and knowledgeable women! I am so so so in love! read more

Now that Jennifer has left the business the salon has a new spirit and soul. Professionalism and friendliness abound. I used to frequent this place when it was called Jennifer's Salon when Jennifer owned the business and she seemed more preoccupied with taking our money rather than satisfying us. I just came in today after a year of avoiding this place and happy to return. Linda herself said, "We want you to be happy and leave happy." Love my thorough pedicure and the fact that I can laugh and joke with the technicians. read more

Love this Salon! I have been bringing my boys here since they were little and now their in Jr high and High school. The salon always seems to remember just how they want their hair cut, and recalling the proper, 1 on the side, 3 on top, or scissor cut on top, or if they want something different, faux hawk cut, pompador, classic, retro, or fade. They do it all and for a very responsible price. I'm a very happy mom with my Salon! read more

Sunshine Salon - Hair Salons Near Me - Elk Grove, California

Let me start by saying that I've always been the type to be reluctant and quite skeptical when it comes to manicures/pedicures and haircuts; however, Sunshine Salon made me turn a new leaf for the better! It was a cold and rainy Saturday when I decided to give Sunshine Salon a try. Right when I opened the door, every cosmetician in the salon welcomed me with hospitality and warmth. Anna, Cookie, and Sally were exceptionally wonderful offering me the best customer service I've received in a very long time. I was quite nervous and anxious getting my manicure, but as we started, everyone made me feel at home and I actually forgot I was even getting a manicure! I felt so relaxed, which made the entire process very satisfying. I will 100% be coming back for all their services! Thank you again Sunshine Salon. I had to write this review because your shop is definitely an asset to the overall salon businesses. read more

Anna and her ladies are the "Best." My daughter, granddaughter and I, love the results everytime. We love the friendliness, professionalism and care they take to provide excellent customer service. My daughter has her hair highlighted by Anna and it's beautifully done everytime. The highlights are so subtle it looks natural. My granddaughter has her hair straightened looks beautiful. Me, I get the works. My hair cut and colored by Linda. I always walk out of the shop feeling better. Anna does my nails, Ashley does my pedi. Actually, these ladies make me feel and look brand new. Sunshine Salon - Hair Salons Near Me - Elk Grove, California

I have been going to Anna for 4 years now after trying numerous salons in the area. She is so sweet, she gets you in as quick as she can, an extremely hard worker without making clients feel they are being rushed or told to wait. She gives me EXACTLY what I want and need every time. I truly love this shop and bring my DIL's for pedicures all the time. Great staff that loves to know you and welcomes you with your name everytime!!! I would give them a 10 if I could! As long as I am in ELK Grove this will be my salon! read more

They booked me an appointment last minute. I don't know the lady's name who did my nails but I had a blast talking to her the whole time. She made the experience fun and took her time to work on my nails and got it done in a hour. Overall good experience. read more

I've been looking for a salon for 4 years and this is the place! If you are looking for a fancy layout keep looking, but if you are looking for quality at a great price then stop looking. The cost is reasonable compared to many many other places. The outcomes are as good or better than a $300 cut/color at 1/3 the price. They also do mani/pedi, lash extensions, threading and other sevices. Call and try this place, you won't be sorry. I see Ana and she is great. read more

I really like this place due to the owner Anna. Went and had a pampering day that was much needed and there was a big fight between Anna and Rose that made it very uncomfortable for there other ladies there. Thanks to Anna she had to remind Rose that there are clients there that are trying to relax and Anna stepped away as much as she can to relieve the confrontation. Love you Anna. I go there just to see you. read more

I'm so excited, I get to get my hair done by a friend I haven't seen in a few years. She bought the shop and has made amazing changes. I stopped coming because of Jennifer...thank goodness she's gone. Feeling happy, relaxed and loved. Thanks Ana!! read more

Started going here a few months ago because it was close to my house and Jennifer was gone. But after getting 5 or 6 hair cuts from different workers i'm not going back. i have a fairly easy hair cut but at least one of the workers just did everything really quick and was done. I immediately notice some missed hairs and a lopsided cut. But she was done took off the cape and was ready for me to pay. I didn't ask her to fix it because i was just gone getting bad hair cuts and i shouldn't have to ask for a fix. read more

Don't recommend! Worst customer service. They messed up my son haircut really bad and tried to deny it. My son cried and cried as he left the salon. The hair dresser does not listen to your request. When things got messed up, she told my crying son:"Don't worry, hair grow back" . No remose, no single apology. No professionalism. If there is a choice for 0 star, I would give that. read more

Had worst experience of my lifetime in this salon by owner Jennifer itself! I had appointment @3, arrived on time and I had to wait for 30min. When she finally came to do my pedicure I asked her to cut my nail not file. She started filing them not to mention she skipped 2 nails, and when I asked her to cut instead in filing and she got mad at me. She told me she would file and clean cuticles when she's ready to paint!!?? I finally got annoyed bcuz she had no idea what she is doing, she got up and started yelling on her own language.... Never coming back!! Horrible customer service and horrible experience!! If you want good pedicure go to Venus Nails and see Kim! She takes her time and beat at what she does!! Worth every $$$. read more

My boyfriend said he will never go to Jennifer's again. He said her dull shears pulled and hurt. And the style left him looking bald and older looking. I asked her if my stubble was long enough for a wax and she said it was but the wax job failed she began using tweezers! I was so mad. read more

This salon sucks! I went in there showing a picture to Jennifer herself asking if she could make my hair ombré like the picture. Jennifer kept saying she could ombré my hair..after everything was done, I realized she only highlighted the crown of my head and didn't even ombré my hair AT ALL. I was upset and told her it looks NOTHING like the picture. She told me next time I come back in, she will ombré my hair just like the picture and charge me $50. After 3 months, I went back in and showed her the same picture and asked if she remembered me, she said yes she did and I said "okay well you said you would charge me $50 for this ombré remember" and she said yes she remembers but if she were to ombré my hair it would start a lot lower than the picture or else, she would charge me $100. I was like "no you specifically told me you would only charge me $50 because this is what I wanted the first time" and she said the ombré on the girl in the pic started lower than I wanted, I said "no it's not, all I told you was I wanted the ombré look she has and you said you could do it". She replied "yeah it'll be $100". I was soooooooo upset. I walked out of there. What I should have done was embarrass her in front of her other customers and yelled that she cheated me out of my money the first time. If I knew this was gonna happen, I wouldn't have tipped her $20 the first time when she messed up and didn't give me the color/look I wanted. But because she promised she would only charge me $50 next time I came in, I decided to be nice and tip $20 on a $100 color that I didn't even want. She played me and only did highlights on half of my head and ensured me next time I come in, she will correct my color to the ombré I originally wanted for $50 then when I did come back in, she cheated me and said she would charge me $100. This is poor customer service and I am so disappointed in this salon and much more on Jennifer herself. I would NOT recommend this salon to anyone I know or even strangers too. That's how bad the service is! TERRIBLE!!!!! read more

I've been going here for many years and Sunshine is an excellent place. Ana, the owner of the salon, is great. She's very personable and friendly and knows exactly what you want if you ask. If you're not sure what you want your hair to look like, take a picture of what you like (from a magazine or the internet), show her, and she'll work her magic. My entire family goes there to get our hair done (and the girls, their nails). Again, I highly recommend Sunshine Salon and Ana. read more

DO NOT COME HERE! I ignored all the reviews and it was a big mistake. I asked for a simple fade and the lady couldn't even do that. She really rushed it and I was the only person there.
