So then I called to set up time... showed up 5 min early told the guy I was there and he looked at me and kept cutting. I waited 25 min and walked out and went to another barbershop. His loss. I looked through yelp and found this place among many others, so i decided to give it a try, I walked in and was greeted right away, and Isaias took care of me. I left happy with a haircut. Today I wanted to go back, apparently it was a busy day, I called and set up an appointment, Jorge picked up the phone and they were very busy, however he did his best to book my Husband and myself. I have been going to the parlor for about a little over and year and love the service these guys provide. I usually get cut by Ivan, who does a fantastic job, and is always ready to give me cut per our appointment time. I don't have to wait 45 minutes when I have an appointment for a scheduled time. One thing I really like about this barbershop is how the barber's use a straight razor when lining you up so that your line is always fresh and sharp. To get a full cut and like takes about 15 minutes and the cuts are always well done. The inside of the barbershop is aesthetically pleasing as well. There are plenty of cushioned couches to sit on while your waiting, and four flat screens tv's you can watch, as well as a ps3 you can play . On the other side of the parlor they have a nice selection of brand clothing for sale at a reasonable price. Also they have a really clean bathroom. All in all this is a great barbershop, one of the best in the area, and I recommend this place to anyone looking for a fresh cut. read more

Scissor work was terrible, a full inch longer on one side than the other. Went back to have it fixed and the guy made it worse. Had to go to Supercuts and have them fix the fix. Should have just asked for a butch because that's what I ended up with. Oh well, hair grows back. But $30 + tip + another $10 for a cut I didn't want is an expensive lesson. read more

No Stars. I recently moved to Concord. I went here a few weeks ago and received a good haircut. Nice guy, Jorge. He gave me his phone to text him the next time I needed a cut. I texted him on Thursday, July 14 asking if he had an opening today, July 15. He responded via text "How is 12:30". I said it was good, I would see him then. I went today and he acknowledged me when I entered. I was on time. He was finishing up a customer and I was ok with it. I waited 15 minutes when he walked over to me and asked if I could wait because there was another customer he had to do. I said no, I had an appointment. He was not asking if I could wait, he was telling me I had to wait. I was no happy. He was completely ok with me walking out without a haircut. I told him I would have to find another barber in town. Again, he didn't care. I would also add the attitude in the shop was very unexpected. Today and the first time I went I didn't feel very welcomed at all. Not sure if it is a locals only place or other unmentionable reasons. I am just very disappointed. read more

Um.... not sure. First timer - walk in. Seems like a nice setup. BUT. Just before the guy was about to cut my hair an enforcement agent?? - walked in. My guy took his coat off and ran out the door. What?? Yep. Didn't have a license. So there I am sitting in the chair. Fortunately he hadn't taken a few swipes out my head before the agent showed up. This time it's a 1-star performance. I've never been excited about getting an oil change, shopping for clothes or getting a haircut. They all seem like chores to me. But, when I do have to get my oil changed I like to take my car to people who care (more than I do) about cars. When it is time to buy new clothes, I like to buy them from a sales person who knows about and enjoys the clothes they sell. I don't know why I never thought of a haircut like that. Not just the fact that they can give great hair cuts, ovbiously, but the whole environement and the vibe is really what i noticed.
