Got a haircut and I love it. Chill vibes at the shop, madden is running on the TV everyone is laughing and having a good time.

Nevin & CJ have been cutting my hair for 14 years now, we have become best of friends. Their work and quality is nothing short of outstanding, which is why they are the best barbers in the entire Bay Area / northern cali No one person has ever cut my hair besides them, super happy to see them grow and flourish from their urban cutz days. read more

Great place to get a quick cut and lined up on a Saturday! I found Jay Speez on Booksy (a great app to find barbers in your area and in my case at last minute) and booked with him a Saturday morning appointment! Thank Ya Jesus he had an opening or I would've looked a mess for the weekend hahaha The shop has a laid back feel and there's plenty of parking. Dope music. Couches to sit at when waiting. Met Jay for the 1st time and after I told him the cut I wanted, he got right to it! Also, I got a nice hot towel over my face to relax and afterwards he cleaned up my eyebrows. When he passed me the mirror to see if I approved, HELL YEAH I approved! I looked my best! Jay is definitely on my list when in search for a barber! *For Jay, cash is the method of payment. There's an ATM machine inside but if you want to avoid the fee, get cash before you head here. read more

The reason this is called a lounge and not a shop is because they offer everything! Family friendly and a great place to get the works. They offer Cuts, Line-Ups, Braids and Facials. This is one of the best Barber establishments I have visited. They will treat you like Family, make you feel comfortable, make you laugh and sometimes feed you! Kudos to this Awesome Team! Much Love, C-Murda read more

After leaving the Bay Area I had trouble finding a barber that I could trust. A friend referred me to CJ and I've been coming here ever since(2years), never ever disappoints! Now my brother, uncle and friend all get cut there too. Everyone there can cut so you're good no matter who you chose, and they even have a young lady that braids as well. One stop shop read more

I was watching my nephew for the weekend and he mentioned he wanted to get a haircut before he goes back to school on Monday. I go to the nail salon next door all the time so I saw when the barbershop first opened up. I've been trying to convince my boyfriend to try this shop out but he's to loyal to the person that cuts his hair now, good or bad - but that's a story for another time/review. Anyways. I messaged the owner and we set up an appointment for Sunday. Once we got to the establishment we realized that they are closed to the public on Sundays and its appointment only. I was thrilled about that because I was actually sick with a massive headache and wasn't in the most socializing mood. We showed up at 2pm, about 10 mins later my nephew was sitting in the chair. I sat on one of the two comfy couches they have in the shop and I started to watch Men in Black on their flatscreen. 40 mins later my nephews haircut was finished. My nephew couldn't contain his love and excitement for his new haircut, he was so happy with it. I definitely plan on taking my nephew again and still working on convincing my boyfriend to try this shop out!! Also they take Cash and Apple Pay, no debit/credit cards BUT they do have an ATM machine inside just in case :) read more

I am really glad this spot opened close to home. I know this a wierd comment, but have you guys seen those movies where the barber shop is like one giant family? SO MUCH CULTURE and respect in the air. Great vibes. This place really manifests the home-like safe place barber shop. Everyone seems to know each other. Everyone is respectful of each other. AND they provide fast, great service with a smile. Each barber is so talented and you can tell they put a lot of effort and passion into each client. I loved the vibe. I waited for my boyfriend and did not feel awkward or bored. It was vibrant and made me feel happy to see such a place in person. The prices are very affordable, and although I am not a guy, my boyfriend was very happy with his hair. I would recommend this place to anyone! My rating Price 5 (very affordable) Aura 5 (I would love to come back just to hang out lol) Service 5 (efficient and passionate) read more

The barber legion here are some of the Bay Area's finest, in the craft and also in character. I have been getting cut by CJ for years. It's nice to go in when I do and see him, he is a best friend and we always have valuable conversation about any subject matter. Then I always leave feeling confident and ready for life. I think image starts from from the ground up and CJ always make sure I got my head on right. Thank you CJ and the rest of the Superior NC gang. To new heights brother! read more

From the moment I walk in, I am always impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The shop is always clean and well-maintained, with a laid back family-friendly feel. My barber, Nevin, is amazing. He always takes the time to listen to what I want and offers his expert opinion on what would work best for my hair type and face shape. He is very attentive and detail-oriented, ensuring that I always come out feeling like a new man! The end result is always a great haircut that exceeds my expectations. I also appreciate the fact that the barbershop offers a range of services like braiding and grooming services, including beard trims and shaves. Regardless of who you get cut by you will come out looking great. Overall, I highly recommend this shop and Nevin to anyone looking for a top-notch grooming experience. Brooooo! The wait is maney maney! Even if you book an appointment, you waitin for at least 30 minutes. I generally wait for 45 minutes with an appointment. It's like they tell you to come at a time, and right before you get there they take another haircut are you waiting on that haircut. Like damn bruh, did I pay for two hair cuts my g, i've been waiting for that long. Bro, step yo game up. #biden #trump read more

I'm extremely unhappy with my experience today. I sent my 12 year old in to get a tapper and for top of his hair to be trimmed yet he came out looking like a mushroom. His long curls were all chopped off and the sides faded. His cut was nothing like how it should have been. Previously Patrick cut his hair and I was very much satisfied with the service yet today most definitely was a disappointment. Not to mention he was also over charged. I was previously told not to just let anybody from the shop cut my sons hair as the owner rents out to anyone and this most definitely proved that point. He would've been better off going to the salon. Now to grow my son curls back :( read more

Great business! These people have the right idea of how a business should be ran, and they implement it precisely. I've been a customer with one the owners (CJ) for 3 years now, and I'm one to speak to barber loyalty. But, they haven't given me any reason to doubt and switch barbers. They also welcome walk-ins! Come on down and get fresh! They even have a stylist for braids (Jenny)! Definitely looking forward to watching this business grow! read more

Great place for all ages! Took my nephews in to get trimmed and braided and they did a great job! You can tell they take immense pride in their craft and love what they do. The staff is really patient and sweet; the overall ambiance of the shop is very family oriented with a trendy vibe. It's also very clean, which is rare for barber shops. I recommend this shop to everyone, they're my new favorite! Thanks Nevin, CJ, and Genny! You guys are the best! read more

I have no idea how this guy became a barber. He did the exact opposite of what I asked for. I had a full head of hair and he shaved 70% of it off. I was very clear on my instructions and thought he understood because he didn't ask any questions and didn't even check to see if shaving off half my head was the right thing to do. I'm fucked for the next few months. Never again. Never. Edit: Day 3 of the Fall from Grace: Noticing patches of missing hair. This guy is a complete incompetent buffoon. What a moron. I should've just left when I saw his own shitty haircut. read more

I booked an appointment online. I got the confirmation email. I moved around clients at work to get the cut. Then while ON MY WAY to the shop Jay cancels. This is NOT how you do business. Horrible professionalism. If he can't even handle his own schedule I'd doubt he can handle cleanliness. As both stem from responsibility. read more

This is hands down the best barber lounge in the Bay. It just recently opened, many of the barbers that work there now previously worked for another top notch barber lounge, they've just spread their wings and they are soaring. Nevin, CJ, it really doesn't matter who takes care of you, you're not going to get a better hair cut anywhere else. They also do braids and pretty much any other style you can think of. They have the patience to give your little ones a hair cut too. Nevin is the man and I don't see myself ever going to another spot because there's no one or place that does it better! Beauty, cosmetic, and personal care, they do it all and do it the best! Highly affordable too! If you aren't bringing your business to Superior NC, you're messing up! Give them a call, a walk-in, and get blessed, you won't be disappointed! read more
