I went on a mission to find a true artist who could handle my husband's... unique head of hair. Asked for recs on FB and a good friend pointed me to Caballeros Barber Lounge -- WOW, so glad we listened. Booking was insanely easy and we snagged a same-day appointment with Priscilla. From the jump, she was open, collaborative, and genuinely excited to help us figure out the best look for my husband's face shape and hair texture. She asked if we had inspo pics... and I mean, I had a full-on fantasy pic -- like "if I had the audacity" level expectations . I almost didn't show it, but Priscilla was like nope, let's go for it. And damn... she didn't just try -- she DELIVERED. She straight up copy-pasted that dream look onto my husband like some kind of wizard. The transformation was unreal. I could not stop taking photos. I genuinely feel like I'm cheating on my husband with this new GQ-level man walking around my house now REEEER. Beyond the haircut -- the whole experience is next level. The vibe: somehow high-end and totally chill. Waiting area: massive, plush, sink-into-it leather couch. Barbers: cool isn't even the word... like OG barber lounge, mob boss energy ‍ Also... WHERE have all these hot men been hiding?! This place is basically a production line for magazine-ready men. And the MUSIC?? Thought there was a DJ spinning. So good Location note: it's in the Veranda (which can be annoying for parking), BUT it's tucked in the back by the movie theater. There's an easy cut-through from the back lot -- super convenient once you know. The space itself is huge and just... vibing. Honestly looks like a fun place to work, and you can feel that energy from the whole team. My husband even got a frosty beer during his transformation -- perfect touch. I seriously love this place. Huge appreciation to Priscilla and the entire team for creating such a fun, elevated, genuinely cool space. It's more than a haircut -- it's an experience. We will 1000% be back.‍ read more

I brought my 1-year-old in last minute on a Saturday morning for his very first haircut before his birthday party, and Abe was amazing! He was so kind, patient, and worked quickly (which is key with a squirmy little client haha). Abe made the whole experience smooth and special, and we're so grateful! The shop can be a little tricky to find if it's your first time. It's located in the Guest Services area of The Veranda, between the movie theater and Mikuni. Huge thank you to Abe for making my son's first haircut such a great memory! read more

I love coming in here, everyone is always so welcoming and eager to offer you water or your bev of choice. At first intimidating but after a few cuts (for my son), they make you feel like family. Always clean, fresh, and everyone has big smiles and stories to share. I love the jar of lollipops for all the kids!!! Most importantly, we love uncle Bosco. My son always comes out with a fresh attitude every time. Logan can be sleepy, cranky, or outright not having it; but something about Bosco's gentleness and patience with him really does the trick. I've only told him once to style his hair and it's been consistent since the first time. Grateful for my 6 years old fresh cuts and the hospitality and energy everyone gives when you walk in. read more

Caballeros Barber Lounge - Barbers Near Me - Concord, California

I went to Caballeros Barber lounge in a pinch as my son who had refused a haircut for 5 years decided to finally do it and I wanted to make sure he didn't change his mind again. Our usually barber was closed Tuesdays so upon the recommendation of a friend, I went to Caballeros. They were able to fit me in with an appointment the same day and Priscilla did a great job on his hair. The shop was very clean and designed beautifully. Location is a bit tricky given google maps directs you to TJ Maxx but you can call them and they will orient you like they did me. I loved that it is so central so after we had sushi next door to celebrate and went shopping! Will be back gain! read more

I've been doing a 'Tour de Barber' with my son to find him a great barber, and I finally found it! My friend had posted a photo of his tot with a fresh cut, so I asked him where he went, and he told me Caballeros! I asked him which barber and he told me Abe, who cuts his hair as well. Abe is also the owner. I scheduled a cut for my son online with Abe which was very easy. They offer a discount for kids haircuts, but it's still a little pricey. But, that just might be what it costs for quality around here! :) His haircut cost more than mine and I do go to a nice salon :) Anyway, Caballeros is located in the Veranda Shopping Plaza. It's pretty hard to find. It's actually in the back, and the shop is located INSIDE a building that I didn't even know was there. It's a little tricky. Abe is very friendly and made us feel very comfortable! We arrived as a family of four (my husband, our baby, our son, and me), but there was plenty of space to sit. Plus, there's additional seating right outside their shop in the lobby. Abe was kind and offered us drinks! My husband had a beer, and I had water. :) My son's cut was fabulous! Finally, someone that won't cut his hair into a dopey little boy cut where the bangs fall straight across the forehead. Even now that his hair has grown out a bit, it's still falling nicely with some texture. His hair looks very cool when we put product in it and style it up too. I love that Abe knew exactly what I meant when I wanted his hair to both be able to worn up and also still look good without product. Also, he took time to get the back and sides looking sharp! He cut it the first time and then asked if the length was good. We wanted it shorter, and he was happy to taper tighter on the sides and the nape. It came out great! Abe was very patient and works well with kids! And he made me feel comfortable, even when I asked basic questions like the difference between a taper and a fade. :) This is definitely the best shop we've tried so far and I wouldn't hesitate to book a cut here again when we know we want/need a good haircut! read more

Can't get any better than this! The moment you walk in, everyone is very welcoming! They make sure you feel comfortable by offering a seat and beverage as you wait. Everyone takes their time with the haircuts and makes sure you leave feeling your best. We usually go to Abe, he's been cutting my husband's hair since he was in high school and now he's doing my 3 boy's haircuts too! We've followed him to every shop he's been to. Very happy that he got to open up his own shop at the Veranda. His hard work and dedication to making sure his clients are happy is truly appreciated by us. They all work really well and are very patient with young kids haircuts. I have a 10, 6 and 3 yo... so I can vouch for it! They keep the shop really clean and presentable, so you know you're in good hands. If you're looking for a new barber shop to try out or maybe even switch to, definitely try Caballeros barber lounge! :) read more

Pricilla did braids and a line up for my man's bday! We had the best experience with her! She was so kind and understood the assignment. Her cute little self just popped out a stool and braided his hair perfectly! She is a short Latina like me so I just found her so adorable! I was a little intimidated to go inside a men's barber shop but it was so clean and professional. Calling and making the appointment was easy. The man who helped me with booking was so flexible and took us as soon as they could! She came in early to help us and we sincerely appreciate it! They made us feel comfortable. 5 stars for you Pricilla! Thanks for making my man's bday a little more special! :) read more

It was my first time going to Caballeros and I was blown away!!! The Staff and manager, Abe are some of the nicest and coolest people ever! Abe was the one to cut my hair and he made sure to cut it the way that was best for my curly, and wavy hair while also being fresh and up to date with the style! The shop is very clean and the whole time I was there, the vibes from the other barbers were fun and they were always smiling and cracking jokes too! All in all, I had a great experience and I highly recommend them to anyone in the Concord, Veranda area looking for a fresh cut! Jason is the man! He asks what kind of hair cut you want and then explains how it will look based on your head shape, providing great feedback for what he'd adjust for an even better look. Overall the barbershop has great vibes where every barber says hi as you walk in, making you feel welcomed. There's usually a game on the big screen and they provide free beverage service while you wait or during your cut. While parking can be a bit of a hassle since it's the veranda, go to the backside parking lot behind the buildings, against the freeway. Come to Caballeros and you won't be disappointed! read more

I want to start off by saying everybody here is very nice and welcoming. But my haircut and beard looked terrible. I asked for a simple beard fade and a "little trim" I don't know what the hell my barber was thinking but he did such a bad job. This barber cut my hair once before and did my beard ok the beard fade was slightly crooked but I still thought it was a decent job. I looked at all the barbers on the website before I chose and selected this particular barber because his specialty was beards. And it was honestly the worst my beard has ever looked. For the price they charge it just isn't worth it. I won't be coming back read more

Went here with my cousin payed 45 for a cut, Juan the one that cut me he did a good job is just that he cut me and blow on his towles something that a barber should not do at all times bc it's toxic for others, I thick I should get some of my money back read more

Highly recommended!!! The place is very clean and modern. My husband has been getting haircuts here for over a year. Juan is amazing he takes his time, is detailed and professional. Shout Out @Pricillablendz for freshin me up! Hour drive was definitely worth it, 10/10 recommend!

Followed my barber Jaime to this new shop and was very impressed. Abe, the owner, was extremely welcoming and hospitable. The place is bright and clean with great music playing and you can tell there's a lot of thought, care and enthusiasm put into the venture. Got an excellent cut from Jaime (as always) and found the overall vibe to be very relaxing with lots of good energy. I'm glad Jaime moved here, and will enjoy coming back! FYI the Veranda is a huge area and this place is not yet on its online map, so for those wondering exactly where it is: Head down the alley between Mikuni and the the movie theatre, enter the doors on the right (towards the offices/bathrooms/Red Room) and the entrance is on the left side of that lobby area. read more

This is definitely my new spot! Top notch, great vibes with friendly inviting staff. They offer complimentary drinks while you wait you can chill and watch TV and chat. I got my haircut with Jaime. Jaime is always spot on with my cut. For anyone new trying to find the spot it's on the side of the Veranda movie theater. Go through the double doors inside and straight back to your left. Depending on the time of the day it might be easier to just park in the back! 5 stars all the way! read more

My 4-yr old gets his cuts with Abe who is exceptionally good at what he does and runs the place very well - friendly, very clean and welcoming! Highly recommend! read more

I consider barbering to be a craft because it takes a tremendous amount of skills and require many years of experiences, something that you cannot acquire rapidly. From observing Abraham's works, I can tell he is really passionate about his craftsmanship. Aside from being an awesome human, he is a really great conversationalist. This shop embodies what a good old fashioned gentlemen's lounge should be. No hair like me? No problem, this shop offers many other services. Not a dude? They got you cover, come here and be treated like a queen. Get here and bring a friend. Get a drink and get a vintage style with modern cuts. Expect the best. The attention is in the details. read more
