Long Hair on bed upon arrival
    Emily V.

I got this hotel for a one night stay business trip and through a 3rd party booking site. I could tell by the photos that the hotel is an older hotel but I don't expect it to be that outdated. I didn't see many amenities other than free coffee, tea, and water and free parking in the back. My room upon arrival was dirty and there was hair on the bed, on the towels, and on the shower wall. The large mirror and tv were dirty with some sort of dried splatter. The room had a dresser, iron, ironing board, tv, microwave, desk, and sitting chair. Overpriced and would not stay here again. 2

Great location. Check in easy and polite; I appreciate the lack of insane small talk; "so whatcha in town for..?!!" Parking in rear, free is a nice addition. Rooms modern and clean. Highly recommended.

Beautiful view of the park across the street from the hotel.

If you are looking for a great place to stay in the Cuse that is in a central location to Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse University and the famous Marshall St - look no further than The Parkview Hotel. The facility is non-smoking (a plus for me). Free parking- very accommodating staff. And very affordable. The hotel has a lot of character- a very cute, classical old school vibe- with modern amenities. My room was a suite so I had a kitchenette w/microwave, dishes a fridge and a sink. The hotel also has a workout room in the basement. The only thing that is a "negative" is there is no breakfast- however there are breakfast places close by and fresh coffee all day long! I will be staying here every time I come to Cuse for now on and you should too! Enjoy friends!

Clean, affordable, about a 20 minute walk to the Syracuse Dome, and has a delicious free breakfast. What more could you ask for from a hotel?! This is our go-to hotel when we are heading to a basketball game. I would highly recommend it! Tip- Call the hotel directly to make reservations. They will give you the best rate, and if you need to cancel for whatever reason, there is no penalty.

Dirty, outdated, and run down. Many better options in the Syracuse area at this price.

We really enjoyed our stay at this grand old hotel smack dab in the middle of Syracuse…read more Because of it's location they do not offer parking, but there are many lots all around the area. We found one that only charged us ten bucks for the night. We were in town for a concert at the Landmark, which is literally across the street. After the concert ended, we were back in our hotel room in about five minutes. There are also tons of great bars and restaurants all within a few blocks. Our room was clean and spacious enough for two people, and the bathroom was roomy and clean.

Gorgeous, restored, modern, wonderful!…read more We had the best experience at this hotel. We got a king suite with a separate kitchen and sitting area, as we were not leaving our room much due to surgery. The room was spotless, the bed was so comfortable and there were a lot of pillows. You could have parked a Buick in the bathroom! We ended up being done with our medical appointments two day early. They were unable To refund our room (which they were not obligated to do anyway) but willingly gave us one free nights stay voucher. How wonderful is that! So accommodating and nice. The two staff ladies at the desk were so kind to us. This hotel has a "wall of fame" where you can see a few of the stars who have stayed there. It's in the heart of a city circle area where there are some shops and restaurants to walk to. Again, we were only able to leave for a bit (for our sanity) but it's location was perfect for a walk. We will definitely be back!

Corporate: stop what you're doing and give these guys a matching 401(k), company car, and a giant gold medal with a holiday to commemorate. Think about that feeling when your grandma's making you soup and you stayed home from school. That was the vibe. We were stranded in Syracuse after a looooong vacay that ended in Covid for all of us, kids included,---and when I say "kids" I mean a 5 & 8 -year-old who "just wanted to go hoooooooome", a.k.a. 3k miles away, after 2 weeks with our in-laws--u do the math. Could've been a hell on earth uation where we were ripping each other's heads off, but these people straight up kept us happy, fed, and didn't treat us like lepers despite the fact that we looked like hot garbage. They even drove us to the local pharmacy to get meds for the kids more than once. Not sure what people think about Hampton, but i used to think: dinky/ kitschy. FAKE NEWS YA'LL. We got better service and care here than I've had at any other resort around the world. These people genuinely cared about us, listened after we got bumped off 2 Flights and treated us like family. I would've had dinner w them. It wasn't just 1-2 people. It was literally everyone who worked there. On top of this we got free breakfast that actually tasted good. Biz services were legit and the team helped by printing things out correctly for me better than FedEx Kinko's does when it didn't work for me and I was under a tight deadline. They even chatted with me when I was about to lose my mind about work stuff. Who does that? So if you're looking for a place for a therapist, a couple new cousins, good breakfast for free, endless coffee that taste good, and legit empathy w/ those giant fluffy comforters, skip the four season--come here. Sidenote, my son left his cell phone there and they called us before we even knew we forgot it + mailed it across the country free of cost. These people would be seated right next to us at our Thanksgiving dinner table if they weren't 3k miles away. Way to be y'all. You made a crappy situation into a warm, comfy hug of a stay when our kids were losing it and we were basically hallucinating elephants due to that awesome COVID fever. Special place in heaven-not just Yelp- for these people.

Recently enjoyed a peaceful stay at the Hampton Inn in Syracuse…read more The hotel itself is squeaky clean and my room was beautifully quiet. The bed in my room wasn't terribly comfortable (it was doable but lots of waking up). Aside from that, my room was quite comfortable. The location is ten to fifteen minutes from downtown Syracuse, so it's relatively convenient if you have a rental car. The parking lot is well lit and arranged. There was nothing to differentiate itself from any other Hampton but I enjoyed a clean and relatively comfortable stay--so, good enough!
