This is the bed with the one night stand

My fiance and I decided that we were going to go antiquing in Madison County for the weekend. And we have been to Skaneateles a million times and always noticed these little cabins. So I thought well let's try them and we were getting the off rate deal for like $119 and I thought well that's reasonable and we're going to stay two nights and they are part of Mirabeau spa across the street. We entered the room and first noticed the unique bed with the branches on the headboard and then we noticed that there was no nightstand on one side of the bed? And that was extremely inconvenient we found out. The other thing was the TV it must have been an 18in or something? Look like a computer monitor in a cabinet. Then we noticed the one-night-stand had something on it that look like it was spilled and after further examination it was the actual finish had come off and the wood fibers we're showing. Then that mirror that you see in the picture on their website here. The light doesn't w8ork. And the bench is too short for the mirror and the mirror is bent as in broken. Then we get into the bathroom where when you turn the light on the fan comes on which is really noisy and it has a separate timer for the fan which is not hooked up it's just a light switch that controls it. And when you get into the shower you can only bring in one or two little items to put on the shelf because there is no room. There is also very limited space over the sink. And the so-called fireplace which is nothing more than a free-standing gas stove. Really doesn't do much for the ambience.. the main heater in the room is kind of noisy also I don't know how it works with the air conditioning in the summer? It was clean and it was adorable but7 the regular price is $200 a night which to me is totally not worth that. They do have a beautiful conference room with a fireplace and coffee machine and couches and a dining table. We love staying at small quaint little Adirondack type cabins... and these are cute but they need a lot of maintenance and more thought for human conveniences.

This Rustic Lodge is located in Skaneateles New York and is close to the Mirbeau Spa . The room is very clean and the rates are reasonable.

Adorable, Northwoods-esque type lodging on the outskirts of Skaneateles. Check-in was easy at the Mirabeau Spa across the street. I loved the look and decor of our room. The bed was very comfortable. Because it was a wet day, we didn't get to enjoy the Adirondack chairs on the patio, and I didn't realize there was a communal space till check-out. My bad. A refrigerator and coffee maker would make this a 5 star revue. That said, the price and location was right. I enjoyed the 20 minute walk into town and deciding which house I'm gonna buy after winning the lottery.

I have traveled many places, and been to many hotels. But this one is a CUTIE!!! The Lodge is right close to everything (restaurants, lake, main road). The place itself it's a Cabin decor, everything is made out of woods, Super clean and neat. The Bed is decor with native american blanket. Comfy bed and Super friendly Staff. Bathroom is a bit dimmed and not enough mirrors, but you can ask the front desk for a bigger size mirror and they can bring it to your room. A welcome bag (with a map, directory and a bottle of water with a small bag of potato chips, Hershey kisses and mint candies) Parking lot is available, small lounge room also provided for your comfort in the middle of the lodge for your convenience. Some rooms have a patio, some have a bigger bedroom or bathroom.

This place is cute and not cheap but the walls are thin and you hear the guests next door and road noise I feel their security policies are not in place I will not be back

Meeting in the great room! Let the festivities begin!!

We just stayed at the lodge. It was perfect for our family wedding. Kids could walk to town, pub and graveyard. The great room was an extra bonus to meet and play games in. They need to sell/giveaway playing cards as I forgot to pack them. 4 employees made my stay extra special... McKenzie and katlynn (sp) when I checked in! , Kevin the maintenance man was fast and friendly to fix my shower and show me how makeup light worked (2 switches) and Bill was the best of all he gave me a ride to the lodge from mirbeau after I walked from town and was exhausted! The only reason not a 5 star review was room was a cute but a little cluttered for me with tree branches and heavy wooden ceiling, rooms needed better lighting and they need a shuttle and a crosswalk from mirbeau to lodge and sidewalk!! Overall a great time was had by all! They also should let guests at lodge use spa at mirbeau since there isn't a pool or bathtub in rooms!!

This was a cute, quaint little lodge. The rooms definitely connote that lodgey feeling. Nice adirondack chairs on patio in back. A nice "common room" as well with games, coffee, tea, etc. the check in and check in process was a little clunky as you must go kiddy corner across the street.

Found this place at the last minute, but wish we could have stayed a week! Room was tastefully decorated in timber decor, and the cake patio opened up to a small secluded meadow area. The bed was extremely comfortable. Very clean! The staff at the Mirabeau were very accommodating. Will definitely return if we are ever in the area again!

Lamp that was right over our pillows!

A close friend gave me a gift certificate a number of years ago (2019) and I just got to actually use it 2026). The first attempt at using the gift certificate (2023) didn't go so well, and the employee I spoke with while booking my spa reservation at the time charged my credit card in full for the appointment - not only before I ever had my appointment itself (the credit card is supposed to just go on file to hold the appointment), but knowing that I would be using a gift certificate to cover the entire cost of my appointment. The date/time was also input incorrectly, as was the location (the person made my appointment for the Plymouth, MA location when I has specified the Skaneateles, NY location) and in frustration I ended up canceling entirely. It was quite an annoyance to sort through and I was issued a new gift certificate number via email. That's what I ended up bringing with me to my new appointment. All that said, I still had the new gift certificate number - and $300 to use. My reason for making my most recent appointment was because I had been dealing with neck/shoulder tightness for about a week and a half (at the time of making my appointment) and all I could think was that MAYBE a massage would help loosen some of the tightness. I scheduled a 50 minute signature massage with "Hot Stone Melter Enhancement & Divine Hair & Scalp Ritual". Mind you, I've had plenty of massages that include hot stones... and when I add them on as an enhancement, it's nice if the massage therapist spends more than about 10 seconds using them at a given time. My massage therapist at the time of my appointment was a woman a little older than middle aged. While I imagine she's been a massage therapist for a fairly lengthy period of time, she brought a somewhat nervous energy to our session. I explained what I was looking for out of the massage experience, and then she left the room for me to prepare for the massage. When she returned and the massage session began, it was relatively relaxing... though I wish she'd ultimately have spent more time in the problem areas I had mentioned. I was also disappointed in the amount of time spent using the hot stone enhancement, as well as the hair & scalp ritual (which maaaaaaaaybe lasted 5 seconds after the addition of the hair oil). Ultimately, the session was nice... and I'm sure it loosened up the tightness in my neck/shoulder a bit. It just wasn't what I expected based on the enhancements or what we discussed before my massage began. Everything together (including the 20% gratuity automatically added to the bill and the two chapsticks that I added from the spa check-in/check-out counter) came to about $285. Mirbeau seems expensive for the experience you get. I spent a lot of time around Skaneateles growing up, so I understand that there's a certain population/type of market that makes charging what they do seem perfectly reasonable... but it just seemed like way too much based on comparative experiences I've had. Not the best use of the enhancement options, and I just can't help but think that if Mirbeau was located somewhere else then there's no way they'd get to charge what they do. Basically, I'm glad that I had a gift certificate and didn't have to pay for the experience out of pocket.

Our hostess left us a list of instructions and tips and was very quiet and respectful of our privacy. We could call her if anything went wrong, but otherwise, I didn't actually see her. I wouldn't have been opposed to this though because I wanted to thank her! Katie, our host, created an incredible breakfast bar. There was Oui yogurt, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, cheese, a variety of cereal, oatmeal, milk, orange juice, coffee, and tea. She had also generously stocked cookies from a bakery, granola bars, bags of nuts, biscotti, and other easy-to-grab snacks. Our suite was beautiful. My pictures don't really do it justice, but there were two chairs, a drawer, table, and a TV in one side, and everything we needed for a bedroom on the other. Katie also provided luxurious bathrobes and luxury shampoo and conditioner (TeaTree). We also had access to the dining room and living room, which made it feel like we had a home away from home. One of my favorite parts of the house though was the front porch, which contained two swings and two chairs. I loved starting my morning on the covered porch and will have a hard time leaving that behind. The location is incredible, allowing us to walk to the lake, restaurants, and any shops we wanted to visit. Katie was the perfect host. Not to mention getting kisses from their beautiful lab, Oakley. We stayed in the elegant Barrow Suite. It's on the second floor as is their other suite, but they are working on a suite on the first floor for those with problems walking up stairs. Continental breakfast awaited us every morning as a fridge stocked with yogurt, fresh fruit, beer and many more items. I commented they were out of water and upon our return, not only was the fridge fully restocked, but a note with a special touch was provided. It is within walking distance to downtown Skaneateles without staying right in the middle of the main road. There is a big dinning room and living room, along with a beautiful porch with a swing to spend the afternoons drinking a cocktail. They attend to every need you may have i.e. reservations to restaurants and will follow up with restaurant to make sure you had a great experience and the best table. We look forward to our next trip and without a doubt where we will stay!
