My first time checking this place out and so glad we went. From the greetings to the service, everything was warm and friendly. I chose a side salad and the club sandwich with fries. My friend chose the potato pancakes and biscuits and gravy. We were both delighted with our choices. I tried his potato pancake and was an interesting texture and flavor for sure. The applesauce looked homemade and adds a nice sweetness to them. I'll definitely be going back again.

Best breakfast spot I've ever had. Their omelettes are great, home baked toast and apple pancake are my favorites. They are always busy but their food is too good to pass up!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The food was cooked to perfection, the plate wasn't all greasy I feel like they really do a good job home cooking and don't drown the food in grease and oil like some places I've gone. Other places the plate will just be full of oils/grease but not here! I will definitely be back here in the near future, great service too. Can't wait to try other options on the menu bc they're probably all just as good as what I had

I meet my mom here for lunch. She works nearby and we meet for lunch on Fridays that I'm off. We both like to try new places and this place caught my eye because of their gluten free options. I had not been to any of their other locations but I'm going to have to go to them. There was a bit of a wait when we got there but it was nothing outrageous. We got seated within 15 minutes which cut into our eating time because my mom had a meeting right after lunch. But luckily we had both reviewed the menu to pre pick our lunch choices. Both my mom and I ordered the exact same thing. We each tried Mike's Egg Basket Breakfast with artichoke hearts and broccoli. We only differed ok n our side dishes. Our waitress was helpful and attentive without being overbearing. I know that I need to come back because of all of the gluten free items that are on the menu. This is also a perfect place to come during lent. I will be back!

My plate looks like a sad face. They should have turned the frown upside-down!

We both happened to be in the area and decided to grab an impromptu breakfast. We just wanted basic bacon and eggs. Nothing fancy today. So I suggested the Pantry. It's located in a plaza with a big parking lot and plenty of parking. On a weekend there a long wait and a long line. Sometimes out the door. But it was a Friday and although it was busy, it wasn't crazy. We were promptly greeted and immediately seated. The restaurant was clean and bright and the staff was friendly. I had my eye on the apple pancakes which looked absolutely amazing. But, I needed to save those calories for another day. We both ordered identical meals. Sunny side up eggs, rye toast and bacon. It arrived promptly. My coffee was refilled non stop. Food was good and affordable. I definitely recommend it here.

This was my second time eating at The Pantry. I have a friend who lives in Michigan and we meet to have brunch together when I go down to Mardi Gras...or to take other vacations in the states. We didn't wait long for our server or food. The coffee was good as usual. I've eaten at several other breakfast places all over, so I couldn't help but compare the gluten-free pancakes to others I've had. Don't get me wrong, I think it's fantastic they even offer gluten-free pancakes for those of us who don't get to eat them often. This time, though, I did notice they are thin and dry. The bacon was phenomenal and cooked perfectly. But when I go down to NOLA, Another Broken Egg or Powdered Sugar has pancakes that are fluffy and taste like the real thing. I got pecans in these and they were just pieces. Good, but at Powdered Sugar, those pecans are coated in something that tastes like pecan pie. I eat keto and usually only allow myself sugar when on vacation. I couldn't help but feel like the pancakes were a waste of a higher carb dish. I think the next time, I will get eggs and bacon or something similar. Sorry, just can't help but compare. My friend got a vegetarian dish that had cheese in the middle. I can't remember what it's called, but she absolutely loves it. She said her food was very good. The prices are decent too. I paid what I usually do just for me, and I bought my friend's brunch. Would eat here again, but you guys might want to call some of those Nawlins places to pry their pancake recipe out of them! LOL

I wish I could eat all these carbs!

Stopped for breakfast after seeing it highly rated. We got right in and sat down, but service was slightly slow. We ordered a gyro omelet, and standard breakfast. Baked omelette was delicious, and I love that I could get sliced tomatoes instead of potatoes as I'm trying to eat low carb. Hubby said pancakes were dry, but eggs and potatoes were cooked perfectly. Coffee was good too!

The decor was like Bridgerton tea party style with velvet chairs and beautifully decorated. I ordered the golden brown pancakes nothing on them I'm a plain gal but they decorated it super cute. Place was a bit pricy but definitely would be a perfect brunch meet up spot with friends. (The only thing I would note is the tables are set up weird where your legs hit the legs of the table there's not much room I had to sit one leg in either side to be comfortable) overall very nice place. Would not give me a sample of wine when all of the wines were labeled Rose House California. Wt??. When our egg white omelettes called (Ghost) were undercooked and maybe cooked on a griddle contaminated with other foods (we could taste fishy particles), they only would give us 50% off on one. I actually scraped the filling out of mine, set the egg aside and was charged full price. The manager, Bella was young and inexperienced to handle a situation of this sort. She must be going by a script. Maddie, our waitress was only doing what she was told. She was very delightful.. We will not, capital N-O-T be returning. What is shame. The place actually has a nice ambience. they would not give us a refund on our omelettes.

She would check in on us throughout our stay. They had a special's menu and I went with the s'mores iced latte. It was served in a beautiful fluted glass. Topped with chocolate sauce and whipped cream. I really didn't get a lot of coffee flavor? It just tasted more like chocolate. Got the berryFrench toast. The French toast wasn't too thick bread wise. But also wasn't thin toast either, perfect sized toast. It was beautifully displayed, along with the compote and berry toppings. So delicious! Did not have the taste of it being cooked with 20 other menu items on a flat top. My husband got the bass omelette which included kielbasa. That was absolutely delicious! You do not see kielbasa a lot especially in an omelette. The kielbasa had a great smoky flavor and the omelette was a good portion. The tater tots were crunchy and flavorful. Old moldy/wet wood smell on top of musty carpet stench? Best way to describe it. If we didn't have such a large crowd meeting up, I would have walked out based on that alone...the mold/must smell was just so pungent. The women's bathroom was clean, the men's bathroom (reportedly... I didn't personally enter, but was told by one of the men that the bathroom stunk really bad and the urinal didn't flush. The waitress was very good. MOST of our chairs (back room area) were all dangerously wobbly. THAT is uncalled for...just basic repair and should be a priority for safety reasons. Two of the chairs were so bad, we had to exchange them with an empty table (plenty of empty tables and available chairs to choose from) for fear they would collapse. That experience was super disappointing, simply because it "screams" neglect and gives (what I perceive as the attitude of "whatever... I just don't care". You mean to tell me that of all of the employees or managers moving those chairs around, not one person thought "Wow...these chairs are really bad...let's secure these legs to the seat/back with some screws?" We cut the bread and several of us took a bite... was not good...an odd strange flavor...then, we noticed the mold on the bottom. They apologized and comped two of our drinks - which was nice. The coffee - barely warm. A fresh pot was made and it was hot, as it should be. My California Portabella (mushroom spinach red pepper and onion) baguette was amazing and very flavorful. A friend had the same with cheese and she also thought it was super good. All of our fries and onion rings were barely warm. Slaw was pretty good. The feedback of others: Flaming cheese "good" and crab cakes "good". BBQ Dino Ribs - "okay... a bit tough" ... taco salad "okay" ... steak "good" ... chicken - "nice smaller portion for a lady, but it was dry". Chopped Sirloin "okay, would not get it again". Prime Rib Dip "good". Three people (two men and one woman) ordered meatloaf and they all really liked it.
