All these years as a local we've walked past and finally decided to try out The Palm. Calm weekday lunch, not too many tables filled but enough to keep the crew busy. The music and ambiance is of old Vegas and such a vibe. Service was good, friendly and attentive. Lunch menu had some solid options at fair prices. The catch of the day from the power lunch menu was my favorite. The grilled shrimp Was good but definitely for the one that wants a healthier dish. Those donut things surprised us, we thought we'd have a bite and be done but we ate every crumb. We asked about a kids menu and they don't have one but they do accommodate with some kid friendly options like a burger or chicken strips. We look forward to going back. read more

Dined with the wife for lunch on a Tuesday; 11:30 reservations (which is when they open). We don't normally eat a fancy weekday lunch but we both took some much needed vacation time so we decided to treat ourselves and I'm glad we did. We sat out on the "patio" which is the section in the mall. Very cute and clean table and great people watching. Our server Yasi was very sweet and welcoming and took great care of us. She checked in often and our water glasses were constantly refilled and plates cleaned promptly. We ordered two salads and two side dishes. My entree was the Sicilian Ahi Tuna Salad which was basically an upscale Salade Nicoise with egg, anchovy, capers, tomatoes etc. It was delicious - the tuna was super fresh and perfectly seared on the outside. Great balance and good anchovy flavor which I love. The wife ordered the Chicken Milanese salad which she liked. Its two breasts pounded thin in a lovely breading served with chopped and dressed radicchio. For sides we ordered the fried asparagus and the potatoes au gratin. Both were well prepared and tasty although they both needed some salt. I didn't downgrade for that however since they provided salt and pepper shakers on the table. Lunch for two came to $76.50 before tax which included two soft drinks. We both thought that was an exceptional value as we were both stuffed and had plenty of delicious leftovers to bring home. read more

Boyfriend and me went ! we absolutely loved the food! My boyfriend ordered a steak and for the price honestly wasn't bad for the portions!!! And the host gentleman with gray hair older (i wish i got his name) he was absolutely wonderful!!! He put me and my boyfriend in the most romantic spot! And was so kind! the restaurant was doing complimentary roses for each table on top aswell just thought it was cute touch! Quick update to my prior happy hour review: very pleased to report the happy hour specials are quite similar to last year's, even the pricing! (see menu attached) As shown on their website, "Happy Hour Available Sunday - Friday, 3:00 - 5:30 PM" and we found this to be accurate, at least on the Friday we were there. Still great service from the bartenders, lovely ambiance, tasty food and drinks, wonderful experience all around. Highly recommend! read more

First time dining here was a nice experience on a Saturday evening pre-concert. We had a reservation for 5:45 and were seated in a booth promptly. I was celebrating a birthday and received a nice bday card at the table. The restaurant filled up shortly after we were seated. We shared a Caesar salad which was good. The kitchen split it which was appreciated. My seabass with egg fried risotto was pretty good, but needed more seasoning. It was not seared and I believe the menu lists it as seared. We each had a cocktail before we ordered entrees and both found our drink to be pretty good. My dining partner had the lobster mac n cheese, and said it was very good and a nice sized portion. I tried it and liked it a lot. We each had a glass of red wine with dinner and the price was reasonable, one glass was $12 and one was $17. I had a dining discount as part of the Landry's rewards program, and our server processed it promptly. Tho the restaurant was pretty full, the noise level was not too bad. Went here for happy hour at the bar. It was pretty empty on a Thursday around 5 pm, so we grabbed a good seat. Bartender approached immediately and was very nice and helpful. We ordered two wines on happy hour. They were decent for the price point. We ordered the bread with three sauces to dip; marinara, vodka and alfredo sauces. This was quite good. I ordered the BLT sliders that came with a salad to put on the sliders...the "bacon" they used was cut so thick, it might as well been a pork belly slider...this was too rich for me....i ended up shaving off pieces of bacon from the sides of the huge slabs. I would not order this again...was just not for me. The picture only shows one because I was distracted by the sheer size of this bacon. Hub got the chicken parmigiana sliders...he liked them..I am not a fan of chicken parm, so I will leave my review of that out of it. These came with a BUNCH of smaller onion rings...I had a few of those and they were good. If you are getting these...they are pretty big for the price point...I think next time I will try something different. The space itself is very pretty and they played great music! read more

If there's one thing I will remember about the dinner at "The palm", it has to be the staff (Brazilian gentleman). He comes with the wealth of knowledge and experience about the events happening around the strip and Las Vegas! My advice is to make a reservation as this place can get really really busy on Fridays & weekends. Once we got seated, they started the service with Bread n Balsamic vinegar. What we ordered for the table: Sides: Smoked bacon macaroni and cheese Crisp Brussels sprouts Three cheese au gratin potatoes Main course: Lamb T-bones Center cut filet Lobster ravioli What went well: - Everyone loved the Brussels sprouts and macaroni and cheese is my personal favorite. Brussels sprouts was crisp, the white sauce that came with it really elevated it to the next level. - One of my friend who tried the Center cut filet (8oz) had only good things to say. What didn't go as planned: - Lamb T-bone didn't work out for me. I've asked my Lamb meat to be "medium well" but it didn't come out like that. They ended up cooking it again for a few minutes upon my request. Also noticed some of the desserts that table next to us ordered. They looked really good from afar. What an Amazing variety of perfectly prepared steaks, sides and appetizers ! The service is extremely attentive and as soon as you get seated, instantly you're greeted and served super fresh delicious bread. Our server arrived shortly to go over any questions and bring drinks right away. She was great !! We had a couple different appetizers to share plus our two mains which were the filet and rib eye. The Brussels sprouts were so good and definitely need to have. We also tried the shrimp cocktail. So fresh and were huge ! The palm is really nice inside as expected and fairly quiet which is nice. Many many many years ago I came here with some bids for dinner before seeing Jerry Seinfeld and had a really great meal and service. Arguably one of my fondest memories of my first trips to Vegas as a younger lad full of P&V. So while in Caesars, and in need of lunch we stopped here. It looked a little different inside than I remembered but we were sat in a crescent booth as the first table of the day. I ordered an old fashioned which was very good and a nice start. I started with the lobster bisque which was perfect and had a cool serving - a small lump of lobster with the bisque poured over it. This was very very good - plenty of flavor. It also paired well with the table bread which was served. With it being lunch I just needed a sandwich, so the meatball parm looked like a perfect option. However it was very very hard to negotiate - one HUGE meatball on a hamburger shaped bun. Picking this up - even after cutting it in half, was almost impossible to eat so I just ate it with a fork and knife. The meatball had heavy seasoning, and I would have traded half the size of the meatball for more red sauce. Still very good. read more

Dinner at The Palm in Las Vegas never disappoints. We love the lobster bisque and crab cakes from here. We made reservations for Saturday night and were promptly seated. We requested the bar area because we knew that we're only planning on appetizers and drinks. I believe our waitress was Cambria (?) and she was wonderful! We asked for recommendations on drinks and she gave us 2 of which we ordered and thoroughly enjoyed. The ambiance is classic. If you're looking for some truly delicious crab cakes or lobster bisque; look no further than The Palm. We have been looking for an alternative restaurant to avoid paying the $25 parking that Cesar's charges but have yet to find one. Although paying so much for parking is not pleasant, it in no way is a reflection on the restaurant. I wish they would comp or at least give you some sort of validation for dining in one of the restaurants at Cesar's, but I'm sure that's beyond your control. read more

Me & my husband recently came to The Palm around two weeks ago, we hadn't been in a while due to us not having a location back home. To start I've always enjoyed coming here. The food is usually top-tier. I love their steaks & seafood. Last time we went, the service went really well. We were seated in a timely manner (but I'm sure that's just due to the time we had went as we didn't have a reservation & it's normally packed). Our waiter was super nice & helpful. Both myself & my husband ordered their lobster mac & cheese dish. It was pretty good overall. My only complaint is there was not much lobster in it & it was in very small pieces (photo below for reference). Our overall experience went very well. read more

Food: sea bass was a tad bit dry. I was disappointed of how small it was for what you're paying for. Luckily I ordered the truffle risotto to share with my family. I thought the risotto was going to be creamy, but it looked like it was cooked too long because it was sticky like it's been sitting out. I also ordered the lobster mac n cheese but hardly saw any lobster pieces. My party wished it was cheesy since it looked like it was sitting out too long as well. The only thing that was good was the lobster bisque and the shrimp on my shrimp saute plate. Pasta was lacking flavor like salt and creaminess. It tasted like water with some butter. I went there for a business lunch. It is located in Caesar's inside the mall area. They had plenty of available seating and let us choose between indoor patio or the main dining area. Our server was attentive and made sure we are well taken care of. We had the lobster bisque, center cut filet (classic Oscar) and lobster tail; all were tasty. "Well, they say nothing lasts forever..." Last night I went to celebrate Mother's Day at The Palm--our longtime go-to spot for lobster and key lime pie. It's been a tradition for years at different states. However, for few times they didn't have lobster, and to my surprise, the key lime pie was no longer on their menu. Last night I called ahead and was told both were back. Great news, or so I thought. We arrived earlier that our reservation and were seated right away. We decided to sit inside, it was too loud outside as if you know this restaurant is located at the Forum shops of Caesars Palace hotel. The staff were friendly, but service was on the slower side. We ordered two lobsters (2.5 and 3 pounds) with a side of potatoes au gratin. The wait for grilled lobster felt long, and unfortunately, when they finally arrived, they were cold and lacked that expected grilled flavor. That said, the lobsters were fresh and juicy, which helped make up for it a bit. Service, again, was just okay. I had to ask someone else for water, as my glass was never refilled. We also asked for more bread, which never came. After we finished eating, it took about five minutes to clear our table and another five to place our dessert order--the much-anticipated key lime pie. Sadly, that was another letdown. I was informed it's now made in-house rather than sourced from their previous outside vendor. I understand rising costs, but the current version simply doesn't compare. It lacked the flavor and richness of their old signature pie richer in condensed milk, lime and the famous raspberry sauce. You can see it on my previous posts. We ate it, but I wouldn't order it again. All in all, The Palm has gone from a solid five-star experience over the years down to three stars for lobster freshness, two stars for flavor, and three stars for service. Overall, a very disappointing visit, for me. I know they are strong on steaks, after all they are a steak house, so I'll be looking for other lobster options and key lime pie elsewhere. read more

I haven't been here in years but it was 100% as amazing as I remembered! The food is as good as you can get and the service is top shelf. Our server tonight was "John" tall French man that was really on top of it and did an outstanding job. This is a bit loud and can be a fast paced steak house but very comfortable. You'll have white table clothes and nice cloth napkins as expected at a top notch restaurant. I had their whole Lobster which I shared and a Tomahawk steak., shared. The lobster was cooked perfectly and was completely taken out of the shell at our table which I love. No one wants to fight with their food! The steak was amazing and carved at the table. Cocktails of course were wonderful. I started with my normal Hendricks extra dry Martini with Blue Cheese olives and it was mixed perfectly. Their wine list has about all you could want. This review is only for Thanksgiving day. Other days are probably better. We went as a group of 7 to celebrate Thanksgiving. We had 2 little kids and luckily they were great getting the kids meals out quickly and accommodating other off menu items such as spaghetti for them and a small steak cut up in slices! After we ordered and had appetizers then we waited over 1.5 hours for the main course. No word on it being backed up till we finally asked (after 1.5 hours). Then we were told it was because they had much more turkey orders than expected. Staff was friendly but overwhelmed. Had to remind them for drinks and our soups for it to be delivered. I was the only one who ordered turkey so I felt bad that the wait was so long for the rest of the party to receive their steaks. Turkey portion was small, dry and just underwhelming overall. Almost felt like they were giving people small portions to accommodate all the orders. Couldn't believe I waited for that. One guest medium rare steak was overdone at medium and another person at my table had hers more rare considering she ordered medium. They were even out of our ordered cheesecake by the time dessert came which felt like forever. Overall, good company but not a great meal yesterday. read more

We chose the Palm because I used to go to the one in Los Angeles before it closed and because my uncle's picture used to hang on the wall here in Las Vegas. I am glad that we chose it because the experience couldn't have been better. The Palm is everything a classic steak house should be. Had lunch at The Palm inside Cesar's palace. It wasn't busy at 11:30 on a weekday and we had our choice of seats. We chose to sit "outside and watch the stream of people walking by inside the shopping area of the casino. We had the Cobb salad which was large with lots of avocado, blue cheese, and chunks of chicken breast. The dressing was flavorful and not too heavy or vinegary. We also had the 3 course lunch special. I started with the Caesar salad and then the fish of the day which was mahi mahi. It came with a large quantity of sautéed enoki mushrooms. The fish was a little dry for my taste, but I often find mahi mahi to be that way. The enoki mushrooms and the sauce they were in was so good and savory. For dessert I upgrade for $3 to the cheesecake which was a true NY style cheesecake that case with salted caramel sauce. It was huge and delicious.
