We had so much fun hosting a private party event here! You just go on their website and choose the…read morepackage you want, date, time, and number of guests. They will correspond with you and you can choose the artwork you want to paint (they have THOUSANDS to choose from). You can also invite your guests to register and pay separately. On the day of your event, you can bring your own snacks, foods, drinks, and decorations. Everything else would be prepared for you, including utensils, ice, and any painting/ candle making supplies you would need. There is also an instructor who will guide you as you follow along. Though that is the case, you can still customize the painting to your own liking (in terms of colors and painting styles). It was so cool to see everyone's unique take of the painting afterwards. We all had a blast! This is such a nice indoor activity for those cold Chicago days. Since there is an instructor, this is a good activity for everyone; those who are more artistically skilled and even for first-timers heheh. The newly renovated lounge is beautiful, with large windows and original hardwood floors. The gift shop offers a ton of lovely items. The staff that I encountered were wonderful. Everyone was very professional, friendly and helpful. Once inside the grand room, excitement is in the air. Spacious and dim, we anxiously await what we know will be special. There is a balcony and small seating areas. The music starts and the images roll across the walls. The sound and visual systems are perfect. It was moving and, detailed yet grand. I wished it would go on forever. Even if you are not a classical music aficionado, you will thoroughly enjoy your experience. This exhibit is perfect to attend as a group or alone.

It was just this Sunday and prior to that we are just met the Chicago Bears quarterback at Beatrix. We are on a legally high when we got to our painting class. Our instructor was awesome and we played some fun little drinking games where we brought our own BYOB champagne, of course. This was a gift from my son-in-law and it couldn't have been a more positive experience or pictures were awesome too.

I believe you can bring your own wine, so that you can drink and create. We did have to check in when we arrived. The staff was wonderful with helping everybody. I would definitely do one again.
