The snails were a little chewier than I had in France, but that's to be expected. The way the little layer of puff pastry soaked up the garlic butter more than made up for it. The cheese was the icing on the cake, er, snails. The walleye was some of the best I've ever eaten. It was perfectly cooked, and a real treat. It had loads of flavor, a touch of heat and was absolutely delicious. I loved the Tortino! It wasn't a big dessert, but it didn't need to be. Big on chocolate flavor and the hazelnuts were a delightful additon.

We had the whole roasted Russian River Trout and Teriyaki beef tips. Started with the warm marinated olives. I'm very objective and have to say the trout was the most superb meal I've had this year away from home. I had to ask how they sourced the fish because I was amazed at how clean, fresh, and flavorful it was. We are both lifelong foodies and skilled cooks so the whole dish service was exciting and not commonly done. The staff were also handling a wedding on the rooftop, but service was excellent regardless. Our waitress really listened to everything we said and ensured our food was served as we preferred. I was also pleased that we're were able to move to an acceptable table away from foot traffic. I would have been bumped on repeat otherwise with the wedding guests coming down. I hope the couple and guests had a great experience as well! Forgot to congratulate them. So happy to finally give 5 stars! Keep up this tempo VT.

Nice little restaurant with both indoor and outdoor d covered outdoor seating. Views of the St…read more Clair River are excellent from almost any seat. In as much as Great Lakes perch was unavailable, (they had European perch) my friend and i opted for the walleye. Walleye was prepared either pan or deep fried. We both chose the pan fry option. Instead of sides, we got Manhattan Clam chowder. The chowder was flavorful and thick like it should be. My serving also had a reasonable amount of clams. My only complaint was way too many large potatoes which take up a lot of space and offer very little to the overall dish. Our walleye was very good. Our wives both ordered Buddha Bowls. My wife thought hers was "too mushy" and her meat choice of carnitas had no flavor even after trying sauce and salt. Service was excellent and attentive.

The food went downhill from there. I ordered the fried perch. I got two and a half, yes, a half, filet of perch. When I questioned it, the waitress said they weigh the fish and two and a half fillets were 4 oz. The fillets were only 2 inches Long! There is no way that two and a half fillets was 4 oz. My husband ordered the ribs, they were dry and chewy. My friend ordered the smashburger which was severely overcooked. Her husband ordered the chicken kabobs. They were the best food we received that day, but the taziki sauce was just tartar sauce. The atmosphere and view are awesome. So maybe consider going there for drinks and appetizers. Seems like the food is hit or miss. Ours was definitely a miss.
